RomanceRe: Woman Beater - How To Know Them by Dreloaded(f): 3:39pm On May 15, 2008
Actually with that statement I was referring to

you should have seen what my mom did to popsi in naij when she found out he had slept with all the unmarried/married women in his office and in the neighbourhood
Not sure where you got violent from as he didnt go in depth of what she did.

Anyway tboy, what I dont understand is how with a mother like yours, your sister could even tolerate that crap for as long as she did
RomanceRe: My Boo And I: by Dreloaded(f): 3:28pm On May 15, 2008

I must say I APPLAUD your mother. Awon Yoruba kin ba nonsense lowo anybody.

Rubbish. That's exactly what my mother would have done and the whole thing withs soliders is what my dad would have done then again, child or no child I dont believe I would have dealt with that for so long. 6 years? Man she tried. Im glad you told your mom ehen she told you not too, what if he ended up kiilling her? Most mothers would have been like "grin and bear it". Pathetic disgraces to humanity.

Can you imagine, her kid's first words in native tongue is words used in the abuse of his mother. That's so disgusting. sad

stillwater, please ignore that lunatic. Apparenrtly he's an example of the kind of monsters people should avoid.

There are seriously some guys you can tell from the jump, some "subtle hints" are actually red flags that most girls tend to ignore and then there are the sociopaths that you just dont cant know

-Family Background(watch his parents)
-Mentality/Reasoning, alot truy to say shit cos they know they think it's what you want to hear but most of the time you can tell if they actally believe in what they are saying or not
-Mood/Tolerance Level
-Friendship With Alcohol, I know alot will say blah blah not everyone who drinks are beaters, whatever. HOWEVER if dude is known for drowning sorrows or depressing with drinks, then know the person has severe issues.

I cant date a drinker anyway, even the so called social ones sef, na beware.

Beauty is supposed to be a natural thing, you don't have to look like xmas trees that shines from every angle. I like to be natural (check my profile) and my babe to be like that
If you ever find a "babe", you had better never let her go

and that's all Im gonna say

@Naijaking,
I really support you on that. Religious activities have taken over the whole place On a single street you would see like 5 churches 3 of them would have Vigils at Night and would be on Megaphone all through the night. I think govt should do something about this.
I agree. They should be added as well
Change my life? LOL. O boy, you funny o. Nairaland is just one of many forums I visit when I'm bored. It hasn't changed my life in anyway.

Seun, I know you are proud of your website and all, but methinks you're a bit delusional if you think your messageboard can be some sort of life-changing mechanism. There are literally millions of messageboards all over the web.
They are some who met their life partners here thus in a WAY it has "changed" the lives of those people. No be so?

One of the main reason the life expectancy is so low in many African countries is because their are not many dentists around, an argument I have brought up and was quickly shut down. Too bad in the end I might do want I really want.
If that's what you want to do, go ahead. Dentist make ALOT of money without the obnoxious hours esp orthodontists

Plus many are called "doctor" too tongue
RomanceRe: Is Anything Wrong In Marrying Medical Doctor. by Dreloaded(f): 4:40am On May 14, 2008
Do most of the parents care? As long as they get to be called "Iya Doctor" or their daughters are called "Iyawo Doctor", it doesnt matter to them if the person is working like a cheap dog or the spouse is miserable.
FashionRe: Do You Use/prefer Tampons Or Pads? by Dreloaded(f): 12:42am On May 14, 2008

You are talking US residency and thats totally different. The ones in Nigeria in a program actually don't have that much hassle trust me.
US its a set period and you need to get signed off yearly so if you are lazy then you are finished. In Nigeria its totally book work which you write when you are ready unless you get kicked for been there way too long.
Thus you see many taking it easy in government hospitals.
But what make Nigerian doctors busy is the fact they tend to run around doing government work + running a clinic on the side.
Try dating the ones in UK.They tend to be stuck in middle of program for ages due to the system there but then work less hours but the pay is still pretty good if nah money you want
Actually it was in Nigeria that we met wink
Imagine leaving night parties at quarter to midnight because of work calls and shit when midnight is when such parties start sef. Shit was rdiculous, it was mostly calls and texting and seeing each other once or twice a week, at most three times. meh.

and i don't know why people keep screaming they make money. what money? the ones in The States are too busy paying back thousands of dollars in loans, barely have time to buy new clothes (the scrubs are heavensent to them). the ones that make decent money are those with private practice after so many years and SURGEONS and to be a surgeon that's another 5-10 years of school. Abegi

why go through all that just to hear "Iyawo Doctor" when you can get better money and more attention being with an investment banker, engineer, lawyer, hedge fund executive, pharmacist, etc
RomanceRe: Is Anything Wrong In Marrying Medical Doctor. by Dreloaded(f): 12:07am On May 14, 2008
No but I wouldnt.

Dated one for a few months, the whole madness of his job annoyed me.

The ones in residency are the worst. Only VERY VERY patient people can deal with that shit.
