ekestic1976: I was President of UI Student Union during my time. Things were not done this way then; and it's nauseating the way Union officials carry along these days. Boy, I'm not a nincompoop, whatever that means. I pray that you attain to a fraction of my achievements in life. God will surely answer your prayers if you learn to be respectful. If you must know, it isn't all who come to Nairaland that are youths. I live in my own house in California, owning my own outfit with five Africans and two Americans as employees. I shouldn't be saying this openly, but I only want you to know that Nairaland is peopled by intellectuals, public analysts and successful men and women - not just youths. Governor Kayode Fayemi was my Junior in Christ's School, Ado Ekiti, if you must know.
God can do it for you too if you develop a FREE disposition to issues without undue bitterness. With due respect sir, your first comment do not show that you possess the background you just claimed, and if it's correct, suffice to say that you sold popular struggles for money in your days. The problem your generation has is always claiming you're the best when facts have proven you were extremely bad. Positing that the NANS president will keep quiet when the governor offer s him money is just the most unfortunate statement ever. Danielson akpan has turned down offers in this case and you shouldn't use your corrupt mind to assess others. |

God can do it for you too if you develop a FREE disposition to issues without undue bitterness. Pardon my utterance, but you concluded too hastily. The NANs president was in Ekiti for two whole weeks, he did a thorough investigation and unearth the truth, which you would have understood if you simply read the release without a bias. He was called twice to meet the Governor with an offer of millions to sweep the issue under carpet, but swore never to make money on anyone's blood. fayemis wife was not the bone of contention here, it is the CTU officers guiding her that escalated the whole situation beyond control. To sum all up, the NANS president did not ask for personal favor, what he simply requested for was compensation for the families of the deceased. I am not a unionist, and to clear the air, I have no issues with you, let's be objective about our analysis of issues. Today it's the FUOYE two, tomorrow it might be closer home to you or I. Thank you |

Foolish students who could not write an objective report. Go to Ijebuland, visit the Grave of Segun Okeowo for tutoring about how to work around this kind of episode; obviously, his brain is worth much more than your collective brains, even in DEATH. For your information he has been offered 5 million naira twice by Fayemi which he turned down. Its people like you that sells their conscience that will entertain such thought. Nincompoop |
No matter how badly Toke first reacted, this is not good for a client who paid you for a job.
Calling a client from hell is a no no. I can never deal with such a designer after how horrible she is handling a maybe difficult client. She would have handled It better than this.
EDITED We've seen lots impatient, difficult and and sometime problematic customers like Toke.
For example, a customer saw my product/service advertised where I promised heaven and earth on how such product will help him solve a problem via my sales copy/letter. I even went ahead and promised after purchase support should he run into trouble using it.
After purchase, maybe after 7days he went straight to SM and say my product dont work as promised as result he may even end up calling me scammer without even first contacting.
Maybe I was tagged on the post or somebody brought it to my notice. It's normal for me to be pissed especially when the customer has has already bridged the rule not to have first reached out explaining me the difficulties encountered while he wait for me to provide solution.
I can express my displeasure instantly to the customer on SM but politely why he refuse to first contact me and waiting for my solution before going public, but I will later make attempt to pacify the customer by trying to solve the problem encountered first as I have promised for the post sale support.
If he/she is truly satisfied with the resolution, the same person will go to the same SM and say I have perfectly fixed the issue and I am not a scammer as he/she once thought. With this I have made my client happy, also protected my brand/name and also stand the chance of winning more potential customers over.
Reason I love the white so much when it comes to customer service. You complain after filing a dispute, they check and if the product/service fall short of the standard/duration they promise during their sales letters they issue a FULL REFUND and even ask you to KEEP the product even with APOLOGIES on top of it and count as one of those bad annual deals.
No first remorseful attempt to fix the customer complaints or pacify her, barely couple of weeks millions just going down the drain even if she was first satisfied with delivery notwithstanding.
How can a customer who have allegedly/supposedly spent 1.9M on your service be a hellish client? NO matter how bad the behaviors and intentions of such customer is, you try to handle it professionally as you will not only get repeat patronage thereafter, you can also get referrals/recommendation which is the cheapest potent means of advertising.
Toke too nor try, she would have first DM or contacted the lady first before taking her ordeal public.
It is important to set some things straight here, I am actually not happy with your response, According to Sandra's version, Toke never laid any form of complaint to her before she went ranting on social media. Meanwhile I am not judging anyone, but from Toke's antecedent, the e know she is 100% capable of doing such. Before blaming Sandra, ask yourself this, is the couch the only product made for her? Why can't she follow the proper channel of complaining, then show us the screen shot of all she did without getting responses from Sandra. There and then I will take her serious. But going to social media first, is a way to destroy someone career without giving them fair hearing. |

Politics › Re: Akeredolu An Example Of Good Leadership by DSENATAR: 12:09pm On May 10, 2019 |
RadianceG: Ondo State is a state in Nigeria created on 3rd February 1976 from the former Western State. It originally included what is now Ekiti State, which was split off in 1996. During past administrations Ondo State, has witnessed years of the negative aspect of good governance, which has put the state into comatose. The Ondo State Governor Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu SAN, is a great man who believes that he is on a mission to turn the face of Ondo state around thereby making it a viable place for investment and economic growth, by creating an enduring economic legacy that will open up Ondo State to employment and economic opportunities for the youths and engender sustainable development. Ondo state is richly endowed with natural resources, ranging from favorable climatic conditions for crop production to huge mineral deposits, rich forest resources with the longest coastal line of over 180km in Nigeria. The economy of Ondo State is also the sixth largest in Nigeria and is dominated by oil and crop production which should be adequately harnessed to create wealth for its residents and the Rotimi Akeredolu led administration will leave no stone untouched in his poise to ensure the success of the Aketi Dream for Ondo state. This includes partnering with investors in the building of an industrial estate (Ondo-Linyi Industrial Hub) that will enliven economic activities in the area. The exceptional leadership prowess of Governor Akeredolu is evident in his prudent management of the state resources, capacity building programmes, political inclusiveness and landmark infrastructure across the state despite the economic recession experienced globally. The administration of Governor Akeredolu is doing what we really wanted by creating the enabling environment for business. It worries to say that after several years of oil exploitation in ondo state, we don’t have even a single refinery anywhere in the state. This feat which seems to be only in our dreams is gradually coming to reality with the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with a privately owned oil refining firm, Crown Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited whose business is the refining of crude oil into premium petroleum products. This is another milestone for the Akeredolu led administration targeted at providing more employment opportunities to the Ondo state’s workforce. Ondo state is strategically positioned to make serious-minded and genuine investors reap from their investments. It is imperative that we re-engineer the economy and place it on a trajectory of sustained growth. Akeredolu said “Our focus is to ensure rapid growth, development and sustainability of the economy. We have developed the ‘Blueprint to Progress,’ a policy document which encapsulates the five cardinal programmes of this administration.” These five cardinal programmes are: Job Creation Through Agriculture, Entrepreneurship and Industrialization; Infrastructural Development and Maintenance; Functional Education and Technological Growth Qualitative Health Care and Social Service (Delivery); Rural Development and Community Extension Services. This visionary leader Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has able to do all this with limited financial resources. The Ondo state Governor Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu SAN said “There can be no real development without the support of ondo state citizens towards the affairs of the State. Therefore, the time has come when all those who truly desire progress for Ondo state must be willing to sacrifice.” Governor Akeredolu is a wise leader who values his team and the people. Success is only achieved with the help of others. What’s more, genuine appreciation provides encouragement, develops confidence, and builds on strengths. Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu (SAN) is a man who understands the pains of his people. He is a great listener who once said ‘The state will initiate policies that will encourage less dependence on revenue allocation from the center progressively”. Trust and confidence in leadership is a reliable indicator of the people’s satisfaction. Good leaders aren’t afraid of being challenged. Their confidence inspires. Ondo State is a state which contributed immensely to the economic growth of the defunct Western Region almost helpless without the hand-outs from the Federal Government”. That is why it is said that Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu is the right person chosen at the right time to turn Ondo state around. Compassion is strength. Good leader uses compassion to perceive the needs of those they lead and to decide a course of action that is of greatest benefit to the person and the team. In health care the Governor distributed multi-millions Naira medical and laboratory equipment to the health facilities across the 18 local government areas of the state, and employed more health workers in the state. The provision of accessible, affordable and qualitative health care is one of the five point’s agenda of The Oluwarotimi Akeredolu administration. With the ongoing renovations and construction of over 700 new schools in Ondo state, and with more schools in the state soon to witness such capital projects in other to bridge the infrastructural gap that has made learning not conducive in our various schools in Ondo state Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu reaffirmed the commitment of his administration to the infrastructure development of schools in the state. Fairness is what people want. Good leaders don’t have favorites in the people who they lead, irrespective of the political party you belong. They reward for results not partiality; they promise fairness. One of the qualities that define a good leader is honesty. When you are responsible for a team of people, it is important to be straightforward. Your political office and the people are a reflection of yourself, and if you make honest and ethical behavior as a key value, your team will follow. So remember to lead by example. The words of Governor Arakunrin Oluwarotin Odundayo Akeredolu By increasing school fees by 150% Abi, radarada |

Abeg, police should just settle the matter jare We live in a free country, there is no law in the Constitution that says having a swell time in a club is a crime. Remember, in case you have forgotten the club in question is a confined space, they were not walking naked in public bro, the police raided a club, and according to the police account of the story, which are always lies, they were purportedly naked.
