I was lucky to attend Unilag during the four most peaceful period in the history of the school 2006-2010. Coincindentally there was no SUG during this period. Save for 3 months ASUU strike each in 2007 and 2009, there was no disruption in academic activities occassioned by student's restiveness. There was no SUG then and actually students were not bothered because there was no need for it. The school management did its best to make students comfortable and whenever they fell short, students just bear with them. There were periods during exam when therep is no light at night in the hostels and students who want to prepare for exams would take their books under the street lights to read. Whatever problem the school has is not a permanent problem. You have to dialogue with the management and give them time to look into it. They should proscribe SUG if that would bring back lasting peace in the school.

Back then in school, I was really loving one babe that had nothing to offer me, until i followed some of my guys to a club, where with less than 10k, i had all the fun with girls more pretty than that one. After that night, my mind really changed. When I was in the University, I developed the habit of saving my excess cash for small small business opportunities and before I graduated, I started lending money to my dad to pay my younger ones school fees, when the family was in difficult times. I could on my own do one or two things for the family, especially for my younger sisters. I rather invest in my younger ones than in one girl that doesn't care to know how I earned my money.
My younger ones and the entire family respect me a lot for this financial discipline.

Please spend less on her, but more on investments that will build your life and future.
