eph12: Nah I think Shaw is good. The two just need to work more with each other. Another thing is that I don't think Shaw has faith in Martial defensive drive. If Shaw is caught higher up the pitch than Martial, does he trust Martial to hunt down and cover for him in case there's a counter? I don't think Martial can do that often. For this to work, the attack has to be perfect, no one should lose the ball carelessly. Now this is where the job is. The whole team still need to work more on this. Those careless passes should be cut to the barest minimum. Most of our attacks should either end in goal kick, corner kick, throw in or goal, so that our fb can get back in place Yea..you're right tho... But is it only me but I still demand more maturity from rash, his decision making is still suspect,he often runs into traps and should know when to pass when on the ball,I hope ogs works on him well...we need to win spurs to send a strong message |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by dubylhover(m): 9:19am On Jan 03, 2019 |
eph12: I think Martial needs his fb to support him in attack. While he's trying to get the ball in field, he should have someone distracting the defenders by running down the line. Most of his options yesterday was to bass the ball backwards But but he played with shaw who is very attacking na...I'm beginning to doubt shaw seriousness oo..he has been just there in our last 2-3 games or so...do we need another serious lb? |

SIRcumalot: If this dude (rabiot ) good as una they talk about am. How come he didn't make the French team for the WC?
A right winger (who can dribble, cross and pass very well) would be alright for me. Who that players is, I don't know. If you could check back, when most united fans were complaining about the omission of martial,I was particular about rabiot,to me,he was d best French player not to make the squad considering the likes of tolisso and matuidi did...but it was d coach decision and tactics,he also opted to take giroud ahead of lacazette which isn't normal |

patrickmuf: Football is gradually moving past an Ndidi kind of DM, his passing is suspect to me. With the way we have been playing, pressing from the front, we really don't need a DM whose game is centered on tackling (Although Ndidi is improving in interceptions), I rather have a player like Rabiot just behind Pogba and Fred/Pereira/Gomes than Ndidi. Rabiot is adept at recycling possession like Thiago Motta and is confident in possession like Matic albeit faster and can shoot from range. Rabiot ticks all boxes in a CMF he can even play a deep lying CMF,he has that spatial awareness...his passing range is excellent...I've always wondered y there isn't much talk about him...maybe its because of his personal life |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by dubylhover(m): 1:09pm On Jan 02, 2019 |
dopeJemi: The question is, Is Rabiot what We need at the moment? I would say yes....you obviously don't think because we urgently need a rw and a DM that if we just signed those 2 positions we would win the league....to be sincere its only pogba that's our quality cm,what I'm saying is that if there's a chance to get rabiot who is always an excellent cm and would effortlessly fit into our team, then no problem...Herrera has d energy for recovery of balls and marking, but we still need a cm who is creative and can move with the ball...rabiot is very very mobile considering his physique...he reminds me of prime guti |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by dubylhover(m): 11:51am On Jan 02, 2019 |
dopeJemi: What we need right now is Ndidi, a right winger and a defender. Unless Rabiot is a defensive midfielder now Tho we are in need of a right winger, rabiot would easily slot into team besides pogba, but yeah you're right we need a solid DM behind them |
