For hw many broiler, nd Wat is d average weight u normally get.
for 100 broilers, we get average weight of 1.8kg - 2kg.......though sometimes we start selling at 5 weeks......we have sold at 5 weeks 1 day before at 2kg....if you are lucky to start selling at 5 weeks, they might not eat up to the 15 bags

Career / Re: What Prominent Achievement Did You Make In 2016? Share With Us by drexx(m): 10:29pm On Dec 31, 2016
absolutely no regrets in 2016, all thanks to Almighty God who used my weak efforts though to take me far. I established Rex Farms, built the brand and established it as a strong player in the poultry industry........
Agriculture / Re: Feasibility for rearing 100 Broilers by drexx(m): 6:17am On Dec 13, 2016
The truth I have come to realize is that broilers production patterns and marketing vary from location to location. The feasibility posted up there might not work for your location. Find out the specific needs of your market before you produce so as not to run at a loss. I farm in Akwa Ibom and this feasibility in the Akwa Ibom poultry terrain doesn't work

Agriculture / Re: Starting A Poultry Farm (a Blog) by drexx(m): 4:27pm On Oct 13, 2016
Good afternoon every one, special appreciation to everyone who has contributed in one way or the other to offer information and help to peeps on the thread. I started a poultry farm, got my day old last week friday, so far I have lost five, post mortem showed excess smoke in the lungs and I took the correction as it is a learning process. my issue right now is that my birds are dropping brown watery faeces. I have contacyed my vet and he gave me a drug to put in water for them. i started the medication yesterday, though the prevalence has reduced, it is not eliminated as I keep seeing few patches of liquid brownish faeces. How long would it take to eliminate the issue.

Also I want to delve into cockerel brooding.......is it a good venture.....Can I rasie them with broilers. any additional info on cockerel brooding will be highly appreciated
Agriculture / Best Business Operation For An Oil Palm Plantation by drexx(m): 1:15am On Oct 01, 2016
My mom got this oil Palm Plantation that has about 50 stands of "agric oil Palm trees" as the sellers call it. We are torn between the best operation plan business wise. The sellers say the trees fruit every month from October to may. My mom says we should just harvest the fruit and sell like that. I am of the opinion that we process and get the red oil, then sell the nuts. I want to know which one is more profitable given that we are going to rent the processing factory and also pay for Labour. Suggestions needed please

I wouldn't say something am not remotely sure about, mate. Biology is compulsory for that course.
Thanks Nixowl very grateful. Pls I got this info from noun site

m entry requirements for BSc. Environmental Science and Resource Management are five (5) O’ Level (SSCE/NECO/G.C.E/NABTEB) Credits at not more than two sittings including: English and Mathematics and any of Geography, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Agricultural Science and Economics.

I went to uyo study center today to enquire. I met the counsellor there. He told me to apply. That they should take me. He also said Biology would have made it a straight ball game. He urged me to apply though.

Thanks for the assistance though

In as much as I am a staunch apc supporter, I and the majority of akwa Ibomites don't want Umana. How I wish apc had a better candidate, if Umana is the best they have, then let Udom rule till infinity

In as much as I am pro apc, pro Buhari through and through, the apc presented the very wrong candidate for this election. Udom and Umana are evils but Udom is a lesser evil. UMANA is so selfish and power hungry. That's the last thing AK Ibom needs now. I pray Udom wins. Dakadda ndito akwa Ibom...... Let's stop UMANA

Every relationship will sooner or later bcom a distant relationship, even if u guyz ar in dsame skul, what if u want 2 go 4 ur NYSC&she's still in 200l,300l or 400l,what ar u gonna do abt dat?..or maybe u guyz stay in dsame location @home&she's studying in a different higher institution, wont u guyz eventually go 2 ur respective skuls?.I'm in a long distance relationship(although nt dat long) bt i'm nt passing tru any emotional torment cos "babe wey go Bleep anoda guy go Bleep am,even wen u dey dsame hostel"&even in dis 21st century, most relationship is just like u're playing a game.I have my future 2 focus on than thinking if one babe is cheating on me,if she like, make she cheat&wen i'm ready 2 marry,i knw what 2 do.Guyz, just make sure u ar nt a loser in any relationship u engage in,datz d REAL DEAL.
one of my hostel mates was dating a guy five buildings from my hostel but she would still come and have sex with me..........one day she was sick and the guy visited her in my hostel and couldnt go that night, she still sneaked out of her room to still come and collect......just buttressing your point that who would cheat would cheat

I stay in Benin, my girlfriend stays in uyo and we have been dating for three years plus now.....i met her a virgin and she still remians a virgin till now.....the love has not reduced a bit........even when I was not forthcoming, she held out and kept the relationship......one thing keeping her is the fact that she is so focused on her books, nothing interests her for now....you know a virgin when you are with one.....so no doubts
Phones / Re: My Fake Samsung Galaxy S3 (N20k) by drexx(m): 4:08pm On Dec 14, 2013
You guys should take it easy with the Op. Anyone could fall a victim to such ploys maybe not with phones. He may not be that phone savvy... I almost fell into the same situation. A guy brought a supposed galaxy note 2 for 12k. The phone bore all semblance to the original one. I had made calls that cash be withdrawn and brought so I can pay for it. When I was done with what I was doing. I told the guy to bring the phone so I could feel it while waiting for the money to arrive. It was there that I knew it was chinko. The physical appearance of the phone was exactly like the original. Bottom line is that cheap things are not worth it. If it's good, it is worth paying for.

Education / Re: Most Nigerian Students In Ghanaian Universities Are Serial JAMB Failures by drexx(m): 4:34pm On Nov 04, 2013
iamdsam: Bleep it! Nigeria universities age crab. Can you imagine me finishing secondary school at the age of 16 in 2010 and wrote JAMB that age. I passed my JAMB and wrote POST UTME in UNIBEN and DELSU in 2010. The post UTME was the one that failed me. Can you imagine at 20 am not still in school. My mates who are in school in UNIBEN, UNILAG, UNIPORT right aren't brilliant than me. The thing is that Nigeria destroys the brain and determination of the brilliant ones. Most people in school right now don't really merit it. Most are by connections
Guy I have to state here that your mental capacity is at the lowest imaginable point or probably non existent. How dare you mention University of Benin? There is no way you can get admission into that school with such a low IQ..... If there is a school that values merit, it's university of Benin. I knew nobody there when I got admission, first list, first choice course. First time of going to Benin was for Pume... I go to Ghana often and as someone rightly pointed if you are not in legon, knust, University of cape coast and 2 more government universities I can't recall their names now, then you are crab...... Valley View is the best private university in Ghana but it is miles behind covenant University in terms of infrastructure and facilities. I have close relations in Ghana, I fly there often. I know Ghana in and out. Let me also quickly point out that the top good Ghanaian universities are very competitive. Ghanaians need to make 5 A's in waec to stand a chance to get admission in schools like legon, knust and the lots... Anyway you look at it, the private universities that Nigerians flock to are alternatives for dull Ghanaians. So if you failed jamb, you can join your fellow dullards in Ghana

This guy is obeying the law of rationality in consumer behavior in economics. In economics, this man is very rational because he achieves maximum satisfaction at the point of budget exhaustion when he has full knowledge of the good he is buying and its alternatives. I live my life by instincts not by reason

komek: Yorubas are the funniest nation I have seen in this part of the world. Iam not trying to start a tribal war o pls. Look at the way they are even dancing and jumping up and down.

This shi.t can't happen in some parts of this country. For the fact that Adam Oshiomole, repeated what Tifnubu said here in Lagos down their in Benin about the proposed National conference, the whole hall was rowdy, infact he was whisked away, buh here my brothers and sisters in the west will celebrate rubbish. Why wud this man keep doing things his own way for God sake.

one adjective to describe the yoruba race - cowards
Sports / Re: Ethiopia Vs Nigeria - WCQ (1 - 2) On 13th October 2013 by drexx(m): 4:54pm On Oct 13, 2013
Two things can not be denied:
Ethiopia played the better and more attractive football
for the majority of the match and made Nigeria look like
it's equal if not less.
Emenike is Nigeria's best player at the moment and
single-handedly lifted Nigeria past Ethiopia with a
spectacular single effort.
Ethiopia was the better team, but Emenike showed how
one player can change the whole game and come out
victorious

My dad, a graduate of English has never used English with us at home. He believes in training his kids with the native language. That's why I don't have issues in communicating with anybody old and young....... Last two Sundays, I was invited to speak in a church and on getting there, I realised that the place is very interior, if I dare use English, nobody would flow with me. I switched on to our dialect and it was amazing how I connected with the congregation
