But it was made known that those eligible for the post-utme should have the minimum cut-off mark .i.e. 180...why should she have written the exam when she got 174?

I think the confusion about admission rendered by JAMB will be settled when UNIPORT finally post the list in the viewing corner.Then everybody will know if he/her admission was genuinely basic or supplementary.If your name is found in the 2ndlist,you will know you have your course through sup.list and if your name is not there,then it was actually basic,and you did not actually got sup. Admission.

Notwithstanding,SmartKid,there is no hurry in life.Stop comparing your legs with a moving train or you better make yourself one.While the hurry to bank over in a private school.I advise you to get basic form sharp-sharp,settle your intentions and psychology to do it and you shall win.Basic prepares you for the system,its helps orient your mind about what the university system is all about.Before i entered basic,i was visioning all the time that the university was a mountains and only one person controls it.But when i entered my orientation changed,i began to see that the university wasn't actually a big mountain to cross but just a matured secondary school.That orientation that ''if it is not medicine i will not do anything'',also changed.I saw that every courses in the university is good,it all depends on how you packaged yourself.Inaddition to that,basics prepares you for even the JAMB,you may wish to write.When i was in basic,i never studied for JAMB,during the 3weeks of registration and writing of post-utme,i did not carry anybook to read.I was reading Chimamandas Adochie's book,HALF A YELLOW and PURPLE HIBISCUS and PHILOSOPHY of MR GREEN on ART OF WAR.I also read a couple of Chinua Achebe's books too.This was after the basic prog had ended.I did not study for post-utme,i knew that the kind of studies i did for basic was just enough.

If you can study very hard on your basic,guy forget post-utme...you will blast post-utme anyhow.But if you choose to do Basic,you must need the help of anyone that succeeded the programme to give you orientation on how to succeeded,because althrough my basic days,senior men were around orienting me on how to read,what to read and how to attend to question.I can bet myself that i follow these steps in a good percentage and here am I looking at a fullmoon.

Why must everybody starts praying for Smartkid,i also need prayers too.I need much to be prayed for than anyone!

The space of land covered by uniport is enough to contain 100 FirstBank branch you see in Choba...

Both run on different policies still...

Port harcourt (Rivers) was even made de world Book capital recently, U can nt count up 2 10 successful states in 9ja without includin Riv. Amaechi built standard state primary schl in evry L.g.a in Riv,i can go on nd on,i tink de N.U.C,JAMB and unis shuld sit down nd reconsider dis Elds stuff given 2 Riv,e no make sense 2 me.

You can't build a house and ask your wife,children,father and other relations to sleep day and night in your verandah,it's not fair!

If u check well in evry U.p admishun list atleast 40% candidates in it r 4rm Riv, because dey r de host state or an Elds,dis may encourage Laziness among Rivers students,cos rada dan working vry hard 2 gt vry excellent scores,dey will hav in dia mind dat even if dey hav lower scores dan dia oda counterparts 4rm oda states dey will still be choosen ova dem.

I agree with you,Rivers student are very lazy and dull,if not for that ELDS...guy forget,they don't deserve some place in all the list.Nearly all got poor score,and they were meritted as if they merit it.
