Just because someone has accomplished great things doesn't mean they can't fail in other aspects including people management and even technical coaching. Finidi George was used by people who wanted to demonstrate the lack of ability of local coaches and he walked into it and confirmed their view. He is deflecting from his own failure.

Osimhen is a relatively young man and is someone who can't stand that accusation of not giving his best for his country. Could he have been calmer about it? Yes he could have but Finidi called him out. Hope George is happy with the response. At the end of the day, both parties should make peace and not let the media make a mountain out of a molehill.

Do you know how church buildings are funded? Have you seen the accounts to support the above claim? Do not talk from a position of ignorance but rather from a position of knowledge. People may sow seeds as part of building funds. That doesn't mean the church is beholden to them. If that was the basis of contribution, one has missed road.

Interestingly RCCG passed a directive this year that all ministers invited for any RCCG church program should be members of RCCG. Permission must now be sought if the guest minister is not from the church. In my opinion, it is about time they did such.

Separate topic. I see this comment increasingly being pushed around that GOD uses men and people tend to mean in all things he uses men. For me that is a dangerous comment, limiting GOD. When Paul and Silas were freed, did he use man to free them? When the ram was provided for Abraham and Isaac, did he use man? GOD may use man at times to accomplish works and support people but he can take a direct hand via angels or other beings.

Why learn it? Aren't there rumours that there is an upcoming competition to design a new anthem? How many anthems will one remember?

Wigwe is not his parent and there is nothing wrong with the timing of the event. What it shows is that the families were not close friends. Also if the Wigwes were not rich, would you have an issue? As a pastor, I would postpone my celebrations if any member of my church dies. However if someone less famous had died in the past and no one batted an eyelid, it would be hypocritical of them to postpone it. It is GOD that gives the power to make wealth.

The issue I have with the pastor is the unnecessary behaviours he and his wife has shown in that role. They have forgotten their position and duties and allowed the fame to go to their head. To invite Flavour as a senior member of redeemed was a bad example of proper behaviour especially when you contrast the wife with most RCCG pastors' wives. Then again I have my own thoughts on spouses of church people being given a role based on their copulation.

Best to await confirmation. People are too quick to (based on their pre-formed biases and opinions) to accept any story as long as it confirms with the aforementioned beliefs.

The reassignment of pastors is not unusual and is advised for pastors to be moved from one parish to the other. This prevents certain painful situations.
