vet Doctor and a Nurse, they're both perfect for the Canadian journey. Their profession is widely sorted for in Canada, just wait for the seniors to illuminate more on this. But from my little experience, they're good to go. Since the wife is younger, she should be the primary applicant. Just check the EE thread for more information.

I learnt that the hubby can claim Masters/professional with DVM degree, also the year of working experience is about 4years which is also more than the wife experience. Do you think the age advantage of the wife can give more point or enough to make her the primary applicant ?

Thanks

As a vet he might need to use a different body to evaluate (for example, medical drs must evaluate using MCC), might not be WES, please do some research on that. Also check the same for nurses... For the other questions please go thru page 1 in full and you will get all the info you need.
Alright, thanks so much. I will do more research to know the evaluation body for Vet.Doc.

Please, if you are a Vet Doctor in this thread and you have done similar thing like this, I would appreciate your contribution.

Simulating their CRS is the first step. The Vet doctor can claim points for Masters/professional degree because of his profession but the Registered nurse can only claim points for Bachelors(Masters points is higher than Bachelors points). The Vet will also lose about 14 or 15 points on age. They also have to max out their IELTS to be able to have a high CRS. If their CRS is in the 470s, they may have a chance with EE, if not they may have to consider other options like PNP. There’s a thread for express entry, I think you will get better answers there pertaining to immigration. Job prospect for RN is great . I know people don’t joke with their pets here, so I’m assuming job prospect should be good for Vet doctors too. I have no idea of the immigration programs for Australia (there’s also a thread for this topic on NL) but I know for sure that it’s a very good country too.
Thanks so much brother.

Since the husband can claim Masters/professional degree, is it advisable that he should be the primary applicant? Someone says the wife should be the primary applicant but her level of degree and year of work experience (2yrs) is not up to husband. Is age advantage of the wife enough to make her the primary applicant?

How can the husband claim Masters degree, when we doing the evaluations of the certificate?

Thanks so much.. I don’t want the question to get to much... But answer to the above questions will as well give me a broad view.

Hello house, please I’m making this enquiry for my brother. He is a Veterinary Doctor (DVM) with 4years of working experience, 33yrs old. His wife (26yo) is a Nurse (Bsc) with approximately 2years of working experience. Please, what do they need to start with on this journey of EE?

Do they really have prospect in Canada? I’m suggesting Australia for them as the second choice because I don’t know if Canada is better for their professions.

Is it advisable for both of them to evaluate their certificate with WES and also write IELTS together?

What are the likely IELTS bands that can make them enter the EE pool?

I would really appreciate it if anyone can reply me.

Thanks a lot

Under normal circumstances, you can travel to Nigeria on an expired Nigerian passport and renew when you get there. It's relatively easier if you're on a direct flight from the U.S. With Covid, I have no idea if the few operating carriers/evacuation flights will exercise the same optionality as under normal times. You would need to email/call and confirm before buying your ticket, and be sure to get written confirmation. It helps to provide them with the written rules when making your inquiries as most agents are usually unaware.
Thanks so much for this information... It really helps

I for help you..but as long as embassy is closed, there's nothing you can do.

Why do you really need to speak with an embassy official.
Thanks for your reply bro.
I really wanna talk to any insider so that I can get it done. Thinking I can be lucky if I know someone in that embassy. Even if the embassy is closed, I'm sure they will still be operating underground.

I would appreciate it if you can help.

There's really nothing you can do until the embassy opens. My passport is expired too and I have tried to renew it in the Nigerian embassy in German, France, Poland and Belgium. None of them are open. The German Embassy staff pick up their phone and are really friendly but they say I should keep checking their website for when they will open. So my advice to you is to be patient, even if you have an insider, they will not renew your passport unless you are the President of Nigerias son.
Thanks for your contribution... I learnt the Nigeria embassy in Austria still issuing passport.

Hello, please am a resident of the United States and currently, I am really in need to renew my passport. I got appointment at the embassy in March but the pandemic did not let me go for capturing.

Please, I would appreciate if anyone can connect me with someone at the embassy directly? I do not really know if it's possible to get any emergency travel paper from the embassy? Because I really need to travel back home very soon. Lastly, or, is it possible to travel with the expired passport, has anyone ever tried this?

Note, I have called the embassy several times but with no response.

I would appreciate your contribution.

Hello house, please I need your advice.

My fiancée is a PR in the state, but I want to apply for a visiting visa on my own as someone that doesn’t have anyone in the state because I think VO might think that I will not come back again if either I make it known that I have a Fiancée in the state or visiting a fiancée ?

I really need your advice. Is it advisable to state that I’m visiting a Fiancée? Does it have any positive impact on my visa application? I don’t want to jeopardise my chances please.

Thanks

Good! Unfortunately I don’t review LOE except in emergency cases. I only answer questions here or review case files and give advice. Each sponsor must state the exact amount they are willing g to dole out each year towards your support. You need to present evidence too that you have money for tickets, someone has to pay for it or you have to present evidence that you yourself can pay.
Thank you bro, really appreciate your contribution.

You can send ur SOP to my email onwodiamaka@yahoo.com

It is better to be safe than to be sorry. Stating sponsor’s number of defendants if any, is a very important information. I will advice you be in communication with your co-sponsor via email or phone and enact the necessary correction to your sponsorship letter, including number of defendants. No, such info is not demanded as part of the online process. If you do not include such information on your sponsorship letter, the VO May deny your application based on insufficient funds because there is never a way to tell that your co-sponsor is financially solvent. Yes even if this person is not your main sponsor, this information needs to be included. Even though not your main sponsor, his contribution to your education may be significant to be a game changer. It is important to cross all your t’s dot all your i’s to prevent stories that touch.
Thanks bro..
I was in talk with him this morning and he made me know that, it’s possible for him to edit and sign the letter electronically as that’s what he did on the previous letter he gave me. Pls, can you review my LOE?

Now, I have a question: since there is an opportunity for me to add info again, my main sponsor is covering the larger percentage of my fund which is living expenses while my co-sponsor will be covering tuition fee. Please which one is good; For each of my sponsor to state the exact amount and part they will be supporting me with Or to just state that they will be supporting my education in Canada, which one is the good enough?

@DRiches, do you think the VO will deny you Visa simply because one of your sponsors didn’t mention their dependants?
Why are disturbing yourself? If you feel every other aspect of your application is good to go, kindly submit your application. No reasonable person will refuse your application because your sponsor didn’t state their dependants.

No time, processing time is increasing
Good luck
Thank you bro, I understand now.

HiSignature:
Hi DRiches,
In my opinion, the reason why dependants are included in sponsor's letter is to show the level of his financial commitment to others thus, will help the VO figure out if he will be capable enough to include you with stress.

Since your main sponsor can alter hers, then i think you should be Ok with her own since the other sponsor is not available to amend his letter and he is even not your main sponsor.
I stand to be corrected.

Thanks for your opinion, I really appreciate it. Very helpful

DRiches,

No Sir! That was not what I meant. Considering he's a co-sponsor and not available to mention/write the number of his depanadants on his letter of sponsorship. You can go ahead and submit your application. Make sure your main sponsor list out her own dependants on the letter of sponsorship and affidavit of support.
Alright, thanks so much for your time
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by DRiches: 6:49pm On May 07, 2018
@All, please, my co-sponsor didn’t mention in the sponsorship letter if he has dependant or not. I got the letter from him and he’s out of the country right now. It will be too late to wait for him to come back. What is a way out ??

Note that, my main sponsor can still change anything in her own letter content. I still have that Grace from her.

Is it really compulsory that your sponsor or co-sponsor must state their dependants in the sponsorship letter? I think all these questions will be asked during the online application? Are all people that got their visas approved really mention their dependants in the sponsorship letter?

@jnyuwa02
I need your contribution too. Thanks

Frankrobbn1:

DRiches,

You're not expected to do that on your SOP.
Your sponsor can equally mention the number of depanadants he/she has on the affidavit of support. In as much as this is a co-sponsor and not the main sponsor, you can go ahead and submit your application.
Thanks bro..

It is expected of your sponsor to declare the number of dependants he/she has on their letter of sponsorship, don't conceal it.
Hi Frank,

Thanks for your reply. My Co-Sponsor didn’t mention any of his dependant in the sponsorship letter he gave to me. Right now, he’s not around to give me another one, and am submitting my application in few days to this time. Please, can I address this in my LOE/SOP? By stating his dependants? Can this really work?

@ All, please I also need your suggestions on this.

And please, I really need someone to review my SOP too.

God bless you all
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by DRiches: 6:01am On Apr 14, 2018
Hello Gurus,

Please, is there any implication or whatsoever if your sponsor doesn’t declare h/her dependants?

As we all know that, your sponsor might have enough money a times, but much dependants might make the funds look inadequate and useless. More dependants, more money to be shown.

Hey bro
Congratulations on your visa approval.

Am a silent reader, but I just have to register in order to asking you a question because am more in the same situation as you were some months ago before you applied for your permit.

I could see that, you once had an hard time to provide documents to prove the source of income of your sponsors as you said your Dad's business is not registered. But there's CAC and other business documentation in the list of documents you said you submitted. Please, did your sponsor eventually got his business registered before you submitted? How did you do it?

Please, I would be very happy if you can enlighten me on this because am planning to submit my application, but this evidence of source of income is really giving me problem as I don't know if my sponsor can just get his business registered now because of this application. Will this be acceptable. Will I not be questioned that my sponsor business is a newly registered business because of visa application?

Your response will be highly appreciated, and it will help me and others in the same situation.

Thanks.
