Christianity EtcRe: I Didn't Ask Christians To Kill Muslims - Apostle Johnson Suleman by drsugar: 8:16am On Jan 26, 2017
What suleiman has done by his speech is worth a million dollars for the Christians and other potential victims of the fulanis.

Call it a hate speech but the message is clear. STOP KILLING US.

He has not even started killing and the dss are already all over.

I am 100% in support of the speech. It's called psychological war.. when you are confronting a Wolf, you don't behave like a sheep or else you will always be a prey. You must act like a Wolf too, even if you are not going to kill eventually.

At least the predators got the message.

If you are a common Nigerian and a potential prey, I don't see any reason why you shouldn't support this. This includes Muslims too because they have also been victims

He's fighting a psychological war for Christians against their perceived oppressor. Freeze doesn't understand psychology. When you are threatened and you fail to speak, it would only get worse.
Imagine if he had allowed himself to be arrested by Dss altruistically.... he might never come out whole from their office, they will just tell him to sign a paper under duress before release.

Freeze should also know better that governance is a social contract/agreement between the government and the people they govern. If the government and law enforcement fail the people, the people also have a right to break the social contract and take laws into their hands too. #PoliticalScience101

Ph D holder with progressive mind my foot;the only success he has is to start recession before he handed over power in May 2015, according to data from National bureau of statistics. And in his hypocrisy and cowardice, he called his own recession economic crunch to deceive Nigerians.
Mr. Michoim, Why don't you forget about who started the recession and think about who made it worse, persistent, yet to find a solution to it and not likely to find a solution anytime soon from the look of things. That's how a youthful mind should think... progressively.
We voted for him so that things can get better, not for excuses.

If you are a paid online government political hack, it's better you go back and deliver the message to your boss. People are already losing interest in Buhari.
By now, he should have declared a state of emergency on our economy... It will only get worse if it continues like this and it's gradually becoming unbearable for people.

We need to chart a new path in this country.. Economically, Politically, socially, philosophically. Otherwise, we are going no where. If Buhari runs for second term, Nigeria with get to a point of no return.

PoliticsRe: Calling A Nationwide Protest: Is Nigeria Mature For It? by drsugar:
What our politicians don't realise is that their power and position is useless if their people are suffering. The nations in First world look at our leaders like morons. They allow other already developed countries to exploit our resources in return for only their personal gain and interests while their own people remain in poverty and disease.

In the next 150 years if Nigeria still remains one, what legacy of achievement would people like OBJ, GEJ,PMB,IBB,SHAGARI and so on be remembered for... that they enriched their families and generations unborn with money of the state and plunged their people into more sufferings, poverty and diseases. WHAT A SHAME!

PoliticsMr. Fayemi, stop whinning too. Nigeria Owes her youths one very important thing. by drsugar(op):
Reading through the comments section on a thread earlier. A lot of Nigerian youths supported Mr Fayemi for opening his mouth wide and submitting that Nigeria owes her youths nothing for them to succeed and thrive in this country.
What about an opportunity to survive and succeed?
What about an enabling environment for their success?

Poor Educational system, failed Financial market regulations and policies, health and social security, protection against criminal elements, poor infrastructure to support manufacturing (e.g. Electricity), rigging of the employment system against those with good qualifications but without connections.

The problem with Nigerian youth is not all their fault at all.

In a country where hard work and good deeds are no longer rewarded but you see criminals and drug dealers being celebrated on national TV, vagabonds and touts with nothing to offer holding high political offices without any sense of responsibility or remorse that the people they claim to represent, who also voted for them are wallowing in abject poverty and disease.

The system has failed the youths of today, it's not their fault but that of failed leadership.
A lot of Nigerian youths are smarter than those incompetent politicians in power.

PoliticsFirst Massive Nationwide Protests To Hold On The 5th Of February, 2017. by drsugar(op):
FIRST MASSIVE NATIONWIDE PROTESTS ON THE 5TH OF FEBRUARY, 2017.

A call for good governance.

A call for urgent explanation into the reckless economic downturn nationwide.

A call for nationwide protests as we say No to the Executive, No to legislatures, No to judiciary... You have all failed us.

We the people are tired. We can no longer continue with all of you. All your excuses and mistakes are not funny. We do not wish to continue with a system and government that is not working but afflicting the people. We the people of this country not living under the privileges of government allowances and remuneration have now accepted to take the bull by the horn to come out and protest this obnoxious and baseless policies and excuses of the government of the day.

Where are the recovered looted funds?

Why do we still have the executive arms and legislatures still enjoying their salaries and allowances while we hear there's no money to pay workers?

Why do we still see ceaseless power failures with no explanation and hope of getting out of it unlike before?

Why do we keep seeing peace talks in Niger Delta, fulani heardsmen and ipob without any solutions being reached, while the strategies keeps aggravating the people involved as political leaders stage forums to extort funds in the name of addressing their subjects?

Why did we have petrol price rise to 145 for the sake of global oil price crash and removal of subsidy but such price is still being maintained despite significant re-awakening of the oil price from $30/barrel to $56/barrel?

Who is to be held accountable for the sudden and continuous hike in price of commodities in the market, where for the first time in history, Nigeria is suddenly selling kerosene at 400 naira per litre as against 50 naira per litre, diesel at 300 naira per litre as against 100 naira per litre and petrol from 87 naira to 145 naira? Yet maintaining the same systems, environment and maybe a lesser money spending government.

There's need for Nigerians to rise against what is happening in this country having waited patiently for the legislatures that were elected to represent the people all to no avail.

How can there be rise in cost of living all of a sudden and no one is telling us what is actually happening? Not even a single person in power to address the challenges in the various sectors and introduce palliative measures by the government to cushion the effects?

We call on all Nigerians of good conscience to rise against this inhumanity against mankind, dehumanization and heartlesness living in high places piloting the affairs of this country while we're yet to drawn into a deep blue sea.

To this cause, we the masses wish to use this medium to alert ourselves that on the 5th of February, 2017 , there shall be a nationwide massive protest from state to state, local government to local government, ward to ward and kindred to kindred.

For the first time, all Nigerians shall match out of their houses to the streets with placards displaying what displeases you in the Nigeria of today both in the executive, legislatures and judiciary arms of government.

Cars shall carry green leaves to display the unhappiness we the masses have towards the economic uncertainties in Nigeria and the displeasure of hearing of excuses and mistakes here and there in governance.

Nobody said anybody is above resignation if he cannot meet up the yearnings of the people like David Cameron of United kingdom.

We are tired of getting surprises whenever we visit the market and yet no shake up in government spending amidst the dwindling economic reserve. Our governors and top government functionaries keep living flamboyant lifestyle, building mansions and buying up properties abroad at the most expensive locations in the world and they end up going away with it once they identify with government or political party of the day.

Enough is enough.

We have been pushed to the wall, we have reached our crossroads and our last hope before we are drawned in silence without notice is a massive protest and a vote of no confidence on the people we voted to pilot the affairs of our nation.

May we rise to demand a bann on the following:

Security votes of every government functionaries. Why do we spend extra while their security operatives rely on their normal salaries, why even continue this scheme in a dwindling economy as this in Nigeria today?

Oversight functions.

Excessive allowances like health and travelling allowances abroad, etc.

New yearly furniture allowances, rentals and kitchens for government houses, etc...

And the need to start owing governors salaries etc.

The need to stop local government allocations till they start functioning constitutionally.

The need to channel youth empowerment programs towards youth friendly programs such as sports, information technology, entertainment, innovations, inventions and not just agriculture or farming.

We call on state of emergency on power, bad roads, poor governance, dead local government areas, electoral frauds etc.

God help Nigeria as we rise on the 5th of February, 2017.

Long live the people of the federal republic of Nigeria.

Pls pass it on till it gets to over 145million Nigerians suffering from the current hardship that is capable of turning this country into a living hell if nothing is done about it NOW.

Encourage growth, encourage development, encourage stability to all.

Help us to fight with our own voices now.

Please kindly rebroadcast...

PoliticsCOMPARING: Early Denial Of MMM Failure Vs Present Denial Of Buhari's Failure. by drsugar(op): 4:07pm On Jan 20, 2017
The thread is for intellectuals only.
To understand this topic, read more about 'cognitive dissonance' on Wikipedia.

You wonder why so many MMM participants were defending MMM vehemently despite it being so obvious that it was going to fail. It's not that those people were foolish, it's due to cognitive dissonance. Some of them were well educated and informed.

Some of us are also wondering why so many Nigerians are refusing to see right now that Buhari and his team are already failing and not living up to expectations at all and will probably end up failing like MMM .
If you can call MMM a con/scam for not living up to promises made, then you should call Buhari and ApC a scam right now.

The economy is bad, it's this, it's that but look at Buhari and APC guys and their families, they are all living like kings while you the masses are suffering. People's husbands, daughters, sons, mothers are being killed due to incompetency from the leadership of our country in handling insurgency . (I know you'll say it's not their fault)

Cognitive dissonance means that if you are in a way part of a thing from the beginning , you may find it difficult to criticise it when it's obviously failing or bound to fail.

Most people that were against GEJ or Pro Buhari during the last elections now find it psychologically difficult to criticise Buhari even though it's obvious he's not living up to expectations, just like MMM participants were doing before the crashing became obvious. They find it difficult to convince themselves psychologically that they made a wrong choice. They come up with different rationalisations to convince themselves that they were not wrong or fooled(like saying there was no alternative in the case of voting Buhari OR the risk is worth taking in the case of MMM)

NB: Buhari is not fighting any corruption. What he's doing is called systematic silencing of opposition and propaganda (media Trial). The next government after APC no matter what will also still shock you when they open the books of PMB and Co to reveal their own corruptions presently on-going right now. So what's the point?

The masses should demand for dividends of democracy that they much deserve and it's long overdue.

Look at yourself, look at your father, look at your mother, sisters, brothers. Look at how you are living compared to how those you call your leaders and their families are living, like kings. I ask, who is the fool - You as a supporter or them?

It's time for constructive criticism of Buhari even if you voted for him.

Thank you.

A topless feminist protester groped a waxwork of Donald Trump during its official unveiling in Madrid, Spain, on Tuesday morning.

The unidentified woman, who had “grab back” and “grab patriarchy by the balls” scrawled in English across her bare chest and back, reportedly broke through a security cordon to grab the crotch area of the life-sized statue of the U.S. president-elect.

PoliticsGovernor Ajimobi's Utterances: Chief Awolowo Rolling In His Grave Right Now. by drsugar(op): 10:33am On Jan 17, 2017
A sitting governor who was voted into office by the mothers of these protesting state owned university students called LAUTECH was shown in a video recently daring the students to do their worst despite their schools been locked up for several months under his constituted authority..

He also made a poorly constructed statement, asking one of the students that "What(which) course are you doing(studying)"?
To cap his condescending demeanour towards this students, he said he was disappointed that this are the type of people called university students in Nigeria and also instructed one of the police guarding him to make an arrest of one of the protesting students.

Looking at what the Great Obafemi Awolowo, Pa Ajasin and other Educationalist of the west laboured for in the past, I'm sure they will be very uncomfortable right now and rolling wherever they are in their graves.

The Public display of this arrogant, snobbish, condescending, bombastic, self glorifying, egoistic and topoloftical attitude shows that there is more to be desired in our leaders' characters.

He couldn't even construct a full statement without a semantic error yet was preoccupied with making condescending comments about those protesting students' worthiness.

This is not just about Gov. Ajimobi of Oyo state who obviously behaved like a spoilt child who doesn't know his responsibilities but also about so many leaders we have presently in Nigeria who are simply vagabonds In power.
They think they are more intelligent than the common man on the street, not realising it's only fate that has brought to each of us what he/she is.

TO ALL OTHER VAGABONDS IN POWER, THIS IS MY MESSAGE TO YOU: Your power (or constituted authority or whatever) is nothing if your people that you were elected to serve cannot get quality education, if your people are dieing of diseases that are preventable, if poverty is becoming the order of the day for your people, if you people are starving, if the wages of your labourers are being owed. You have no excuse for God's Sake.
You can call yourself a billionaire or millionaire or whatever but the same fate awaits both the poor and the rich at the end of this short life. Stop being irresponsible and serve the people that voted you in.[/b]

At a glance | What is the dark web?

The dark web is a largely anonymous and untraceable area of the internet and is only accessible by a covert browser

It is facilitated by a global network of computer users who believe the internet should operate beyond the supervision of law enforcement agencies

Used by political activists and criminals alike, the networks claim to be virtually untraceable by authorities

The online black market makes everything from drugs and guns to fake passports and child pornography available

But despite the difficulties the dark web has posed for authorities, investigators believe they are finally beginning to crack the technology and bring the dealers who operate on it to justice.
