Good day nairalanders..., I'm a fresh student of a federal university in Nigeria, am done with first semester before the ongoing strike. My course is mechanical engineering which is a five years course, but due to age issues about getting job in Nigeria ( as my brother told me and have come across many on nairaland), am thinking of switching my course from mechanical engineering to a four years course ( computer science to be precise). My question is that is it possible to do that and advisable to do so..., I'm 21 Years of age, considering this ASUU strike that comes up almost every year in our universities and studying five years course, am thinking of switching my course. Is it possible?, If yes, will you advice me to do so or I should continue with engineering? Thanks |
