Rubbish decision by the club
I see Madrid regretting this
Madrid never regrets sacking an underperforming coach. They rather become much better. Go and ask Rafa Benitez whom Zidane took over from and led Madrid to 3 successive champions league trophy. Or ask Julen lopetegui who Zidane took over from and led Madrid to Spanish league titles and cups. Madrid has zero tolerance for underperformance and that's why that club has performed greatly well over the years. Alonso really lowered that standard. In fact I'm surprised he's been sacked now. He should have been sacked long ago

I've been a long time real Madrid fan but under xabi Alonso they're really painful to watch. I can't remember the last time I watched a full Madrid game because Madrid have become a shadow of themselves under Alonso. The earlier he's sacked the better for the team

They know Fubara is guilty, hence why they are running all over the place. The legitimacy of the lawmakers has been settled by the Supreme Court. Any useless judge that entertains such a matter should be punished by the NJC.

As for impeachment, no court can stop the legislature from performing this constitutional duty.

Fubara knows he has committed impeachable offences, hence his attempt to stall the process. This was why he bombed the Assembly building the last time with fellow terrorists like Edison Ehie.

The impeachment process must go on. Our laws must be obeyed. Fubara should resign or be impeached.

Fubara is a despot - The Supreme Court
A joke taken too far - The Court of Appeal
A tyrant - The Federal High Court
If we're following your warped reasoning, what about the deputy governor? On what grounds exactly is she being impeached too? Even a fool can read the devilish ulterior motives of the assembly and you're here mumuishly defending rubbish.
FoodRe: Cost Of 1kg Chicken In Nigeria Vs Other Countries by drstranged: 7:45pm On Jan 09
anonimi:
Does it mean that we are suffering from double jeopardy huh

Costly things while having a horribly low minimum wage?

Should we add income disparity to the mix?
It's because of this income disparity that you now need a leveller which is the minimum wage per hour, per week or per month (which ever duration you choose). The minimum wage decides what the lowest working class of the citizens would get per hour or month etc. This is between $1,160-$2,704 per month in US depending on state (that is equivalent of about 1.7 million naira to 4 million naira per month minimum wage in US). (Minimum wage per hour in US is between $7.25 to $17.5 per hour or $290 to $780 per week depending on the state, but no state is below $7.25). Now compare this to Nigeria's #80,000 per month minimum wage. You'd see that 1kg of Chicken in the US is way cheaper for it's citizens compared to 1kg of Chicken in Nigeria.

Below is a list of how much 1kg fresh whole chicken cost in other countries vs the cost in Nigeria.

Source

Insight: Despite having the lowest minimum wage among these nations, Nigeria has the highest cost of chicken—more than double the price in Thailand and significantly higher than in the USA.

Do you still think it's cheaper to live in Nigeria?
I always say this... when you make cost comparisons amongst countries, place it side by side with the minimum wage per hour or month. If you do that, you'd see that of the US is cheapest. That for Nigeria is the most expensive.

At 45 a man has already passed his natural sexual prime. What is nonsensical about that? It is nonsensical for you to interpret that to mean a man can no longer have sex after 45 ..he becomes impotent. A man can become impotent even in his 20's ... age is not the only factor that affects one's sexual performance and can lead to impotence. So if he the husband ...this particular man is not performing.... we know he's 45 .... for sure ...age is a factor ...not the factor ...but a factor. ...lower testosterone level. Alcohol is likely another factor ...not necessarily. His mindset can be major...even in a young healthy man. If the fear factor pops up mentally.... it can shut down his ability to perform. She already told him he's not moving the needle ... even if he ha something in store for her...the thought of not moving the needle will shut it down. Bottom line .... at 45 ...a man has passed his peak period .
So what is the definition of sexual peak? What age is sexual peak? What studies have you carried out to prove it? What scientific evidence do you have to prove what you're saying? Fyi, when you dole out statements matter of factly, always back them up with scientific evidence/data or studies that were carried out to prove it's validity, or show you're an authority in that field. That's how intelligent people talk. Anything outside that is just pure market women talk. It's very easy for anyone from any planet to make a statement or assertion no matter how sensible or non sensical it might be. When someone who's into health talks-someone who daily sees patients of different ages and sexes with these particular problems that the OP highlighted, you should know that person is talking from a position of authority on that subject, not just market woman talk. Please it's not a crime to be enlightened.

Before accusing others of posting rubbish.... what have you with medical knowledge posted? Just look at the bolded. Don't you know many guys not yet 40 are impotent? ... dead? ... with almost zero possiblity of ever being resurrected?

An empty barrel makes the most noise
The point is, your comment makes his sexual inactivity purely age related which is completely nonsensical for a healthy 45yrold man! You talk like the moment a man hits 45yrs, he's no longer sexually fit and becomes sexually incompatible with a woman of 25yrs which is complete balderdash and only proves sheer ignorance on your part. Even a 50yrold is still sexually fit and might perform way better sexually than a 35 or 40yrold man depending on several factors. The above man's problems are obviously multifactorial including heavy alcohol intake, lack of exercise, stress related (he's probably hustling too much to make ends meet) etc but certainly not his age. And like someone rightly pointed out, when you get married, over time sex no longer becomes a priority because other factors like the kids etc come into the picture. The woman's problem is obviously not the sex. She just feels she is missing out on the best funs of her youth and needs that freedom outside marriage like her unmarried peers

Hmmm .... good to reach out for advice from a wide field. Consider these.

We're you sexually active before you married? If yes .... then you were used to a certain level and frequency and intensity and size penis when it comes to sex. This level will be expected in marriage...period. if he did not have the same size tool .... that's a problem. Because of the age difference....he may be able to keep up with it in the beginning,.. and even using sex enhancers to boost his performance. That is no longer as effective after a time and naturally he had already passed his sexual prime even at the time of marriage. But now you're in your prime... you are cooking. Why wouldn't you be frustrated?

He already knows he's no longer able to put in the work....but for you to tell him that he is not satisfying you ...at all? .... that's like a major insult. To claim he is not doing anything about it...is another insult. It is in the DNA of man to spare no effort in having his tool working well. Maybe he went too far in making it work to satisfy you that has lead to him being pretty much impotent. To a man...being impotent is like losing his soul ....what else is there to live for? ...and he begins to exist ..not survive ...exist. Gambling and alcoholism are his escape routes. Both addictions ...both require money ...money from you first to feed the addiction.
.
My advice.... show that you are interested in him sexually ... find other ways to make him at least try to satisfy you ... this will bring back some measure of sexual confidence in himself ... let him kno he's doing better when he's not on alcohol .... and tell him he ehmmm ....sucks when he is on ...and you'll have to pull the plug. Hopefully ... he'll try to become the man he once was and get off of gambling to hold on to you. BTW....did he do any tests for infection?...any tests for high blood sugar? ...did he take COVID-19 shot?....for any if these can affect performance.
Some of you just post rubbish without proper medical knowledge. How is a 45yrold man sexually incapable? A 45yrold man is still very much sexually fit. Like previous writers commented, his sexual performance is obviously being hampered by risk factors especially the heavy drinking. Even a 25yrold guy who drinks heavily would experience same problem. Curtailing these and indulging in proper healthy lifestyle is the key.
RomanceRe: My Marriage Is Falling Apart Please I Need Urgent Advice by drstranged: 10:16pm On Jan 07
cloud:
There's no reason to suggest why a 45 year old man cannot satisfy you sexually. The only reason his level of sexual activity is impaired is cause of his alcoholic addiction and lack of exercise. Secondly, you need to stop comparing yourself to your single friends which is why you feel the need to leave your marriage to explore uncharted territory. No marriage is complete and every relationship has it's challenges. Would you rather be in a marriage where finance is not an issue but you get physically abused? So rather than nag, look for constructive ways to make him change, such as showing him more love and support, proferring viable financial advice, encouraging him to reduce his alcoholic intake and exercising. If you like, continue to listen to your single friends, it's only a matter of time before you use your hand to spoil your home.

But watching that match yesterday I was so disappointed with lookman. That guy is extremely selfish and tries to put his personal shine above team work. I watched how his team mates were clear on goal but yet he chose to dribble and Nigeria eventually lost scoring opportunities and such attitude from lookman gave the chance for the opponents to recover their backline. So I perfectly understand osimhen's outburst. I was equally so pissed. The coach needs to talk to lookman. Like someone pointed out, I really hope such selfish play wouldn't be our undoing because our real test in the competition actually begins from the next match in quarter finals

Oil shouldn't even be driving our economy. Once again Trump is never sincere about tackling anything for you. He is looking for countries with resources to control.
Venezuela
Nigeria
Canada
Greenland
Iran and even Ukraine.
All those countries are in his radar and they are all rich in resources.
That should tell you something.
No problem let him still come and take it all; I haven't benefitted from so called oil. If my govt can't yield the benefits of crude oil to it's citizens but only steal it to themselves, then let's hand it over to a foreigner. Let no Nigerian benefit from it.

Trump is not coming to help you. He just made it clear that we went to Venezuela for oil. He was similarly looking for rare earth minerals in Nigeria. All the talk of Christian genocide is a ruse.
Question is, how much have you as a Nigerian benefitted from the so called oil being run by your govt? So even if Trump is coming for the oil, at least it'd still make no difference because the citizens haven't really enjoyed the benefits of having that same oil. The same govt you're defending are the ones taking and keeping the oil benefits to themselves and cronies while taxing the hell out of you.
At least insecurity stuff would be tackled if Trump comes.
PoliticsRe: Why Nigerians Seeking Trump’s Protection Should Rethink – Lai Olurode by drstranged: 1:57pm On Jan 05
This man is very dumb. How much has the average Nigerian benefitted from the so called oil? It's only being looted by corrupt politicians. So Trump coming to take over oil that the ordinary citizens are not benefitting from is not a loss. Infact we stand more to gain because at least the insecurity which the incompetent jihadists govt can't tackle would be taken care of and there's also a better possibility that Trump would at least make the citizens benefit from the oil than left with the incompetent govt. Even if Trump still doesn't make the citizens benefit from the oil, it'd still make no difference because the citizens are still not enjoying the oil money. But at least we'd be satisfied this incompetent jihadist govt would be removed and insecurity tackled.

Nigeria is borrowing because our revenue depend on oil and oil prices have been very low for over a decade.

And also because ten million pay tax in a country of over 200 million people

That's the main reason why we borrow. And why tinubu is failing us by not diversifying income streams

Subsidy removal was because subsidy was eating most of our available revenue. It was not meant to increase overall revenue
You have still not made the point. Buhari didn't remove subsidy but yet still didn't borrow in his whole tenure as much as Tinubu has borrowed in his three years in office. Despite still paying for subsidy Nigerians were better off with buhari than they are right now. It stands to reason that if subsidy is removed there'd be more money available (in trillions per month), and the standards of living of ordinary citizens would improve because these now available money should expectedly be channeled into improving the economy. But yet, the economy is worse off than when subsidy was still in place. Average spending power of a citizen has dropped significantly compared to when buhari was in power
and subsidy was in place. So please don't give excuses for failures. Even a fool knows that the subsidy money is being looted brazenly by Tinubu and his cronies that's why he has to keep borrowing to cover up the deficit left by the looted subsidy monies. It goes without saying. And don't bring up the oil price logic because that's the same format or dumb excuses buhari sold to Nigerians as to why he couldn't perform as much as Jonathan did. Oil prices in Tinubu's tenure is way better than what obtained in buhari's time, so that shouldn't even be a factor to bring in!
EducationRe: University Of Gambia Renames Faculty After Akinwumi Adesina by drstranged: 10:45am On Jan 05
nairalanda1:
If they appointed Adesina as president, he would do more than remove subsides on petrol, even subsidies on electiricty would go AND there would be massive cuts in the civil service and an even wider ranging tax law , more wide ranging than tinubu's own, and also cashless policy would be ruthlessly ensured. And nothing like cheap universites again...and absolute meritrocracy would be introduced...and it won't just be hausas affected by the way.

Something you should realize about Adeshina and Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala is that they are proper economists, not politicans. And proper economists take hard decisions most people don't like. If GEJ had followed Adeshina, NOI and SLS to the letter in 2012, by now you would be calling them wicked and evil people.
Yes Adesina would have done that but improved the standards of living of Nigerians. You see Nigerians don't have an issue with subsidy removal but what the money realized from it is used for. This would have been the difference between Adesina and Tinubu. While Tinubu loots the subsidy money and shares amongst his cronies, Adesina would have channeled this to the economy and improved standard of living. Today in Nigeria, even with subsidy removal govt still borrows endlessly, even way more than what buhari borrowed (mind you, under buhari subsidy was still in place yet he didn't borrow as much as Tinubu is doing today). This should tell you that subsidy money is being relooted. Same applies to the issue of taxation. Once the citizens can feel the benefits of these stuffs, they would support it wholeheartedly. So the issue is not about subsidy removal or taxation, but about how such monies are used, which is where Adesina would outclass Tinubu.

This is why it is good to at least have a President with a little bit of intelligent, Tinubu would be cooling off in US Jail cell now if he had mistakenly implicated himself that he supported Christian genocide in Nigeria and Nigeria would be experiencing more crisis.

Venezuela military have better assets than Nigeria forces, they have F16 fighter jets and S300 air defense system that Nigeria can only dream of still it only took 2 hours for US Delta Force to captured Maduro.
You think Trump is done with Nigeria yet? Israel is even coming into the picture. Trump is only focusing on one issue at a time. Now Venezuela has been handled he'd turn to Nigeria. Maybe you probably didn't know that Trump had initially planned this Venezuela attack for Christmas but Intel from Israeli mossad told him of devastating imminent strikes on Nigerian churches and Christians on Christmas day orchestrated by jihadists from sokoto. Based on that Intel, he suspended Venezuela attacks and temporarily focused on Nigerian to at least halt the islamists before he now refocuses on Venezuela. That's what prompted the Christmas day bombing from Trump. And that's why you've recently seen netanyahu talk about the situation in Nigeria. Something is cooking for Nigeria, wait for it.

RomanceCan A Girl Ever Truly Forget The Guy She Lost Her Virginity To? by drstranged(op): 12:51pm On Jan 03
I’ve been thinking about something and I’d like honest opinions, especially from ladies and men with real-life experience.

There’s this popular belief that a girl never truly forgets the guy she lost her virginity to — that no matter how many relationships she has later, that first sexual experience leaves a permanent emotional mark.

But here’s where it gets confusing:

What if the guy she lost her virginity to wasn’t her first relationship?
What if he was her second or even third boyfriend, while the first relationship never became sexual?
So my questions are:
First, is emotional attachment usually stronger to the first sexual partner, or to the first serious relationship, even if that relationship did not involve sex?

Second, does losing one’s virginity automatically create a deeper or more unforgettable bond than a relationship built on love and emotional connection without sex?

Third, can a woman completely move on from the man she lost her virginity to, especially if that relationship later failed or ended badly?

Finally, in real life, which tends to leave a longer-lasting emotional imprint: first love or first sex?

Ladies, feel free to share your honest experiences.
Guys, what have you observed?
