In a criminally lopsided assembly inundated by Northerners? It was done ab initio.

There must be another means.
You mean the other means is bombing of oil facilities and destruction of your land?

Please carry on.

A very big fat lie. The oil belongs to the local people, not any thieving and irresponsible federal government that has been deploying the people's resources to build far away lands in Abuja and beyond.

This criminal arrangement will never bring peace and development to Nigeria.
As things stand, the crude oil found in anywhere in Nigeria is Nigeria's. Anyone who isn't happy with the current arrangement should do the needful through their elected reps to cause a change.

Very nice. Soon the locals will do with their oil whatever they deem fit. We need to use our resources to rapidly develop our region before it's of little relevance.
It's Nigeria oil. However, the country is ready to move on without it if the militants are bent on fruatrating the govt. But that doesn't mean any other body, apart from the FG will ever be able to do as they wish there. It will remain Nigeria's oil till thy kingdom cometh.
Politics › Re: Just In: Heavy Explosion Rocks Spdc Trunk Line In Delta by DropShot: 7:41am On Aug 04, 2016
No problems.

Only 30% of our earnings in June came from crude sale.

Very soon we will depend less and less on crude oil from Niger Delta region as a nation. And the criminals will also be brought to justice one way or tge other.

Seen!

I'm only here to read how Ugandans from Nigeria's "Evil Axis" condemn PMB/EFCC for probing these looters with excuse "why don't EFCC probe APC's campaign fund?" as if what the agency is probing is party's campaign fund and not money criminally taken from our treasury.

I keep wondering why some of our brothers/sisters from Evil Axis find it very convenient supporting and defending anyone linked to corruption/graft irrespective of the person's region, tribe and religion?

From a Yoruba Saraki to a Fulani Dasuki, from a Kanuri Dogara to an Ijaw Akpobolokemi, from a Hausa Bafarawa to a Bini Dokpesi, it's same for them.

Even when the Yorubas, Hausas, Fulanis, Ijaws, Binis and other immediate constituents of those alleged looters condemn these people's actions, you can be assured that the Ugandans will lend their voice of support.

May Chukwu okike abiama help deliver them from their weird ways!

Community policing/security is the most effective way to tackle crime.

You guys don't get it it's not because the economy is bad I criticize Buhari it's because of his lack of vision and a road map . Two years into his govt he has been able to communicate either in words or action exactly where his lackadaisical govt is headed ..Ambode is being hailed not because he has turned Lagos to London but he is hailed just because in his actions and word he has clearly communicated that Lagos is I the hands of a visionary leader ,a leader that means well and that's purposeful ...See I campaigned heavily and voted for Buhari but by his 7 month I knew he had nothing to offer ..even if Buhari is taken to Sweden he will destroy their economy . We are all alive Mark my words even after 8 years Buhari will achieve nothing but we certainly will vote him out in 2019
The emboldened gives you away as someone not worth discussing with. No reasonable person will engage in any meaningful discussion with anyone who doesn't know that May 29, 2015 to August 2, 2016 is only three days above 14 months AND NOT 2 YEARS.

This man is finally using his real common sense!

Many enemies of PMB and Nigeria had thought making distracting noise will deter PMB in his resolve to fight corruption but they've been humbled by the president's determination to march on.

Those with Buhari on his mission to cleanse Nigeria of graft and restore normalcy are more than the wailers. WE ARE SOLIDLY BEHIND HIM.

IPOB miscreants will descend on Ben Bruce very soon.

Revelation? It's looking like a one man mopol thing here. Jibrin has been going about on his own since. And we shouldn't be happy with the presidency for the revelation. Jibrin is to thank for that. The reaction from the presidency is what we are expecting now.
So it's inly now that Jubrin is talking you're getting to know the budget was padded?

I wonder where you were when PMB insisted certain elements that found their ways into the budget must be removed. The only thing Jibrin's action is telling us is WHO DID WHAT. Not that padding was done because we already knew that long before now.

The Lagos state inherited by Ambode was far ahead of the Nigeria inherited by PMB.

As at when PMB came in, the FG was already borrowing to pay its workers while Lagos could even afford to pay its workers without govt allocation.

Stop being economical with the truth.

So 14months is enof 2 judge Gov. Ambode, but not enof 2 judge BUharihuh

The Devil is in awe of APC Nigeria
Both did not start from similar positions.

Ambode inherited an already working state, a state where accountability and performance have been long entrenched since the time of Tinubu.

PMB on the other hand inherited a very badly damaged, hemorrhaging economy from PDP, an economy where looting and wastage were the order of the day.

Surely, the damage done by PDP cannot be repaired in one or two years. It's common sense.
Politics › Re: Padded Budget: PDP & Jibrin's Revelations by DropShot: 6:15am On Aug 02, 2016
Nonsense from PDP as usual.

Do they think we don't know budget padding is as old as our democracy?

Didn't we read severally how OBJ and his ministers used to bribe the NASS to pass budget after executive padding?

Didn't we read how budget figures increased astronomically overnight after padding by NASS?

That we now officially know about budget padding is credit to PMB. His insisting to vet the budget before signing into law is commendable because those thieves at NASS would have had their ways as usual.

Nobody is stoping igbo's from being a president,if igbo field a presidential candidate come 2019,if he his capable I wud vote for him ahead of a northerner am not tribalistic.igbo's just need to get mature nd stop being emotional, they shud stop feeling everybody in nigeria owes them.they should stop hating all other tribe in nigeria, hate can't take them nowhere, they shoild learn to work with other major tribe in nigeria either yoruba or hausa nd stop being hateful
OP, this post says it all.

If not for hate and victim mentality plus lack of unified position of the Igbo race, they would have produced the president in 2015.

Had Igbo decided to abandon PDP in 2007 when PDP/OBJ pushed forward Yar'Adua/GEJ and support Buhari/Ezeoke, it will have been easy for PMB to pass the baton to an Igbo president in 2015.

But because of hatred for anything Buhari and ANPP then, the Igbo race shot itself on the foot.

As things stand, the earliest time we can have an Igbo president is after 2023 and that is IF the region plays smart politics by aligning with PMB/APC so that after PMB in 2023, a legitimate and valid case can be made for an Igbo candidate then.

Looking at how Igbo is playing its politics again by aligning massively with PDP that has zoned the president to the north in 2019, they're making another huge mistake. Assuming PDP even wins in 2019, it means the earliest time for an Igbo president is 2027. And assuming APC wins in 2019 without the support of Igbos, then the case becomes worse as they can't fight for APC ticket in 2023.

How and why it's so difficult for the Igbo race to apply tact and wisdome to politics is absurd.
