Mercurio needs to tone it down on the plot holes in Bodyguard. It's fairly interesting and an intense mind game, as such it deserves a lil more astute directing. Spoiler alert: You simply don't survive a shot to the head at close range even tho' its blanks unless your cranium is made of titanium or some hi-tech fiber composite.

That said, fan commentary is the best part of the show. Makes it engaging somewhat with all the what ifs...

The coach has Jesse Lingard, Alexis Sanchez and Anthony Martial is his amoury, all have good off-ball movements and positioning. Any can function very close to Romelu and create a balance.

Mostly I struggle to understand why a seemingly deployed 4-3-3 have the other forwards spread so far apart on the wings and Romelu Lukaku can only be available find a teammate for support when he pops up near the sidelines.

When SAF deployed 4-3-3 on champions league nights, movements were swift and uniform, whether it was Rooney or Ronaldo or Tevez or Nani or Giggs or Park you couldn't really point out who was playing as top 9 or acting as a foil.

The system was bad over the weekend and improvements are not noticed, then maybe it will be time to make that bold move to hand over the mantle to Ryan Giggs or have him assist Zinedine Zidane and Micheal Carrick.

I'm not a huge fan of Lukaku either but that boy isn't a hollow shell. He might not turn out in some matches but he can score lots of goals in others.

Don't you think he can lead a team to the EPL title if used the right way?

I don't know about that bro. I agree Lukaku has some shortcomings most Man Utd striker have in their arsenal but his goal scoring ability is there for all to see. He scored 10 goals in his first 9 games man. If only Mou devised a way for our attackers to get the ball to him in the box things would've been okay. If he'd found ways of instilling that hard work of his first season in his players while giving others the freedom to take shots and score we'd be fine.

For all I know, he might be micro-managing the players heavily, leading them to want to play exactly according to his instructions which will confuse them and kill any creativity they have.

Mourinho should've approached last season the way he approached the first, and only devise more ways of creating new chances.
