Vivianat: Aje ke lana, omo ku loni....... Burning of the market benefits one party more than the other.....to woo sympathy votes Read below what Igbos from Delta had warned. This is exactly what happened: Tuesday March 07, 2023 Association of Western Igbo Traders in Lagos Urgent Media Release IPOB INFILTRATION OF LAGOS: LET PEACE REIGN We write to alert the Police and the Lagos State Government about dangerous developments across Lagos. We warn that elements whose forebears spurred the Civil war are at it again, this time in a more dangerous, determined and vicious manner. We are compelled to inform the police and the LASG about the presence of IPOB SPECIAL SQUARD IN LAGOS led by one Nnamdi Okereke, a retired Soldier. We are in custody of information that this group has in the past two months brough dangerous weapons to Lagos hidden ij several market places in pursuance of the Biafra Agenda. The SQUARD has the mandate to attack Igbo markets and burn them. The strategy is to invoke sympathy for Igbo ahead of the election The mandate is to cause enough crisis and disaffection among Yoruba and Igbo with the hope that many Yoruba and Igbo will sympathise and vote for Labour Party which they seem to be supporting. The IPOB SPECIAL SQUARD are about 97 well trained men made up of some retired Igbo soldiers, civilians and retired police ratings who belong to the IPOB Western Command with its headquarters in Asaba. They also have designed to kill fellow unsuspecting Igbo ahead of the election in order to seek sympathy and portray the Igbo as being attacked by Yoruba. 15 major markets have been marked for attacks. They will also attack Yoruba markets leaving the impression that Igbos are fighting back to spur Yoruba into counter attacks. This is a plan to cause national crisis and scuttle the outcome of the last Presidential election while preventing or scuttling the Governorship election come Saturday. We have sought audience with the Lagos State Governor on two occasions without success hence our decision to make this public. We would have approached the police but we are not sure of who may be working as agents for IPOB. The grand design is to turn Lagos into turmoil and spur violence across Nigeria. This they assume will further the cause of Biafra agitation their canddiate having lost the Presidential election. We call on the Police, the Lagos State Government to live up to its responsibility by nipping this problem in the bud. We are Delta Igbo. Some of us have priviledge to attend some of the Igbo meetings. We do not belong to the mainstream Igbo. We are infact Western Igbo and part of the old Western Region Unfortunately, when there is any crisis, we are a major target since we are grouped together. We have passed on this vital information with the hope that drastic steps will be taken to forestall any major crisis ahead, during and after the Saturday election. Thank you. gidgiddy: So they called Lagos "No mans Land"? Everyone has freedom of speech, you are free to call their land the same
The constitution of Nigeria accords every Nigerian the right to reside anywhere in Nigeria, and exercise all legal rights as if he were an indigene of the area
As an Igbo man, you dont have more rights than me in Lagos or any part of Nigeria
I cannot be a 'visitor', 'guest' or 'migrant' in my own country. You cannot accomodate me in my own country.
You cannot deny me the right to vote for the candidate of my choice in Lagos or any part of Nigeria, or to run for any office of my choosing, anywhere in Nigeria
However, if you say Im a visitor in my own country, if you say Im a migrant in my own country and claim to be "accomodating" me in my country.............
Then it is not my country. Grant me a referendum so I can go my way, create my own seperate country so that next time you see me in your land, and you call me visitor, migrant, claim to be accommodating me and deny me the right to vote or be voted for, you will be right
You cannot choose which version of "one Nigeria" you want to practice, we are either one, or we are not Remove “Lagos” and insert “Anambra”. Tell me if thats true. |

Politics › Election Cancellation Impossible: See Why… by drlateef(op): 7:49pm On Mar 08, 2023 |
All LP and PDP including other parties senators and reps that collected their certificates from INEC without contesting the results of the election have made it impossible for any court of law to contemplate cancellation of this election. That’s apart from the massive evidence that the election was largely peaceful and orderly and rigging not widespread. For LP and PDP National Assembly members to accept the outcome of the election by collecting their certificates proves that the election was credible because their election was conducted wt same time using same accreditation and voting process. And Obi and Atiku had no objection to them collecting their certificates. The best Obi and Atiku can ask the court is to declare them winner, not to cancel and re-conduct the election. And even with that, the chances of upturning about 2 million votes for Atiku and about 3 million for Obi is almost impossible. A camel will easily pass through the eye of needle than for that to happen. |

Politics › Re: Opinion: Why I Believe Peter Obi Will Eventually Emerge President Of The New Nig by drlateef: 4:05pm On Mar 08, 2023 |
Djoel: With all respect to our various political interests and diversities, let us view these points with open minds.
1. Nigerians from across regions and religions have gotten tired of the worsening state of the nation and prayed earnestly to God for deliverance from the current crop of Nigeria politicians and political system. If this election doesn't produce the turnaround, people across religions will loose hope that there is any God and Nigeria is in big trouble as we are badly divided, our economy is in a sorry state...the woes are just too many
2. Peter Obi emerged less than 1 year ago. He did not only build on an unpopular party widely called structure-less and with few supporters widely denigrated as 4 people twitting in a room. Never in the history of Nigeria has even the best of alliances of major parties, even merger of CPC and ACN, ever created such a powerful 3rd Force movement from nothing. Today Labor Party with it's sold-out followers of PO called Obidients has became the party to beat. This is not the work of a mere man.
To further buttress this, this topic with link below, was created when Peter Obi declared, just less than 1 year ago! Over 90% of the the people that mocked him in that thread are Obidients today. https://www.nairaland.com/7045390/peter-obi-declares-intention-contest/11#120589626
3. I have keenly studied Peter Obi and came to a conclusion that the good qualities he exhibits are way beyond the capability or will of a man who just wants to do good. This man is being helped by God in answer to the prayers of Nigerians. - Talk about his energy, he campaigned like a super human, maintained his coherence, health and kept to incredible schedules as he zig-zagged across the Nation. He dispised the security advice against going to Borno State and was prepared to die there than not reach out to everything Nigerian across the 36 States.
- He doesn't seem to make mistakes. His character, how he has managed to shape the opinions of we very stubborn and opinionated Nigerians to build so much trust on him, is beyond the capacity of a man working hard on his goals.
- His wisdom and humility in managing relationships and difficult situations seem to have also helped him beat unforseen traps. He seems to have a way of making lemonades when thrown lemons. Hence he united all Nigerians without making enemies with any people group. Every one that insulted him he calls My Egbon. When labeled an actor, he accepts and rallies the Nollywood, telling them not to fail him by not voting him as a member of the Nollywood. Ha!
Pondering over these events, I am rest assured that when Peter Obi eventually reclaims his mandate, a new Nigeria will dawn upon all of us. All the people who misunderstood him or fought him for personal interest will embrace his leadership and support him. We will sing and dance with joy and our New Nigeria best depicted with the emage below emerges under The Deliverer - PO.
God bless His Excellency Peter Obi, the deliverer of Nigeria God bless the good and great people of Nigeria God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria. …,president of the new Biafra. Not Nigeria!!! “ |

ejifranks: We challenge you Reno and the APC to prove this allegation. Peter obi is already in court to prove he is the authentic winner of the elections so APC and Reno should do the same and stop all these rabble-rousing.
The revelations will be shocking. Hope Uzodimma, Umahi, and INEC will soon be exposed for what they did in Imo and Ebonyi. I am angry that you mentioned Hope Uzodinma. This is the APC lame duck who LP was rigging election in his backyard and against his party, and he did nothing. LP wrote 99% win for themselves in LGs where no elections were held. Obi will definitely waste his money and time at the tribunal. He will lose woefully once again. |

Politics › Re: BVAS: Why Osun Tribunal Judgement Will Effect Tinubu by drlateef: 10:54am On Mar 08, 2023 |
ubest1: Former Governor of Osun State, Gboyega Oyetola, and his party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), had faulted the declaration of the candidate of People Democratic Party (PDP), Ademola Adeleke, on 17th of July, 2022, by the electoral body as the winner of the July 16th governorship election in the state. In the judgement, Justice Terste Kume had held that the election was not held with the compliance of Nigeria’s electoral Act. The tribunal had ruled that there was over-voting during the off-cycle gubernatorial election and consequently nullified Adeleke’s election.
I still remembered how APC supporters celebrated this judgement, and today LP/APC has took APC to court for even worst presidential election and I ask APC supporters again what is different from both cases if we to be truthful to ourselves? Nothing different and yet, results are different. BVAS shows over-voting in Osun and if it shows over-voting anywhere, such results are cancelled at collation centre. Inability to Upload result is different from over-voting which can be easily assessed at polling unit level. |
Politics › Re: Fact Check: With BVAS Can You Write Results Where There Was No Election? by drlateef: 10:49am On Mar 08, 2023 |
9jatriot: One of the premise on which many are claiming that this election was fraudulent is to claim that results were written for areas where elections did not hold at all, I believe that is completely false.
With the use of BVAS, voters must be biometrically verified and accredited to vote. Now think about it, even if you hijack the BVAS and take it home, how many people can you accredit that will be enough to sufficiently enable you have a large number of voters that will make the effort worth it? So those saying that polling units were allocated results when elections did not hold are not saying the truth.
What you can accuse any party of doing is to manipulate the final result after voting not that voting did not hold at all.
Also, even when manipulating results, you always want to ensure that the total number allocated to all the parties is not more than the number of voters accredited with BVAS.
For example. let's assume polling unit 002, with registered voters of 150 but only 100 came up to vote and were verified with BVAS. That means that number of accredited voters will be 100.
Assume there were 3 contestant and the accredited voters voted for Candidate A with 25 votes, Candidate B with 55 votes and Candidate C with 20 votes. The total number of voters here is 100. The worse rigging that can be done in this instance is to redistribute the votes but the number of voters cannot exceed 100 otherwise all the votes from that unit can be cancelled if you allocate more than the votes accredited for that polling unit.
If it were possible to allocate more votes than accredited, you can be sure that Bornu, Kano and Kaduna would have produced far more votes than they did.
So, in a polling unit where elections did not hold, the number of accredited voters will be zero, so tell me how the votes can be allocated in such a case?
Final Verdict: Any polling unit where there was no election could not have votes allocated to them since the voters in those units could not have been accredited to vote. That’s simply bye-passing the BVAS. That’s why Labour Party should be ready for massive loss at the tribunal. Because all those votes will be cancelled by the time Tinubu team examines the machines. |

AlexBells: It been a while since after the election, despite the glaring evidences of electoral malpractices, Peter Obi has managed to calm his followers by insisting on due process as against violence or violent rhetoric, I can remember sometimes in the past when Buhari lost election and declared that baboons will be soaked in blood, it literally came to pass.
Yorubas are trying too hard to make the coming governorship election especially in Lagos a war, this won’t be the first time Igbos were threatened in Lagos, I can remember a certain Oba threatening Igbos with lagoon. My advice remains that those who live in glass house shouldn’t throw stones. Several people like myself did not know the LP governorship candidate until this bigotry started.
The Yorubas seem to have abandoned him since he is been a child, now that he has grown and running for governorship, you are treating him as if he has leprosy just because he has a bit of Igbo blood, what if after all he wins, would that justify any bad treatment you met on him, this tribalism has to end and if I’m in Lagos, I will vote for LP, if you can’t love your own son, tell me where is your so called accommodations and sophistication.
Lagos being no man’s land or not doesn’t change the fact that a boy you seemingly abandoned, has grown to want to run for office, this is an Avenue to warm up to him, if the argument is that Sanwo Olu needs to finish his second term then reach out to him and have a heart to heart talk, I urge all Igbo in Lagos, not to abandon our daughter’s son, even if he don’t win, give him enough vote that will make him and any of his enemies to know that he has people. Other Nigerians who stand by the oppressed should stand for him, this is getting too much for that lad to carry alone. Any igbo person that tries to rig election in Lagos will smell shit!!!😂😂😂 |

It is an understatement to say that the indigenous people of Lagos have been yearning to be free from Tinubu's strong grip of Lagos and they can't wait to take back their ancestral land from the Invaders from Iragbiji. It is only the corrupt Yorubas that are not even from Lagos State that are against the candidature of Rhodes Vivour the home boy. They are the same set of people that goes about spewing hateful and bigoted words against the innocent Rhodes Vivour just because his mother and wife are Igbos. They are quick to forget that Tinubu's wife is not even Yoruba. She is an Itsekiri woman. Seyi Tinubu's wife is Igbo from Anambra and does that make Seyi's children Omo ales? Even FFK's four sons were born by an Igbo woman and same FFK have the audacity to call Rhodes Vivour an Omo ale. What hypocrisy! All these doesn't matter because the real Indigenous people of Lagos has seen through their lies and knows that the Igbos doesn't have any sinister motive towards them rather they have seen that Igbos only wants to help them to take back their ancestral land through the ballot come this Saturday. Lagos must be FREE. Who these “real” indigenous people of Lagos? You must be a joker. Another season of lies by zombidiots has started. Readers beware: he is a liar!!! |
