Kobojunkie:We're basically saying the same thing. Or you just writing for writing sake? My point isn't about the north vs south divide but that in the end, it's still same poor masses that will suffer it, and not the politicians (whether they be north or south). |
My issue with these policies is that it's still same citizens and common man, including Christian citizens, that will suffer it, not the politicians and government officials. The government politicians that abet these killings really don't need these aid monies because they have other means of siphoning monies from sources other than US aids. I expected that the US would rather have come up with policies that will directly target these politicians and government officials who aid these killings including use of military force and actions. Suspending aid would not even move or affect the government one bit and to me, is a very very ineffective approach |
Omoawoke:Your understanding of karma is terrible. You can't say karma will visit a man who chooses to use his OWN money as he deems fit. If a man decides he doesn't want to give out something that belongs to him, how should he be attacked for that? You can only talk of karma visiting the guy if the money belonged to the girl and he denied her access to her own money. I really don't understand why a lot of you Nigerian s reason so emotionally that you throw logic away! If that man raped that girl then he should face the consequences. But don't attack him and curse him just because he decided to set his own conditions on how to spend his OWN money on other people, whether they're very poor or not. He's not the only Nigerian man alive. If the girl doesn't like his conditions she can simply say no and approach another man willing to help her without setting conditions. But don't attack a man for deciding how to use or give out what completely belongs to him. It's completely within his right to do with his property as he deems fit. |
Omoawoke:Are you kidding me 😂😂😂 Oga you don't understand the definition of rape. You don't even understand what vulnerability in the context of rape is. You can't class an adult female willing to trade her body in return for money she desperately needs for something as vulnerable. That is now classed as a business deal or transaction not vulnerability! Out of all the millions of men she can approach why would she choose him. If she asks him for money and he requests for sex, she has every right to reject his offer and move on to someone capable of granting her wishes without requesting for sex. It's his money and he can choose to negotiate how to give out his money as he deems fit just as he can do business with it. If we're following your logic, then it means every man that pays a prostitute in the brothel to sleep with her has committed rape. Because prostitutes have dire needs that's why they're into it in the first place. Now to educate you. A vulnerable individual is one who is under normal circumstances incapable of giving consent for sex irrespective of age. For instance, a mentally deranged individual or an individual under the influence of alcohol or drugs etc. |
TotoSuckker:Correction, they bleeped each other. Sex is a mutual thing, not something the lady gives the man. In fact if we're to be practical, it's the guy who gives the lady sex. She enjoys sex more than the guy (the guy really only enjoys it when he's reaching orgasm but she enjoys it from start to finish), and also the guy does most of the work while she most times just lies down. So I don't understand what people mean when they use the word "she gave him her body" or "she gave him sex". It shows pure lack of understanding of the concept. |
Procashtips:You have made The whole point there "Messi is NOT ALL ABOUT GOALS". This is what makes him head and shoulders above the others |
I don't understand what you mean by the Argentine peso is now worthless. The peso has remained relatively stable to the USD for over 1 year at 1 USD to between 1,300 and 1,470 pesos. Currently it is trading at 1 USD to 1,470 pesos. On the contrary, your naira trades at around the same to the dollar at 1 USD to 1,400 naira. So I really don't understand what you mean by peso has crashed. Always do your research before posting crap Here. I'm surprised the mods even posted this rubbish as front page. For your info, as we speak the naira has experienced more crash fall compared to the peso. And as someone rightly pointed out, the Argentine economy is doing a thousand times better than Nigeria. Don't display your ignorance because it makes you sound extremely stupid |
Though I supported other players before the start of the world cup, but it has undoubtedly been Lionel Messi. He single handedly qualified Argentina through group stage scoring all their goals except 1 and has also carried this team through consistently up to this point. He single handedly won them that game against Egypt scoring one and giving the assist that won the game. Was also brilliant against Cape Verde. To me, he is undoubtedly the best in the tournament so far. Some others like mbappe would come close but it's Messi for me. |
Under the current structure of Nigeria? It is future tense impossible |
Mrexcell:Who says he's a good goalkeeper? If you understand football well, you'd know this guy Nwabali has a very poor sense of judgement on the pitch. He's just overrated. In fact he's one of the worst goal keepers that have manned the goal posts for Nigeria. The fact that no club, not even lowly rated clubs, wants to sign him proves all that. After this goalkeeper who had leukaemia and retired early (the one who took over from Vincent Enyeama), Nigeria has never had any goalkeeper. We've just been lucky to escape maulings since then. |
emoneyrano:Gbam! You summarized the game well |
Legitbeauru:Exactly my point! |
Proper management is the key word! It's not difficult to build a skyscraper structure and call it a hospital. What matters is equipping it properly and maintaining those equipment over time, as well as employing competent health care workers, and paying them well. That is what will decide the quality of care any patient will receive, not the building itself. As such, I want to see pics and videos of the equipment and facilities INSIDE the hospital as well as the cadre and type of staff employed to keep it running, and the long term plan to sustain these factors I just listed above. That is what will tell me whether this project is worth it or not. |
Were they really expecting to defeat Colombia? This Colombia side is one I feel would go far in this tournament. They've been one of the few impressive attacking sides. I was surprised Ghana even conceded just one goal. He should thank God |
Meritjoshua:It's better to experience relationship when you're mature and ready for it so that even if it goes sour it won't affect you that much. Imagine if you invest your emotions into this relationship while you're still in school and it ends badly (which would definitely happen based on statistics), you'd become emotionally affected and that will extend to your academics and damage your future generally. You can keep female friends but don't invest yourself emotionally until you're mature enough to handle a relationship which would be when you're established as a man. See understand that the prime of a man is much older than that of a woman. So if you're still in school you should understand that you haven't reached your prime yet while the lady in question has already reached hers and even ready for marriage. So it creates an unbalanced equation between you and her. Focus on achieving your goals and when you hit your prime, trust me it's even the girls that'd be chasing you. You'd now be at liberty to pick whichever one fits your criteria for a relationship. |
The more important thing is Nigeria's porous borders especially around the northern axis. This Sahel issue wouldn't have come to this level if border control was tight around these areas. So it's not surprising that any issues of terrorism within the Sahel spills uncontrollably into Nigeria. And then the issue of complicity within the military hierarchy is also worsening this. Such a shame we have such clueless government in. place! |
mightyleks:Yes, there's no big deal in that. Countries would start respecting us the moment our government takes the welfare of it's citizens seriously. That's why US citizens are respected internationally. Because countries know that the US government will be willing to go to war for a single citizen of theirs |
ridwintin89:What do you mean Nigerians are liabilities to them? A lot of Nigerians legally own big and thriving businesses in South Africa which even employ and feed a lot of South Africans. Don't use the bad eggs there to generalise for every Nigerian living there. Even the South African companies here in Nigeria are defrauding Nigerians in their own ways. That's also fraud. So if we're looking at bad eggs it goes both ways. The Nigerian government is just disappointing. They can nationalize these countries since that's what the stupid South Africans want |
I don't know why the Nigerian government cowardly allows this kind of shit from South Africa! Imagine these guys humiliating your citizens and even going as far as destroying their businesses and yet you allow South African companies remain in Nigeria and even extort Nigerians! That's why even the South African govt still spits in our faces because they know we have a stupid govt that will tolerate it. Can they do this to Americans under Donald Trump? The reason they disrespect us so much is because the Nigerian government doesn't value it's citizens and they know this well. Under Abacha this kind of nonsense would never have happened |
Richtaiwo:You don't get it. What makes the South African xenophobia outrageous is the fact that they target only Africans but are afraid of doing same to people of white skin. They're cowards and afraid of running same riot on the white guys that enslaved and killed them for years and who are still doing so. |
DatNiggaDaz:😂😂😂😂 This Jezebel pic from my book of Bible stories made me laugh so hard |
It's very simple...marry a woman who loves you more than you love her! The moment you love a woman more than she loves you, then you'd have serious problems eventually |
A flyover of less than100 to 200metres is what is being celebrated? Who did this to Nigerians! I've been through this flyover several times and it's the worst I've plied on. I'm quite surprised and embarrassed that someone is posting this as an achievement |
Where is mummy GO? I haven't heard about her in a while https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QKXO8j8FpLY?si=p8aqm09RZ7vY6ayf
|
PheelzAlmighty:exactly! This guy has never impressed me one bit! |
RandDigital:She has a point on the kidnapping of the school children. Nigerians are just too docile. If such kidnapping happened in other countries, their citizens would have flooded Abuja by now and removed tinubu from power for his ineptitude. |
Question is, did he pay bride price or not? Marriage has already taken place once bride price is paid. The whole wedding stuff in church is just a celebration of the marriage that has already taken place. So technically she's still his wife unless of course he returned her bride price to her parents. |
onehope:Prof Chike is Wike's cousin as a matter of fact |
whatmoreng:I can assure you that even if Obi fails next year, he'd definitely deputize Kwankwaso in 2031. Either candidate is presidential material. That's Kwankwaso's game. So either of them wouldn't lose |
Isn't it this same man who expressed open hatred for the Igbos? I'm not surprised at this statement |
The Governing Council of the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) has approved the appointment of Princewill Chike as the institution’s 10th vice-chancellor.https://www.premiumtimesng.com/regional/south-south-regional/885413-uniport-gets-new-vice-chancellor.html

dominique:First, of what use is a friendly to Nigeria at this stage when we're not in any major competition, world cup inclusive. Secondly, hosting comes with a lot of financial responsibilities, logistics and all. I don't think a country like Nigeria should think about throwing millions of dollars into hosting a friendly that won't benefit them when there are millions of Nigerians languishing in dire poverty. That's my personal opinion though. In fact, this friendly match doesn't even tickle my fancy or interest one bit. |
