TravelRe: Why Do People 'Disrespect' London? by Dreloaded(f): 10:20pm On Apr 23, 2008
Jackal I'm going by the ridiculous eresponses by the "British Nigerians" in all of the "London" threads.

It's the same old defensive responses. "go back to your horrible Naija if you don't like it" blah blah blah. If I had time to waste, I'd quote them for you. It's Pitiful

as for comparing London to Lagos, I think people mainly say that cos of the amount of Nigerians that are there. I mean like how some people say peckham is like oshodi cos of the way Nigerians there behave. I dont know about you guys but I assume most of it is just tongue in cheek
Nigerians in London are defensive ma foot.
Not even trying to be funny here, you know it's true. It's "British Nigerians" that you see going around telling other Nigerians to "go back to their country". Pathetic bullshit I'd expect from hicks. Parroting the slogans by the same BNP that doesnt even want you guys there in the first place.

You don't see us going into sermons and essays calling those who don't like The States "insecure" and other meaningless garbage.

Most you'd find me and others doing and is making little jokes here and there about the weather, atrocious food and the Queen.  The usual amusing sterotypes. To actually get into a debate that spans over 20 pages over why we think "America is so great", doubtful

You'd sooner find me defending Nigeria or Yoruba people than the States even though I've lived here way longer than I have Nigeria.

Some of the British asslicking is just embarrassing  embarassed

and don't concern yourself with his lifestyle as he is gotten to the age where he is taking things easy and living a leisurely life
why can't he deal with his "leisurely" lifestyle by himself with his own money? Shameless people.
If the wife has a problem, let HER send the money to HER father to cater for a girl younger than she is brought in to cater as her father's sex slave. Rubbish.
He knows enough to marry some kid yet can't take care of her? Typical Nigerian BS.

It's one thing if it was just random old man issues but the fact that he;s now begging his children for money to take care of some " baby wife" is disgusting.

Abeg, avoid all calls. if the foolish girl ends up getting pregnant you'll be the ones taking care of the kid(s) too? Please/

I mean it's "cool" that he wants to look into the matter but he should probably "probe" more into WHY he has to fly out to Germany for medical treatement and also why Nigeria doesnt have her own airline

But that's just me.

yea seriously I dont understand some "Christians", not sure how a so called Christian can accept/create a polygamous home.

I mean how desperate must you be to stay with someone that suddenly places you as being "second best" in his or "her" life. Dont understand it.

i believe d man should keep d ring
because since there r no longer together ,he can as well use it for another babe
depends on why it was called off dont you think?

if it's mutual, it should be returned but if some sorta "sinster secret" came out then he or she should pawn it

all I know is that Evan needs to stop playing the same bloody roles. I mean she's good at it and all but I'd think by now she'd try to be abit more diverse

I enjoyed it for what it was. I thought it was fine, most people were expecting historical facts, many things about Henry and his situation with Anne Bolelyn was ignored but I didnt mind, I already know the real story anyway besides this was about her sister Mary, not Anne

and I watched it mainly for Natalie Portman anyway plus Eric Bana is hott wink

bluehorizo:
Good. I wonder why she did not go get her momma's gown instead of investing in a new gown.
what if her momma didnt have a gown? Mine didnt. She did court wedding and traditional so there's no "gown" to inherit

and some dresses are classically styled that anyone can wea it again no matter the era. afterall in some families, wedding rings are passed down from generation but they are usually unique and worth alot.
EventsRe: Is N75,000 Not Too Much For A Wedding Gown? by Dreloaded(f): 9:20pm On Apr 21, 2008
bluehorizo:
And after the wedding day what becomes of the gown? Will you continue to wear it everyday or take it to the museum? Waste of money.
daughters can wear it or she can turn it inrto a summer dress.
