I refuse to to get carried away that Trump is a monster as the democrats made some people to believe. He presents himself as a monster. Not anyone. All he said is in record. Those were not even quoted words but heard from his mouths. In any case, he can't even push through a third of his campaign pledges. He has already started to backtrack from his promise to repeal Obamacare. |

I care less about what happens in America. However, when he said he would repeal Obamacare on day one of taking office, why didn't the dumb Americans ask "then what next?" Before Obamacare, many Americans were without any health insurance. It was Obamacare that gave those ones some lifeline. And someone says he will repeal it straightaway because of high cost?
Well, he has realized it's not just possible. |
Politics › Re: Is Donald Trump Going Back On His Promise? by DropShot: 7:20am On Nov 12, 2016 |
I said it before. Let me look for the post. Here: DropShot: Most of what Trump said during campaign are just idealism. Not pragmatism.
Soon, he will be humbled when he realizes that certain things can't just happen no matter how hard you try. He has to operate within the dictates of the Constitution and not much can be done outside it.
On the international front, he will also realize that he has to protect certain interests against his wish in return for other advantages elsewhere. For example, he doesn't want USA to continue to support NATO without those NATO countries paying for the cost of such protection. But withdrawing such support gives Russia more power and influence in Europe and other regions which ultimately makes Russia become more powerful, influential and domineering in world affairs.
Suddenly, he will realize he cannot afford to play a second fiddle to Russia since America still wants the bragging right as the most powerful nation on earth. Russia understands his naivety and it's the reason Putin prefers him being a complete novice in the power play.
The reality will hit him sooner than later. This is just the beginning. |

He will remain there until he is sentenced. Life sentence is more than enough. No need death. Well, Trump might invade Nigeria to release Kanu from prison. |

okosodo: I have all the reasons to believe that this is a witch-hunt and propaganda against jonathan and those that served in his administration since the money has been accounted for and they are still holding him after the court granted him bail. This is inspite of the high-profiled corruption going on today and no arrest whatsoever. The effect of this is the weakening and raping of institutions that are in place to fight corruption, people will no longer have confidence in them
Did you in anyway benefit from the slush fund? Or you think because Dasuki has said he gave so so and so persons money, he should just be released? Guy, this case is our signature case in our fight against corruption. It's the worst type of corruption to rock the country given that a lot of innocent lives were lost (still being lost) because of deliberate acts of omission and commission of Dasuki and his useless comrades in looting. Besides, Dasuki is being legally held by the govt. One of three courts where his charges were being heard granted him bail. Two didn't. So wtf? |

fulaniHERDSman: Ofcourse, he is not as sillly as patience I think he is as silly as Patience by making that statement to defend Dasuki. That statement alone could result in him being invited for questioning in a normal setting but because of how ours is screwed by ethnic coloration. The dumbo says he didn't "think Dasuki stole $2.1bn arms fund" while he was president but he's refusing to stand as a witness for Dasuki to get him off hook? Why won't he just shut his clueless mouth and let the case progress naturally? |

Aufbauh: Even though Jona is clueless he is not that dumb to stand as a trial witness for Da$uki. But he is dumb enough to put himself in a position to be asked to stand as witness by saying he didn't think Dasuki stole $2.1bn. Btw, has anyone even said Dasuki stole $2.1 bn? The case bothers on mismanagement of the arms fund by looting substantial part of it. And one would expect a president who was supposed to prevent such mismanagement to shut up in the face of revelations we're now hearing on daily basis. The Ineffectual Buffoon is very dumb. |

They mocked trump and mocked ipod for supporting trump. Their biggest scholar was so sure of clinton that he promised to tear his green card if trump won.
