elampiro: I am a fan and supporter of the Three Lions. This their current team is good. But this is not the first time England has won in Germany. I was already many years into supporting them when a young English side shocked the world and won 5-1 in Germany in 2002 world cup qualifying match.
This team is trying and Rooney was among first to say it immediately after they crash out in world cup in Brazil. He said the team is different and has many talents.
There is still a long way to go. Even some players might get injured before the tournament, particularly the young ones trying to impress badly. Some might not show consistency in the remaining friendlies. I am sure they still have about four before the tournament. wish you and d three lions luck oo.. |

dat fella defending Rooney blindly doesn't want to b realistic...since 2004,Rooney has flopped in all competitions for d country side, but yet he's their all time top scorer courtesy of friendlies and qualifiers...currently is Rooney close to Kane? d modern day football that encourages quick transition, can Rooney give you that? anyways I'm happy i don't support English national team cos I know that hodgson would still start him, thereby holding another player back....even xavi is his old age wud offer Spain more currently than what roo wud offer England..but d English are so blinded by sentiments that they don't actually see what would help them |

elampiro: So because they won without Rooney, they suddenly don't need him?
Rooney scored and provided an assist in their 2-0 win over France. Rooney and Dele Ali were the two best players of the match.
Rooney was their greatest threat when they he and Kane led the line against Italy. Kane was anonymous while Buffon was the hero saving from Rooney twice and the woodwork stopped another from Rooney.
Rooney is their lead scorer in the qualifier. Also the lead scorer in their last three qualifiers to major tournaments.
England scored two goals in the world cup, Rooney provided one and scored the other. He was dropped in the last match but Sturbridge, Sterling and co didn't look like scoring even if the match was extended for several more hours. bro,I'm talking about generally..y wouldnt he b their top scorer in qualifiers? he plays as their top 9 and plays penalty...has Kane started up to 15 matches for england? besides you said Rooney has scored 2 world cup goals, abeg is it premiership world cup or FIFA world cup? d fact presently is that Rooney isn't as good as Kane or vardy in d top 9 position...leaving him d no 10 position, which I think alli and barkeley are better suited for that position....its a general knowledge that based on this seasons performance,Rooney shoudnt for england, cos they have better players.... |

RuuDie: They were having this discussion on ESPN during the Germany - England friendly... with Vardy, Kane, Welbeck, Sturridge, Sterling Alli, Barkley and co. do they still need Rooney!? If he makes the team, should he just bench for these guys? right from d inception of this season,I told someone that I feel for Roy hogson,I said come end of season,he'd b faced with a Rooney dilemma, any ardent follower of Rooney and manu, wud know that Rooney has been in decline for d past 3 seasons,....yes he might score one or two spectacular goals, might defend, but d Rooney we know has finished...even when Kane was having drought beginning of d season,I knew he'd come good..now with vardy also, that was an unforseen variable,it would b an enigma to football if Kane or vardy doesn't start as d top 9,leaving Rooney with d no 10 position...alli and Barkely are perfectly more suited for that role than Rooney...so once again,I feel sorry for hodson, cos any decision he makes concerning Rooney would attract backlash from d fans.... |

moneyallowed: I was sorely tempted but then there's guys here shitting on Breaking Bad, one of the most beloved series of all time, makes me realise folks will shit on anything, even gold if given the chance.
So let him talk, if he says DD is crap then that's his loss, he'll never get to experience the bliss. I'm on Season 2, episode 5 now and all I can say is wow, just wow. Anyone that doesn't watch this is seriously missing. So many questions on vigilante justice but I'll wait till I finish.....and for those shitting on BB seriously I have no words for you, except I had a friend like you once.
I tried everything, and I mean everything to get him to watch it. No way he said, too boring he said, overrated he said. So I gave up and moved on with my life, if he doesn't want to share in the experience then it's his loss. So I thought
Then 4 years later, out of the blue, this guy calls me, chatting me up on social media, all he wants to talk about is BB. Pinkman did this, Eisenberg is a boss, etc. Guy look I've moved on na, BB is old news I say. But it's not old news to him and now he wants to share the joy with someone else
So I guess I was lying, there are actually words to describe those people that hate Breaking Bad. I put them into two categories ; the wannabe hipsters, the guys that want to hate on anything popular because it's cool at the moment and they wanna be different. If everyone else likes it, they hate it, automatically. Guy have you seen this dope video by Falz? Meh, it's just there jare, overrated. Like that, regardless of quality it's always overrated to them because people like it too much and people aren't allowed to like quality
The second category belongs to the people who actually took the time to watch it, wasted time in their opinion cos in the end they didn't just get it. I mean they tried, they really tried cos since everyone else loved it then there must be something about this but no, they couldn't find anything special. So now they're angry cos they feel deceived. Now the mere mention of BB makes the bile rise in their throat.
I have respect for the second category of people, I have no time for the former. You shouldn't have to like something because most people do. In this day and age social media has such an effect that at times we adopt the views of others without thinking for ourselves There is no such thing as universal acclaim cos we are individuals and individuals will have different opinions. It's allowed
Thank you for taking the time to read this, dear haters of DD and BB. I hope I was reasonable as this is a public space and I have to appear reasonable in public. Let me just warn you however, if you know me personally don't you dare bring your bloody smug face and tell me favorite shows on earth are poo cos I will smash that smug face, I will break your legs and cut your fingers into little pieces and feed them to my dogs. Don't you dare cos I will end you, permanently thats all bro..i also used to have a friend like that way back that felt it was too boring,i left him..then around early Jan,i saw a bbm request with d name Heisenberg...lo nd behold it was him,he was angry with me for not forcing him to watch it with me... but just as you said, for those that don't like it one way or d other, its their loss... |

sweetcocoa: Everybody seems to be all crazy about Breaking Bad, I started it, somehow stopped at season 2 and haven't been able to go back to it ever since(though I always tell myself I will). I'm saying, cos I watch a whole lot of TV and I'm sure I know good series(bragging is allowed), but the way people talk about BB make me wonder, if it's the same breaking bad with a retired chem teacher and his former student. yea it is..its a special genre,I'm guessing you love series like desperate housewives, arrows, suits scandal and co...you'd have to b patient to enjoy series like bb,its just like Hannibal and true detective..d truth is that not everyone can connect with it |

A 2 nil deficit away doesn't spell automatic knock-out Neither does a replay away to West Ham.
There you have it. sorry to say,but if you honestly believed that we wud overturn that 2 goal deficit and knockout Liverpool and also go to Upton park and knock westham out with this current team and playing style, then you share d same philosophy as that mad man lvg who opened his foul mouth to say we are still competing in 3 competitions, when if he was to b realistic,we'd finish trophyless and probably 5th at best.....I actually see Liverpool beating united or at least getting a draw tomorrow at theatre of nitemares... fact... |

Politics › INEC Postpones Abuja Area Council Election... by dubylhover(op): 8:36am On Mar 15, 2016 |
The Independent National Electoral Commission has rescheduled the Abuja area council elections slated for March 19. The election will now hold on April 9, the commission said. This was disclosed in an address by the resident electoral commissioner INEC-FCT, Jacob Jatau, at an emergency meeting with concerned parties on Monday 14th at the INEC conference hall. Mr. Jatau in the address revealed that the shift in the election date was as a result of shortage of ad-hoc workers. His address: “Over a period of time, the commission has collaborated well with the National Youth Service Corp (NYSC). “However, there is a challenge currently as the commission has not been able to get the required number of corps members for the elections scheduled for March 19, 2016. “Given this challenge, the commission began consultations with the authorities of the University of Abuja to balance the required number of ad-hoc workers. By today that number was received but it is not possible to adequately train and deploy them for the exercise. “In the light of this development therefore, the commission has decided to shift the elections by three weeks. The new date for the Area Councils elections in the FCT is April 9th, 2016.” www.premiumtimesng.com/news/200143-inec-postpones-fct-area-council-elections.htmlcc lalasticlala mynd44... |

Elxandre: How do people compare Lukaku with Martial when LVG mostly plays a negative system that always stifles attacking players.
Some blame Martial for drifting outside the box. Why wouldn't he in an attacking system that can't just get the ball to the forwards? Not to mention that Martial has scored played mostly from the wing.
I'm sure Roberto Martinez would kill to have Martial in his team.
As if Lukaku would score 15 goals in united. yea good point...lvg tactics is negative, but martial personally has to improve his goal scoring prowess, and he needs to play in a pure attacking that creates chances regularly, not passing aimlessly looking for d perfect goal...lukaku always struggles against d big teams,I'm not sure but I think yesterday was d first time lukaku scored Chelsea...Everton is a good team for him,im not sure how he wud fare wearing d united shirt... |
