Hello Charlie, the 'Nwata Miss' crooner. I've been following the recent turns of events over a couple of weeks now in the country and I can visibly observe that you are very eager and more than willing to speak for the common man out of free will and concern. But my question is that can you take a bullet for the sake of speaking for the common man and not just the superficial tag of being a social activist. Without mincing words, you are a privileged member of the society(the haves) going by your history from 1951 through your glorious 80's till this day. Are you ready to go down the path of Beeko Kuti, Gani Fawehinmi, Tai Solarin, Fela Kuti? Remember that the demons that these people fought against on behalf of the people (obasanjo, ibb, abacha, buhari and so on) are still in power today enjoying life while these great men are dissolving away in their deep graves. Even for Abacha who is dead, his family are now living well and far well to do than the families of those great human right activists who took it upon themselves to fight and die for the common man(the have-nots of the society). They might have left us now,but their stories inspire and rekindle hope in the struggle of today's Nigeria's common man(the have-nots of the society). Dear Charly, are you ready to go down this path of struggle for the common man, leaving your privileged position behind, probably dying untimely while the people you fight against and their generations unborn continue to enjoy our looted commonwealth. This is the path of the fighter of the people(the common man). We have seen many other social activists (keyboard Fingers) recently on the Internet, also celebrities like Tuface Idibia and others like Sowore of Sahara reporters coming out. The big question is that are you all willing to leave your comfort and privileged position behind and fight for the good of the common man even if it means going to prison or losing your life untimely? Until then, don't be surprised that the common people are not taking you too seriously. Don't be surprised that people are lukewarm towards celebrities calling for protest. The Oppressed Nigerian common man of today is looking for a leader like Moses to lead them out of this Egypt of their time but they are yet to see one. Not Charly,Not Sowore,Not Fayose,Not Tuface who are not ready to leave their comfort zone, lead the masses and even pay the ULTIMATE PRICE for it if the need arises. Thanks Charly. Yours Truly, Dr. Sugar. A Fan and a concerned Nigerian. NB: The frustration and perceived oppression of common/ordinary Nigerians today is more than that of Egypt in the Bible and the Political Class of the day are just so insensitive just like pharaoh of Egypt of those days. The people are just looking for a Moses to lead them out right now and they'll follow. Waiting for that Moses. |

We know some won't be out for health reasons, far location, fear of persecution or outside the country and so on. Here is an opportunity to lend your voice to that of other citizens who are on the streets speaking peacefully and constructively directly to our Government anywhere you are, even if you are OUTSIDE THE COUNTRY. Simple steps: 1.) Get a big cardboard, A4 Paper, foolscap sheet or anything you can lay your hands upon. 2.) Inscribe your message for the protest boldly on the paper/cardboard. 3.) Take a selfie or group Picture with your phone and post online, Facebook, instagram, twitter, nairaland e.t.c. with hash tags #Feb6protestNGR #IStandWithNigeria #EnoughIsEnough e.t.c. Very simple steps. If the government succeeds in suppressing this protest, it'll set a precedent from more citizens suppression in the future. #peacefulProtestIsMyRight #enoughIsenough #IstandWithNigeria #FewhoursTotheProtest. #Feb6protestNGR #onePresident#twoTerms#twoRecessions KEEP SHARING THIS MESSAGE TO INFORM MORE CITIZENS. IT'S OUR DUTY TO SPEAK UP NOW.

Washington (CNN) — Eminem truly is not afraid to take a stand . The Detroit rapper is unleashing on President Donald Trump in a profanity-laced verse on "No Favors" -- a song off fellow Detroit rapper Big Sean's "I Decided" album, which is out Friday. "I'm anti, can't no government handle a commando/ Your man don't want it, Trump's a b**** I'll make his whole brand go under," Eminem raps on the impassioned track that touches on issues like police brutality, the Flint water crisis, racism in America. This latest attack comes as activists and artists in the hip-hop community are gearing up for an uphill political battle against the Trump administration, including Sen. Jeff Sessions, who some worry could be detrimental for criminal justice reform if he is confirmed as the next attorney general. The White House did not immediately respond to a message seeking comment. Eminem, who is no stranger to political discourse, also slammed Trump in October in "Campaign Speech" — an explosive eight-minute freestyle, where the rapper shares passionate political commentary about the 2016 election and slams Trump supporters: "But you should be afraid of this dang candidate/ You say Trump don't kiss a** like a puppet/ 'Cause he runs his campaign with his own cash for the fundin' and that's what you wanted / A f***** loose cannon who's blunt with his hand on the button/ Who doesn't have to answer to no one." Eminem's diss was part of a larger trend in 2016, where hip-hop turned on Trump after nearly three decades of idolizing his wealth and power in hundreds of lyrics. http://edition.cnn.com/2017/02/03/politics/eminem-donald-trump/ |

Buhari is not a magician, I know. He came in 1984 and there was recession. He came in 2015 and now we are in recession. Was it GEJ that caused the '84 recession too? This has never happened anywhere else in the world.before? #twoTerms #twoRecessions. Never before anywhere in the world. Are we a cursed country to be suffering under this man and be silent? #twoTerms #twoRecessions #onePresident If You see Nigeria as your personal company with Buhari running it twice like this, would you not have sacked him or at least protest if you cannot sack him? #Feb6protestNGR Offline or Online, Diaspora or in Naija,#WeMustProtest #peacefulProtestIsOurRight #twoTerms #twoRecessions #onePresident |

Contrary to news circulating the online-sphere that Femi Kuti blasted The planned Enough is Enough Citizen's voice protest slated for 6th of February and being selflessly supported by TuBaba, this was what he had to tweet in response. Please Let's beware of the oppressors of the people who are against this protest, not Tuface. EVEN IF TUFACE HAS SOMETHING TO GAIN FROM THE PROTEST (no evidence yet), the suffering masses have much more to gain/message to pass across to the sleeping politicians through this protest biko.

Smart guy. He stood up to the powers that be and he's now a recognized authority. What the likes of Adeboye, kumuyi, Chris oyakhilome should have done. |
Everybody has asked that question at one point or the other in their lifetime. The concept of God. Who is God? Where is he staying? How does he look like? Some go further to ask, who created God? And some who are really very inquisitive ask, 'What is God'? Any answer or explanation to this questions are never true because the questions are only based off the limits of human knowledge and imagination. Expecting that God must be staying somewhere, he asks 'where does he stay' and he's told 'heaven'. Expecting that God must be an individual like him with one head, two hands and two legs, he asks 'who is God and how does he look like'.. Expecting that everything must have a beginning, he asks 'who created God'. He forgets that a CIRCLE doesn't have a beginning neither does it have an end. Various Secret Societies including the freemason, Vatican, odd brothers fraternities and so on have answers to these questions but the knowledge are only accessible through rituals performance by initiates. Even though I might not be able to give you answers to these questions on this platform, let me diffuse some of your misconceptions about God. 1. God is not an Old white man sitting on a big throne somewhere in the sky. 2. They is a limit to which man can comprehend about God just the same ways ants can never comprehend the glory of human beings or even our existence. So don't bother to ask about the origin of God, it doesn't have an answer that you can understand. 3. All publicly available religious books are products of enlightened brothers using words and parables that the common man can understand. Do not take them literally. For example, that God created the heavens and the earth in 6 days and rested on the seventh doesn't directly mean that. It has deeper meanings. 4. It's beneficial to have a religion of choice. It doesn't matter what you believe, but believe in something. Join us for more enlightenment - Freemason Nigeria |
Some things man cannot know. Some questions better left unanswered. This is one of them. Was just puffing my kush and thought about this.. that 'Is it possible that our almighty God/Allah/Buhhda e.t.c. that we worship also has Another God that he worships too? |
PUSH1:Use your common sense now. I'm just expressing my constitutional right of free expression under our 1999 constitution. |
jogojogo:Lol. It's just common sense that I use. You won't understand. |
silversonuc:Idiot.. were you in this country in 2010? |
Adminisher:You are a foolish person. |
In fact I can say I'm '100%' sure something is wrong with our dear president right now, just don't know how bad it is. It might be something he's going to recover from and come back after the vacation or they extend the vacation. It might also be even worse. But reading from events, something is wrong. I've predicted many things on Nairaland including the crash of MMM and election of Donald Trump even before they happened using common sense. https://www.nairaland.com/3452814/nairalander-challenges-tb-joshuas-prediction https://www.nairaland.com/3441750/history-mmm-crash-someday-nobody This is another common sense prediction. No ill wish towards my president ooh, just an opinion |
People don dey talk about buhari, make me self talk my own. I'm 99% sure something is wrong with Buhari. I don't know exactly what is wrong with my dear lovely president Buhari right now but I'm 99.9% sure that something is definitely wrong. It might not be as bad as it's been rumoured and it might be worse, I dunno. One thing I'm just 99.9% sure of is that something is wrong. I'll love to be optimistic anyway and hoping to see my dear president back in the country soon so that Nigeria can move forward. This is my theory why I think something is wrong. Look at all the pictures being released to show that all is well. The same PR team releasing these pictures can as well release a 30seconds video even recorded with a phone of the president smiling and wishing Nigerians hello from is sitting room or dinning table. Just 30seconds. Why stressing yourself to tweet just one picture as seen on PMB's twitter when you can as well tweet a 30seconds video and everywhere will be calm afterwards. Something is wrong. Those pictures to me look like pictures that have been taken before and kept for some PRs like this in the future. Another theory could be that the president's team wants to see how her enemies would react, there by intentionally sowing a seed of confusion about the state of PMB's Health, otherwise there are many ways to clear the air on this issue. I love Naija and no ill wish for our president ooh, JUST MY OPINION since everybody dey talk their own.

Freeze is throwing shades at Adeboye, Oyedepo, and kumuyi I guess.. Or am I the only one thinking like that. |

“They’re sneaky, dirty rats,” Trump told Fox News's Sean Hannity in an interview airing Thursday night. "These are bad people.” “They blow people up in a shopping center, and they blow people up in a church,” Trump added of the radical Islamic terrorist group. "[They] are sick and demented, and we’re going to win.” “We have evil that lurks around the corner without the uniforms,” he said. "The people we’re going against, they don’t wear uniforms.” “When you’re fighting Germany and they had their uniforms and you’re fighting Japan and they had their uniforms and they had their flags on the plane and the whole thing — we are fighting sneaky rats right now, ” Trump added, referencing World War II. Trump vowed during his inaugural speech last week that the U.S. would spearhead efforts to eliminate radical Islamic terrorism. “We will reinforce old alliances and form new ones — and unite the civilized world against radical Islamic terrorism, which we will eradicate completely from the face of the Earth, ” he said during his Jan. 20 address. http://thehill.com/homenews/administration/316326-trump-isis-sneaky-dirty-rats |
Trump exclusively told "World News Tonight" anchor David Muir during an interview at the White House."we're not playing on an even field." "When they're chopping off the heads of our people and other people. When they're chopping off the heads of people because they happen to be a Christian in the Middle East, when ISIS is doing things that nobody has ever heard of since medieval times, would I feel strongly about waterboarding(a form of torturing) ? As far as I'm concerned, we have to fight fire with fire," he said. http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/president-trump-tells-abc-news-david-muir-absolutely/story?id=45045055 |
