Ferlie, let sane people reply to my question Thanks |
If you are abused, turn your left cheek. When you die, you will to go heaven.Lmao. seems like the Nigerian way to live |
to make matters worse, her husband seems to be the conservative kind - no trips downtown, no alternative positions ( as long as madam is on top , there is no need for a guy to perform - madam will get there by herselfIf a woman was this "conservative" the same NL people would tell him to go outside for expert. I feel bad for that woman. Can someone tell me why it's ok for a man to leave his new wife for supposedly hnot being a virgin on her "wedding night" but it's ok to "understand" a man with erectile dysfunction which he obviously knew about Im waiting |
anyway I've yet to understand those who get married without getting a through physical. The same people that used to scream "divorce your wifeb for not having blood on tthe matrimonal bed" are the ones that expect women to be "understanding" when it comes to erectile dysfunction The irony. |
osisi, dont make jenny feel bad now for spekaing her mind truthfully na Besides she's still pretty young, who wnats to deal witha dead horse. |
oyb:exactly. Not sure how people believe in that. almost as ridiculous as the "rhythm method" |
Hi all, I'm just wondering is it quite normal in your own culture for your husband to attend the above without you? You're becoming very annoying Leilah. I used to wonder why people would attack you for asking questions and speaking your mind. Now I know something is terribly wrong with you What kind of idiotis question are you asking? You could have just said "Would you allow your husband to go out partying without you", instead fo trying to make it a "culture issue". Since when have discotheques and such been Nigerian culture? Better stop being daft. Is it an odd thing only restricted to Nigerians where men go out and leave their dumb wives at home? Seriously you're beginning to annoy me. As for your "I would enver stand for it", Lmfao. Is this the same Lielah that cant even stop her husband for forcing anal sex, you want to act like you could stop your husband from going out without you? Lol. Some of us have very good memories, girl. Try again next time. |
lol what do you have against kissing, osisi? Anyway I only watch them every now and then, I do have some that actually struck a choard as being pretty entertaining -Total Decision -Games Women Play -Dangerous Sisters or Desperate Sister. I just know it's the one that has Omotola in it but not with Genevive. -War Games -Old School ( Patience is hilarious in this) -Widow -Zoza -Immaterial -Before The View/After The Vow Now The ones I think YOU'd really like are Widow, Zoza, old School then Before The Vow & After The Vow |
Man omoovie you lost me when you said BB wasnt worthy of its wawards, deserved way more awards than that useless Crash and TransAmerica was ALSO a good movie. |
chrisoml:*sighs* Nevermind Obviously you didnt get it. Normal people would say "elaborate" The post was p-retty much saying he's been on the musical side since he was young. Simple. |
Most places do say "husband and wife" |
Seun, can you ban Mpele? Thanks. |
"natural form" of contraceptative fails many times |
So Nigerians have to be killed before people can yell injustice according to Kobojunkie |
Yeah @D-reloaded so that means the guy already knew where he was going back then in the hoods, but your folks didn't believe in him or gave him any chance of making it to limelight back then, but at the end of the day his resilience paid off and made him famous. That what I call a focused life. Are you drunk? If anything, when he grew up to be a musician, the whole neighborhood was amused since he's been doing it since he was a toodler hence the stories Dont know where you got the gibberish of "not believing in him" and all that nonsense from. Next time, if you don't understand my comment(s), ask me to elobrate instead of making ridiculous posts/assumptions Anyway, RIP Sunny. |
Thank you Chris ![]() very sad news. His family lived in Surulere next to my mom and grandmom, she used tov tell me stories of how when Sunny was young, he'd disturb the whole neighbour drummping on pots. ![]() |
It's "everywhere" yet no one can post a reliable source abi? |
Can we get a reasonable source please |
Lmfao, AJ. You're silly. When last have you been to England btw? |
100%? |
Looks like some people have taken too much communion wine syrup, apology accepted ![]() |
if He could give His own precious life on the cross for mere mortals like us when He could so easily have refused to how4Him, why would He refuse? Wasnt the main point of His time on Earth to die for our sins out of compassion? Lying is Lying, true although as we can see we have some people dont equate bearing false witness to lying.Anyway some people including myself have nop problem lying if it helps the lives of others. If it means burning, so be it but I have a feeling God would forgive us anyway ![]() |
Truce is for those who are fighting. I'm not fighting with you ![]() I hardly find the term "ridiculous' offensive esp in the context I used it here. But if you did for whatever reason. I apologize. Did I assume that at all?Yes, somewhat, when you stopped at just "I believe the Biblical view of neighbor" ![]() If someone posits that lying is a "better" answer, it points to me that such a person comes across as favouring such.Care to elaborate on how he did that, as in in what way did he claim that "lying is better". I'm confused. |
tell a "lie" and to "bear false witness" in my view are not the same thingMost people would disagree with you. However, I do see what you are saying. |
On the Nazi question, I think the morally correct thing to do is to tell a lie to save the refugees lives. I think the ideal you take, while commendable in other situations would be reprehensible in this one. Imagine, you were one of the refugees. What would you rather the good German did?Yea I thought that reply was but I guess we cant all agree on how we would deal with situatioons or interpreations. If we are to believe that we'd be punished for lying to save someone else's life(or regards to the victimized Jews, thousands of lives) then I would disagree with God being compassionate and merciful as most of us have been taught. |
syrup:First off, please dont insult me. If anything was an attack it was this Second, it is not my call if the mus.lim you refered to welcomes lying - you welcomed his response probably because you love lying yourself. I see why it is a "better and honest effort" as you applauded; sadly, how you celebrate that as a virtue to "bear false witness against your neighbour" is beyond me!All this because he said olabowole did a better job answering his question than you did which is actually true. You immediately accused him of "loving lies" If he called for an indepth answer or elaboration on that, he should have simply asked. Did he? He quotes the Bible as one who knows - could he have been vacant on that as well? That's not the point. He asked "who is my neighbor", an insightful explantion on that would be have nice, instea dofd "I go by the Biblical view of a neigbor", then you turn it on to him by asking him who does HE consider to be a neighbor, that is what he problem with and I understand that You claim you replied like that cos he quotes the Bible like one who knows, just because he made the thread doesnt mena he's the only one reading it. Many of us tend to gander ta some threads in this forum that are of interest. You shouldnt just assume everyone understands. Going into depth about certain things doesnt just benefit the OP but other people who reads these threads as well. That's my point. |
You skipped most of his questions though, syrup. What do you have to say about the Nazi situation he offered, you ignored most of that and went off on a different tangent that a simple passerby like myself sincerely couldnt understand, shouting at him and saying "he loves lies" because he's showing you how you barely responded to his question is quite ridiculous. You say in regards to "who is your neighbor", all you said is "I take the Biblical view", why couldnt you go in depth? |
Brush your tongue properly. Most people dont, sadly ![]() |

but I guess we cant all agree on how we would deal with situatioons or interpreations.
