Recently, Yahoo Inc. confirmed a massive cyber security breach on its network which impacted over five hundred million users. Based on the ongoing investigation, Yahoo believes that personal information associated with these email accounts were compromised. It's being generally advised across all online financial and other vulnerable online institutions/platforms that if you are using a yahoo mail account, you should change your security log in details for both of your financial institutions and that of your email itself. This might have to include your mobile banking login details, PayPal, social media accounts and other media accounts that you might have registered your email with. This data breach is said to be the largest ever in history of cyberspace and who knows, it might have affected you. - Dr. Ola John [concerned Nigerian] |

My response is: WHO IS RESPONSIBLE? If you ask GEJ, is he justified to say it was Obasanjo that was responsible for the challenges during his administration? If you ask Obasanjo, is he justified to say that it was Abacha that was responsible for the challenges during his administration? Governance is a social contract . The people collectively accord power to a chosen government either by election or other means in exchange for good governance that can protect them, provide for their needs and guarantee their freedom and opportunity for progression and development within the confines of the law. The people have fulfilled their part of the contract by giving the Buhari led FG power and authority to govern through their votes. It's left for the government to be responsible . There is no excuse for ineffective governance. The people knew there was problem and gave you the power through their votes to solve it for them. You are responsible for the problems of Nigerians as long as you are the present established government , not previous administrations or any other entity. It's an insult on the sensibilities of the Nigerian masses to deny responsibility for good governance while at the same time enjoying the benefits and perks that comes with that office. It's called irresponsibility. - Dr. Ola John. [An Apolitical and Concerned Private Citizen] |

I hope this helps someone out there because MMM has kind of crashed and there would be a lot of emotional breakdowns come January. Cc lalasticlala seun Mynd44 |
This is just my own little way of helping hundreds of thousands of Nigerians who are presently in a state of uncertainty over their future in MMM. My explanation might help calm some nerves and prevent some possible suicides, depression or other mental or psychosomatic illnesses as a result of this MMM uncertainty. This Tool is Credited to Kubler-Ross, a Swiss American Psychiatrist and pioneer of near death Studies. It talks about the series of emotions experienced after a loss( or imminent loss as is the case of MMM right now) and how to cope. Stage 0. Shock Stage: Most of MMM participants have passed this stage right now. Stage 1. DENIAL STAGE : Most of MMM participants are in this stage right now. This stage helps us to survive the loss. In this stage, the world becomes meaningless and overwhelming. Life makes no sense. There is a grace in denial. It is nature’s way of letting in only as much as we can handle. As you accept the reality of the loss and start to ask yourself questions, you are unknowingly beginning the healing process. Stage 2. ANGER : Most MMM participants will get to this stage by January. Anger is a necessary stage of the healing process. Be willing to feel your anger, even though it may seem endless. The more you truly feel it, the more it will begin to dissipate and the more you will heal. Stage 3. BARGAINING : At this stage, we want life returned to what it was. We want to go back in time, thinking that 'can I wake up and just realise that this has been a dream ll along'. If only, If only, if only, If only... The “if onlys” cause us to find fault in ourselves and what we “think” we could have done differently. We may even bargain with the pain. We will do anything not to feel the pain of this loss. We remain in the past, trying to negotiate our way out of the hurt. Stage 4. DEPRESSION : After bargaining, our attention moves squarely into the present. Empty feelings present themselves. This depressive stage feels as though it will last forever. It’s important to understand that this depression is not a sign of mental illness. Final Stage 5. ACCEPTANCE : Acceptance is often confused with the notion of being “all right” or “OK” with what has happened. This is not the case. This stage is all about accepting the reality of our loss and accepting that the new reality is the permanent reality. We begin to see how life must continue. We begin to see how we can regain more of our losses even though it might not be as it was supposed to be. We tell ourselves, LIFE CONTINUES.!! HOLLAAAA!!! HURAYYYYY!!!! - Dr. Ola John. Love from a lady without sex is a scam. Love from a man without spending money on you is also a scam. #TakeOrLeaveIt |
chinedu2412:You are a genius. But my own question : Is love a scam too? I don't understand that thing called love at all |
There are medical treatments for nicotine addiction (smoking) and alcohol dependence or abuse depending on which category you are. See a doctor close by. Would have loved to help but just visit anywhere close by where they handle something like this. Best of luck |

I'm apolitical but just feel if APC led by Buhari wins ondo today, they'll start taking the masses for granted. They'll will start believing that they don't need to perform to win elections. They might even start believing that irrespective of how they fulfil their campaign promises or handle recession, they'll still win come 2019. I'm apolitical but just my 2cents thought. |
Based on performance so far at federal level, does APC deserve to be voted for at the polls in Ondo today? Share your views please. |

Fidel Castro, Cuba's former president and leader of the Communist revolution, has died aged 90, his brother Raul has announced. "The commander in chief of the Cuban revolution died at 22:29 hours this evening," President Raul Castro said. Fidel Castro ruled Cuba as a one-party state for almost 50 years before Raul took over in 2008. His supporters said he had given Cuba back to the people. But he was also accused of suppressing opposition. President Castro told the nation in a late night broadcast on state television that Fidel Castro had died and would be cremated on Saturday. There would now be several days of national mourning on the island. Barring the occasional newspaper column, Fidel Castro had essentially been retired from political life for some time, the BBC's Will Grant in Havana reports. In April, Fidel Castro gave a rare speech on the final day of the country's Communist Party congress. He acknowledged his advanced age but said Cuban communist concepts were still valid and the Cuban people "will be victorious". Media caption: Fidel Castro made a rare appearance at Cuba's Communist Party congress "I'll soon be 90," the former president said, adding that this was "something I'd never imagined". "Soon I'll be like all the others, "to all our turn must come," Fidel Castro said. Fidel Castro's key dates 1926: Born in the south-eastern Oriente Province of Cuba 1953: Imprisoned after leading an unsuccessful rising against Batista's regime 1955: Released from prison under an amnesty deal 1956: With Che Guevara, begins a guerrilla war against the government 1959: Defeats Batista, sworn in as prime minister of Cuba 1961: Fights off CIA-sponsored Bay of Pigs invasion by Cuban exiles 1962: Sparks Cuban missile crisis by agreeing that USSR can deploy nuclear missiles in Cuba 1976: Elected president by Cuba's National Assembly 1992: Reaches an agreement with US over Cuban refugees 2008: Stands down as president of Cuba due to health issues Throughout the Cold War, Fidel Castro was Washington's bete noire. An accomplished tactician on the battlefield, he and his small army of guerrillas overthrew the military leader Fulgencio Batista in 1959 to widespread popular support. Within two years of taking power, he declared the revolution to be Marxist-Leninist in nature and allied the island nation firmly to the Soviet Union. Yet, despite the constant threat of a US invasion as well as the long-standing economic embargo on the island, Castro managed to maintain a communist revolution in a nation just 90 miles off the coast of Florida. Despised by his critics as much as he was revered by his followers, he outlasted ten US presidents and defied scores of attempts on his life by the CIA. http://www.bbc.com/news/world-latin-america-38114953
