We don't even have good and sound local coaches to manage super eagles.

Equaevon is not supposed to mentioned at all but been that this indigenous coaches see the super eagles job as awolokan they'll keep been recycled. Just too unfortunate

How can we have sound coaches when don't we actively encourage people to become coaches. Most people know that coaching jobs will go to people like Salisu/Eguavon/Random foreigners so why bother?
Does NFF even have a plan for our local leagues? Where do they think they will find future coaches? Nigeria is an unserious country in general. There was a time in my life when I had hope, now I am indifferent because I have learnt that no matter how bad a situation is in Nigeria, it can always become worse. Somehow we are consistently able to go beyond rock bottom.

If Nigeria loses today, Peseiro will be sacked, Eguavon/Salisu will replace him, Nigeria will win a few games due to honeymoon/surprise factor and eventually start loosing again; Eguavon/Salisu will be fired and another random foreign coach hired without due diligence.
Some Nigerians will support the NFF whether they have a reasonable plan or not. These ones are in the same whatsapp group as those who proclaimed that they would vote Buhari out in 2019 if he did not perform, and those who fully expect that they will be able to vote Tinubu out if he does not perform.
The future is for those who plan and prepare, there is no accidental luck waiting around for anyone who is not willing to do the work.

Is it so hard for Plateau United to establish their own u-15 team? I remember last year, they also used an academy team to represent them..

I'm not sure what the details are, but they have some sort of agreement with Mees Palace Academy. Mees Palace runs a solid academy from U10 to U17 or so, perhaps Plateau United feel like they would be unable to match them in terms of recruitment, structure, etc. Many of our government owned clubs seem to be struggling in this regard.

We are facing the consequences in every sphere of our lives as a nation

It's very unfortunate, but I'm starting to agree that most of the time, a nation deserves the leaders she gets.

Why do we owe? If u are looking for coaches you can owe, don’t expect good results in the long run. Poor investment gives you poor returns.

We owe because we are greedy and shortsighted. We know we won't face consequences when we find someone who is willing to let us get away with it, so we do just that.
This is not specific to football. Government and private corporations are also guilty. Many Nigerians know that they can get away with this sort of behavior by bribing someone else. Police, members of your own ethnic group, random people etc. Few people face consequences here.
Many people are shortsighted too. We care more about our image than doing the hard work. That's why The NFF is always looking for yes men.
Anyway, let me not bore you with an essay. We all know that most of our problems in this country (including football problems) are self inflicted.

You didn’t say hire a low quality foreign coach (the next step). then we do the cycle again.

How many quality coaches can you owe for that long? One or two months is one thing, anything more than that is suspicious.

World cup without Nigeria...so so so painful

What were we going there to do playing like this anyway? Congrats to Ghana, they clearly wanted it more.
Next step is to hire a foreign coach that we can owe salary, fire him because another minister of sports does not like him, and replace him with another local coach/ex player.

At the end of the day , those of us who saw the nothingness in Rohr are finally proven right!

I mostly watched the ball in parts and I was a bit impressed because the players wore a new air of confidence and lethality.

I was actually impressed by Ndidi and Ekong. Simon Moses didn't have a bad game , either.

The substitution make perfect sense and we can only hope for the best.

Finally cheesy

God always answers, one way or another,
even when people don't recognize his presence. "In a dream, for instance, a vision at night, when men and women are deep in sleep, fast asleep in their beds— God opens their ears and impresses them with warnings
To turn them back from something bad they're planning, from some reckless choice
— Job 33:14-18 MSG

I'm glad others have in their sincerity giving you counsel. I'd just like to add this, given that even after this case you're still going to have to "find" a wife.
Colossians 3:15 admonishes that we let the peace of God be an umpire in our heart. In times like this (times of make or marr decision) I spend my time away from "other voices" (Media, other people etc) and search my heart, waiting and testing each opinions that come from it with the scriptures. The spirit of man is the candle of God, searching the depths of him (his soul)

Truly, counsel in the heart of man is like deep well but a man of understanding will draw it out. Wise opinions (even from hallowed people) may not be wisdom that is profitable to you. Let the peace of God be your referee even more than all the dreams, opinions and counsels you have received.

Here's my 2kobo. I hope it meets you well.

Please what version is this? I really like the wording.
