A dossier, compiled by a person who has claimed to be a former British intelligence official, alleges Russia has compromising information on Trump.
Among these compromising information is that of graphic claims of sexual acts said to have been carried out in Russia and documented by the Russians.

Paragraph 3 of the intelligence report shockingly states:

"However, there were other aspect of TRUMP's engagement with the Russians authorities. One which had borne fruit for them was to exploit TRUMP's personal obsession and sexual perversion in other to obtain suitable 'Kompromat' (compromising material). The hotel was known to be under FSB (Russian intelligence agency) control then with microphones and concealed cameras all in the main rooms to record anything they wanted. "

I've been following the Zuckerberg atheism 'disclaimer' Facebook post and the comments Nairalanders have been making.
Since I am a seasoned nairalander myself, I feel I should just share this secret about life, humanity and God with those who care and can spare their time to read through briefly.

Your understanding of the Universe, the concept of God and the meaning of life should be kept personal most of the time. It's usually a waste of time to discuss it with others, except in few instances. You might be surprised to know that your pastor, imam or religious leader of any sort has another concept of the universe, life and God which is different from what he/she preaches to the general congregation. So what, surprised? Then it means you don't understand life. Always keep it personal. I'm sure that's the wisdom Zuckerberg is using and why he responded that way. You won't be surprised to know that the sultan of sokoto might not believe in a paradise after death made of gold streets with virgins to sleep with like most Muslims believe. You won't be surprised to know that the Pope in Vatican might not even believe that there is an heaven that is geographically above and a hell is below like most Christians believe. Even in the minds of so called great imams and pastors like the revered Pastor E.A Adeboye, they have personal understandings and convictions about the universe, life and God that are literally not in keeping with what they preach publicly.
This is the same wisdom that Zuckerberg has tapped into.
You can also tap into in so that you can benefit from the power of organised religion like all these great men are benefitting from.
KEEP IT PERSONAL FOR YOUR PERSONAL ENLIGHTENMENT.

It's well. Some people are also doing well in medical practice here in Nigeria.
It's the same formula for success in every field. Your career choice doesn't guarantee the kind of big success that your are looking for. We have medical doctors that are failures and furniture makers that are multi millionaires and successful. We also have medical doctors that are extremely successful multi millionaires with medical practice alone.
A transient dissatisfaction with your career choice doesn't mean you need to change. What if you get into the management consultancy and it's starts looking different from what you thought it was. I'm sure we have people who are failures in management consultancy too.
I can't tell you what to do but you need to look inwards into yourself more than you are looking outwards toward your profession. My 2cents advice to you.

Years ago on Cape Cod, my kids and I stumbled across a man who had spent the day creating a sand sculpture of a mermaid. It was an impressive piece of art.
“How long did it take you to make it?” we asked. While I can’t recall his precise words, the response was something like “25 years and 7 hours.” I’m sure my astute readers will get his point.

We are transfixed watching Olympic athletes performing in Rio. So much depends upon their brief routines which can last seconds to a few minutes. While a diver’s acrobatic plunge may take 2 seconds, it would not be fair to leave aside the years of work and training that prepared the athlete for this moment.

The same point can be made for anyone who has worked and trained hard to reach a point where the action performed seems easy to a spectator or a customer. If an attorney prepares estate documents, we can assume that the fee for this reflects the prior training and research that the lawyer has done on this issue, as it should. If an appliance repairman, by virtue of his expertise, fixed our ailing washing machine in 5 minutes and charged us $100, should we balk at this price gouging?
If a less skilled competitor spent 2 hours before finding and correcting the glitch, would we feel better about handing over $100? Is this fair? A musician doesn’t just wake up one morning and hop onto a stage to give a concert. When we pay to listen to an artist perform for 2 hours, we are likely listening to the product of years of grinding work, disappointment, innovation and discovery.

What’s a fair price for an hour of Aretha?
I believe that this same principle applies to my own profession. Over the years I have heard patients complain about various medical charges and fees. While we all know that there have been excesses, many of their gripes are misplaced, in my view. It’s not fair to equate the medical fee with the time that the physician expended on providing your care. A cardiac bypass operation takes just a few hours. A colonoscopy takes 10 minutes. Treating a patient in an emergency room with a drug overdose may take just a few hours. A psychiatrist might guide a suicidal patient to choose another path in half an hour. A spine injection to relieve chronic pain takes only a few minutes. A dermatologist recognizes a suspicious lesion in a few seconds. A seasoned surgeon tells an anxious patient after a 20-minute consultation that surgery is not necessary.

Often, folks who make is all look easy are fooling us. If we think it’s as easy as it looks, then we’re the fools.

Just experienced a scenario yesterday's evening and wondering what would I have done if I was in that person's position.
So I ask...
What would you have done if while disagreeing with your elder brother in the presence of your wife, children, in-laws and friends, he suddenly gives you a very dirty slap not minding you are around 40 years of age and he says how dare you argue with me in front of your wife ?

The problem with MMM is not the media and government, not Mavrodi himself or the participants of MMM but HUMAN NATURE.

...But can you believe MMM has just started running again in Kenya and Ghana right now and Mavrodi is still Smiling to the bank? You keep wondering why MMM keeps attracting people to it despite its flaws.

On the Wikipedia page captured below, the first line describes Mavrodi as a convicted Russian criminal. I begin to wonder to myself how anyone can trust this type of convicted person with a financial investment.

He is someone to be described as an intelligent criminal who understands human nature, a world class psychological hustler.

He understands that no matter how much evidence there is to the contrary, greed and self interest would always dictate first for a natural human mind.
Anyway, that was how our ancestors survived in the jungle.

Even those who didn't participate in the MMM scheme can't deny that they were envious of those getting rewards from it at one point or the other while it was running.
This is human nature and believe me, if MMM comes back to Nigeria again in 5 years time, thousands of people would still participate.

HUMAN NATURE = GREED + SELF INTEREST. The same attributes we abuse our leaders of having is what we have shown by participating in MMM.

P.S. : Not Anti - MMM. This is just a discussion to reflect on our values as a society based on recent happenings and how we can be better off it.

If you don't get your expected blessings after paying your tithes for a long time, can you request for a withdrawal of your tithe from your church?

Why Pastors Are Similar To The Top Guiders Of MMM

MMM and the Christian tithing system are very comparable.

The pastors are similar to the top guiders of MMM in many ways.

1. They make the rules about money donations by members just like mavrodi

2. They decide where and how to spend this money and who to take or use what, not God just like mavrodi

3. The profits made from the investments of this money donated by members are regarded as personal profits as is the case of covenant university and many others like that. This is similar to what MMM top guiders were doing with other people's money before it crashed.

4. Financially, they benefit more from member's donations than the actual people donating.

5. They keep on telling their people to keep donating even if they don't get any tangible thing in return. They say keep having endless faith.

6. When something bad eventually happens to money donors, they absolve themselves of all responsibilities despite being the greatest beneficiaries of the donations just like Chuddy Uborji and friends and friends are doing now.

7. They blame eventual problems on lack of faith by the donors of offerings and tithes, or call it the will of God just like Mavrodi blaming it on people GHing too much and the media and government.

These are just a few similarities between pastors and top MMM guiders.

The only difference in that the MMM of pastors doesn't crash unlike that of Mavrodi.
