For a struggling guy, grow the shit out of that 25m. 25m in a good business should give us at least 70m in a year. Rent and grow this. In , 4 years, use the residual income to buy a house. Don't go and dump all your life savings in a house.

I am a mason (labourer) there's this engineer that hired us to work in his site outside the city where I live far away from my state of residence in the North East we spent 1 month and 5days working at the site we agreed that he will be given us daily feeding allowance but our remuneration will be paid after the completion of the project.

So after the completion of the project we calculated that I have 115k for the period I spent working . Now it has been 5days since we finished the project but yet to pay me I have families that depend on me and he now want me to go home empty handed after this long since I left my family. I have been asking him but now he doesn't even take my call. please how can I handle this issue?

I am a fellow engineer. He is probably not picking your call because the client disappointed him and he doesn't know how to explain to you . Just calm down and call him after some days if he didn't call

I reside in Port-Harcourt about 1 and half years ago Iost my cousin. He died of heart attack. After his death, his wife has been getting closer to me, always calling me and visiting me and am still single. I have had failed relationships in the past. Nairaland is a great place to really know the content of people's heart. Many yorubas like myself were neutral prior to the election. I use to hear about the tribalism from some quarter from both end of the Yoruba's side and the Igbo's side. But, I realised that, the Yoruba's are more open to engagement than the Igbo's. I noticed, when you have upper superior augment than theirs, they switch to insult and blackmail with your religion and culture.

This election was not suppose to go this way, but Obi took it to the next level by saying taking back Nigeria to the Christian community. That alone created what we now have as regards to tribalism.

I have been on this forum for several years, but I learnt more about the Afonja word here, because it was used most time. I believed, GRV learnt it here also. Yoruba's never took it as offense, they only use superior augment to buttress their lines of augment.

Now, What is really happening is that even non APC members that are Yoruba's are provoked by the arrogance by the Igbo's and would no longer overlook their harsh words like Yoruba women are dirty, Afonja and several others. They are all out for the Igbo's. The only solution to this is for the Igbo's, to learn to know boundaries else you face stricter repercussions. Learn to know boundaries!

2. The Okowa administration has made progress in healthcare delivery, education, infrastructural and human capital development. The government successfully constructed over 2000km roads and 1000km drainages across the state.

3. Okowa administration did not borrow N850bn from anywhere - even the state's debt burden since creation is not up yo N300bn. Okowa only took N100bn bridging-finance facility to be paid from the N217bn FG owes Delta State. In layman's terms, the N100bn will be taken from the N217bn FG owes Delta State.

5. N10bn out of the N100bn, was spent on State and LGA pensions, while N81bn was Spent on the Koka Flyover and Interchange, Mariam Babangida Leisure Park and Film Village, and Ughelli-Asaba Dualisation and others - which have been completed except two.

6. This government spread its road and bridge projects to the Creeks and other riverside communities in Ijaw and Itsekiri lands.

7. The Okowa administration equally & successfully concessioned the Asaba Airport and Delta Line Transport Company to private investors - which has already yielded a positive result.

8. Irrespective of any sentiment, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa has done greatly with the mandates of Deltans, what Delta need is a government of continuity to consolidate on the numerous gains of Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa - this can only happen by electing Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori of #PDP.

The opposition has been campaigning on propaganda and whipping up ethnic sentiments, they have been lying to Deltans just to have access to Delta State treasury. Ironically, they are fronting someone that led thugs into the Senate Chamber to steal mace as replacement. Be wise!

Initially before the presidential election he was supporting Osinbajo, he lost in the primary election. There was another moment he was supporting Atiku and later Obi, they all lost. He obviously didn’t support Asiwaju and was very bold about it . It was as if there’s this force dragging him away from any candidate that has potential of wining an election. Now he’s supporting Gbadebo and this is an indication that Gbadebo will not win. Seun has become a lithmus paper to test whichever candidate will win an election. If seun supports a particular candidate then the opposition should start Jubilating because he/she is definitely coasting to victory.
