This Congolese are way way better and more technical than Nigeria. They string good and accurate passes and attack much better. They also pose better threat at goal than Nigeria

I think these ladies are largely responsible for most of their predicaments. I remember what a friend narrated to me. There was this girl in med school he approached and ask out. He had just finished NYSC and was preparing for his residency training back then. She was 23 years then, in her penultimate year. Omo, the way the girl embarrassed him, I really felt bad for him. The girl kept harping it into his head that she was still too young to be in such a thing and used derogatory words that indirectly labelled him as too old for her and said she was still a baby lol. He was only 27 years then. And this was the attitude she put up with a lot of guys that approached her then, very decent, hard working and bright guys. Now fast forward 8 years, she is now in her 30s, still single and now preaches feminism. The last time I came across her instagram post, i could feel the bitterness and frustration in her words at being single at such age, being covered up by raw feminism posts. She prides in being single at that age but even a fool could easily decode the deep sadness and regret in her words. I remembered what she did to the guys that approached her during her prime and I absolutely felt no pity for her.

One of the reality about life is , you can't have it all at the same time. At 30 as a lady, if you are a career lady, getting married at that age might be too early if you don't want to loose focus.

At that age, you can't do because of society pressure or expectations and get marry to a wrong guy. Happiness should be part of the love map in any relationship.

At 30, as a lady you must have been financial independent, if you found the right guy, no issue in getting married, but not financial stable, it means you are going into the marriage as a liability. And if wrong guy, just pray you won't be turned into a punching bag

This is also where most ladies get it wrong. The primary duty of a woman (if she would ever think of getting married and having a family in future) is to her family (husband and kids). Career and financial stability should be a secondary factor for a woman because it is the duty of the man to provide for his family. So when a woman makes her career her primary focus, she sacrifices the chances of having a family. Even such women, when they get married, their marriages suffer to the point of divorce because they put their careers ahead of their family, even while the man is primarily fending for the home. And to worsen matters for single career women at 30s, the proportion of single men in their 30s and 40s available to these women are very few. Most men in their 30s and 40s are either married or in a serious relationship. Also, as women get older, they lose physical attraction they used to have in their 20s, and most men run away from women in their 30s due to concerns of fertility, tons of emotional baggages they carry (these women would have likely experienced multiple men etc and carry bad history). An emotionally damaged woman is toxic and can never change except via divine intervention. These women fail to use their prime years (early to mid 20s) to hook up and settle down with decent guys that approach them. They can hook up the right guys at their prime this while still pursuing their careers, as long as these guys are supportive. So like a poster earlier said, I too don't pity these single ladies in their 30s. Its largely due to poor decision and judgement.

I usually laugh when I read them talking about choosing a man when they're ready as if they can just pluck the man like a fruit whenever they want.

Honestly, I don't pity any 30s plus ladies who is not married because in most cases they wasted opportunities nature presented to them when they were younger. You'll see a girl having different men asking for their hands in marriage while they suffer these men. Then once they turn 30s they start going to Shilo and disturbing God. However, at such older age, women are highly undesirable to men and any man who marries such ladies is at risk of inheriting the burdens of infertility and having to go from place to place in search of children. He might even be wrongly accused of being responsible for the infertility!

Many of these ladies don't know that ladies as they age they become less desirable to men. Smart ladies understand this fact and capitalise on their beauty to hook up their men latest in their 25s while the unthinking ones would be busy dating and comparing different men until time is no longer on their sides. Then when they discover that they're no longer desirable to men they start getting bitter and trying to get younger girls to delay marriage so that they can become as miserable as they are. You know the saying that miserable loves company.

A man would approach a lady in her mid 20s, ignite a relationship. Not only igniting a relationship but, giving the said lady an "I will marry you" vibe, and because women are very emotional, they'll stick with this said man and before you know it... Boom!! 💥 The lady has clocked 30+.

Oga no like her again. There is this fresh 20+ lady that oga is laying ambush for. The 20+ lady has a firmer skin, perky breasts, outward innocence etc but to get this new girl, oga has to get rid of the already 30+ lady.

Once the now 30+ lady has been evicted from oga's heart, with her hope of oga marrying her smashed to the ground. Already devastated and sad, not knowing that , there is more devastation and sadness lurking around the corner.

Time passes, oga is now with a 20+ lady, and 30+ is now on her own.

She grabs her phone and opens an Internet app only to see that, she and her ilks are now labelled as Evening Newspaper (ENP), wh*re, h0e, etc by men. That is a severe case of devastation.

She was only a victim of a man's bosheit. A victim of hit and run by a man's vehicle.

I don't completely agree with you. A lady in her mid 20's would know within 1 year of dating a guy what his priorities for the relationship are, except she does not ask practical questions. How can she be in a relationship with a guy for five years and they haven't done anything serious over her head? It's ultimately her fault for not walking away within the first 1-2 years when she knew the relationship was heading nowhere.

A smarter/intelligent lady would know how to approach and intellectually adapt based on the individual and situation she's dealing with. Intellectual adaptability is a key sign of intelligence.

You're talking like it was easy for the man Ambode. He faced outright impeachment from the house of assembly if he contemplated that move and that would have been a worse outcome for him because not only would he be barred from contesting future elections, all the benefits due to a governor after office would have eluded him. Tinubu strongly controlled the house of assembly. So in the end, he probably took the best decision, living to fight another day. And don't forget that Buhari then couldn't even save him from Tinubu. So it wasn't that straight forward for Ambode

A married woman frolicking with another man while treating you as thrash has no other definition than marital infidelity and this is a strong grounds for divorce. Pregnancy hormones can't drive a woman to such an extent of cheating on her husband. Even if it did, infidelity is infidelity and must be treated as such, no excuses. Never forgive a cheating woman. You'd regret it

My advice is to send her away and later do DNA on the child. If it's yours, take care your child, though I doubt that child is yours if what you have narrated is true. But her frolocking secretly with another man is enough grounds for divorce. Your life might even be in danger. Once a woman's heart is with someone else she can kill you to have her way with that man. That's how fish brained that gender is. Like most persons have suggested, send her back to her parents house. You can delay divorce until the child is born. Do DNA and whichever way it goes, still push for the divorce. The DNA is only to confirm if the child is yours. If it's yours, then be a part of that child's life by taking care of it. But on no condition should you take her back. Women, once they have gone down that line of cheating, can never change. They might pretend to have repented and changed, but that is only to buy time and re-strategize. And her comeback might certainly be disastrous for you. Never forgive cheating or the semblance of it. Majority of Northerners are apólógists of Bóko Haram. Reason why, Buhari declared that "an Attack on Boko Haram is an Attack on the North".

Some Nigerians in the United Kingdom have decried increased revocation of their countrymen’s visas after spouses report them to the authorities over disagreements.

Couples who left Nigeria for the UK in search of greener pastures are said to be capitalising on previous offences to haunt their spouses.

Women, in particular, are accused of reporting their dependent husbands and fiancés to the British Home Office to terminate their visas.

Many of such women have, however, cited repeated domestic abuse for their actions.
Though not a new phenomenon, a former president of the Nigerian community in the UK, Benjamin Kuti, also known as Oluomo of Derby, said there had been a surge in recent times.

According to him, the abnormalities are so common now that the stories of the cancellation of partners’ visas come out weekly.

The former leader enjoined people engaging in such to have a rethink, describing such an act as “pure wickedness.”
"I just need to rant about something that’s becoming way too common in the Nigerian community, and honestly, it needs to stop.
Every other week, we’re hearing stories of people cancelling their partner’s visa just because the relationship ended. Like, why? Yes, things may not have worked out. Yes, emotions are high, but destroying someone’s life out of spite? That’s pure wickedness. Remember the good times. Remember that this person once meant something to you. Reporting them to the Home Office or revoking their stay isn’t justice, it’s cruelty. We need to do better as a community. Kuti added the screenshot of a message he claimed was received from the Home Office by a victim.
The message read, “Your permission to stay in the United Kingdom as a dependant on the Skilled Worker Route has been cancelled, so that it now ends on 3rd January 2026. What this means for you.
"You still have permission until 3rd January 2026, and the current conditions of your stay will continue to apply until then. Please ensure…”

A legal practitioner, Dele Olawanle, described the situation as an “epidemic.”

“You don’t want to know what I deal with on a daily basis. It has become an epidemic even when they have children together. Apart from that, they are also calling the police on themselves and trying to get the other person a criminal record. It is so sad,” Olawanle said.
An influencer, Agba Jon Doe, claimed a woman dumped her man after he spent nearly N19m to bring her to the UK.

He wrote, “10,000 pounds is almost N19m. That’s what a man spent on his wife to bring her to the UK. This is plus the wedding expenses and other bills. She forgot about all those sacrifices. She didn’t even want to stay in the marriage to support him and his health. All gone down the drain.”
Many community members also testified that partners were orchestrating prison terms for those with whom they once exchanged marital vows.

A career adviser, Osinachi Nuel, wrote, “A lot happening and not making it to the media sha. Some dey prison sef and their partners dey code am. I know of 2 cases, and they keep lying that their partners are away from the UK. I think it’s okay to part ways and not reporting them to the Home Office.”

Corroborating this, one Uchenna Da, said he was a victim.
"I have had my own share of this cruelty! I don’t even wish it for my enemy. Got ynacked off! But God said No! I pray God comes through for men/women in this situation. Bitterness Kills,” he wrote.
Several others also shared their experiences, with one Samuel Ojukwu, saying Nigerian couples “fight dirty when things fail.”
"Everyone is looking for a way to implicit pain on the other. Sad reality.”

You're talking thrash. For your info, right now Nigeria trades more with the Chinese than even the US. Even Nigeria's new "crude oil", the lithium processing plants are being handled by the Chinese. Nigeria snubbed the US and gave the contract to the Chinese. So the Chinese have more to lose than the US. But like other commentators have rightly pointed out, the only thing the Chinese and Russians would do if the US invades, which these countries typically do with other countries they trade with, is to issue press statements condemning the invasion and it ends there. They don't have the balls to directly confront the US. Taiwan is a typical example. The Russians are already engaged in a war with Ukraine and they won't stupidly involve themselves in Nigeria's wars if it were to occur.
