Bros........ Before Saul became king, there was a curse on his office. The way of God is not our way and is dimensions are just too versatile. A consuming fire yet a loving saviour.

The office was not cursed rather what is cursed is the people, who made the mistake of rejecting God's Rule to choose the rule of their fellow man. The same fellow very wicked, greedy, selfish and power mærd man that we know.

And read it, according to the pronouncements there, is the ruled (the people) who will suffer if they did as other nations had done. And not the ruler. That is why till tomorrow the ruled (people) will keep crying for God to purnish the rulers.

And even with this, God chose a good person to be their king. (If you read well you would see that Saul did not even want to be a king and he tried dodging it.

And no ev3ill thing happened to him or the people while he was righteous. So no, he was not appointed for doom.

But we see it was he who doomed himself by falling for the enticements and lusts which power brings.

The Way of God is Clear and He has drawn it out for us to see, if we truly want to see it.

Even though they had personal walks, God always led them into covenant, family, or community:

But people who hate God's Rule and Laws aka bandits are the ones who are coup d'etat-ing God's government by making their own government and making themselves rulers over other people.

So, Christians know that politicians and the present rulers people call government are guilty of Treason because they are coup plotters just like Satan did in converting and amassing angels to his side and government.

The write-up doesn't add up. Major sin Saul committed was disobedience. Apart, Saul was fulfilling the destiny of destruction already on the office he took up.
