SailorXY: na ball-playing we wan chop? Who ball playing don epp? CAN HE DEFEND??
one thing pipo shud knw is that we evolve, football has changed.tho i dnt lyk pep.but hes a visionary.footbal needs defenders who r comfortable on d ball.d same was said of pique wen he was at man u.pep took him nd now,i dnt think any defender has achieved more. Ive observed pep's pattern,he likes build up from d back nd personally like it also,if blind were a bit bigger,he'd b miles ahead of bigling.but one tin i'm sure of is that if pep signs him,he'd b a revelation.
GBR1: It seems Stones is headed to City. Interesting.
i honestly dnt understand how pipo cnt see how good stones is.tot mou wud go for him.pep wud have a massiue talent,d best ball playing defender in d pl
Diademk07: He's also a box-box CM, quite similar to Vidal. Furthermore, he's just signed a new contract. What we need in the team is just simple. A playmaker, holding midfielder and a right winger. Personally, I think Kante would be a better signing than Matic. So far, he's operated in the holding role fro the french team and has looked great in it. Although, he doesn't have the passing range but his reading of the game, agility, tactical discipline and vision (accurate vertical passing) makes him a good option in the holding midfield role than Matic who look likes an immobile lump of wood. My playmaaker option would be Pjanic, Verrati or Torres. As a matter of fact, if we are ready to splash 78mil on a midfielder, we should do that on Verratti and not Pogba because box-box players yapa full everywhere as opposed to orchestrating playmakers. My wing option would be Sadio Mane for his lightening speed. Mahrez is also a good shout but not as lightening as Mane. I'm not impressed by Sane though. You got to watch his performance against Bayern. He looked so awful with his touches and decision making. He seems to solely rely on his pace which was well matched by Alaba in that match, hence, his pathetic display. I haven't seen much of Ounas but will try to get acquainted with his clips on Youtube but the talk about him haven't been impressive. My first option was Dembele who's been snapped up by Dortmund but would settle for Mane.
verrati is perfect, but psg wont let him go..i have my reservations about mane,he has d pace but lacks consistency and doesnt really have killer passes,i feel mahrez is d perfect option for us..his skills, creativity movement is second to none in d epl..if i were mou,its him id go for....im tired of hearing this pogba talk up and down..its a pity that most peeps dont appreciate d role of deep lying playmakers
Diademk07: Now that I've been off the ban by Mukina, I can say that I've not been impressed with the names we're getting linked with, especially in the area of the midfield. Gomes? Matic? Even Pogba? None of them are capable of controlling the tempo of games or even creative enough. Gomes is Herrera make 11 in the sense that he's inconsistent with his erratic techniques and passing skills nor visionary. Pogba has all the flairs in this world but more of an offensive box-box midfielder who takes the midfield to another level with his flairs and energy but would need someone building up and dictating the play alongside him and I hope we aint banking on Rooney to operate as a playmaker. Since Rooney would be a mainstay in the team, I think the box-box role should be given to him. As a matter fact, Rooney can offer what Pogba brings in that role although it wouldn't be of the same quality level. All he needs to do as an offensive box-box CM is to join the attack, make runs to create space and contribute his defensive quota which he can do quite well. I really would have loved Pjanic for that creative playmaking role but it seems impossible now that Juve have him in bags. It would also be stupid of Mourinho if he let go Blind because he's a player capable of playing different role without any drop in the quality. I don't even support the signing of an out of form player in Matic who had only 6 good month in the Epl before he got found out. Personally, I think we should opt for a player with well rounded technique, passing range, reading of the game and tactical discipline for the holding role and the only player I could think of is Weigl who's unavailable. More reason why Blind shouldn't be let go just because we've found a new shining toy in Matic. I would also love if we could take a punt on Oliver Torres as a loan with the option to buy. The guy has a high potential and already operates at a high level if only his Coach, Simeone would use him right and deploy him in the middle and not on the wing. His performance while on loan at Porto against Bayern in the CL was something else. He dominated Bayern midfield like a pro. And I could recall him being the best player on the pitch against France at the U20 where he dominated and outclassed Pogba in the central midfield. Even today, Porto fans still rave about him. I think he needs a coach who can trust him in the middle and allow him to do his magic as opposed to the defensive Simeone who would rather deploy him on the wing. He could well be our Coman who was not allowed to thrive at Juve but became a revelation at Bayern. As For Baily, I know nothing about him but any signing over the overhyped Stones is welcome by me.
NYC TALK..at least someone else sees pogba for what he is..he cant control or dictate d tempo of a game,i woud pick kroos over him a 10 times...how about saul niguz..i think that fella is really good
Kagawa10: Coward loser! Majority of people here never agreed on anything that's not tarnishing Van gaal's image! Only the opposing fans does! Hypocritic fools who constantly abused Mourinho while he was at Chelsea suddenly turned to baboons screaming he's the best thing since slice bread! I don't expect a coward eediot like you to realise this, because you're one of those hard on Mourinho's dickk!
but you know youre a bit biased, its obvious that you idolise lvg and hate mou....ibe never seen a good post abt mou from you neither have i seen a negative post abt lvg from you..heck you even said lvg achieved his aim this season by making top 4...
raumdeuter: When Mourinho was given Madrid and Chelsea he flopped badly.
The so called special one got sacked at his last 2 jobs and this is his final opportunity to redeem his image. If he ends up sacked within 2yrs here. then he has become the Special in failure one
Mourinho has everything to prove and he has to start winning from day 1
Guardiola took a team that finished 18 points off the leaders to the treble at first attempt, let Mourinho take Man Utd that finished 15 points off the leader to a treble or are you admitting he cant do a Pep already?
SIRcumalot: this na my problem with this thing. the man himself has never claim to be one. in fact he has always taken time to credit his team, he isn't a miracle worker, he never was, what he is,is a great manager with full understanding of the greatest Team ever and he used it to terrorize Europe for 3years in a manner that we may never see again.
the work Pep is about embark on is what LVG did in first season.
let me ask you this question as a Utd fan or any other utd fan. if we had somehow gotten Pep has a manager what would your reaction be like ? I suspect that the fan base will be happier with Pep than Jose.
not me tho..im happier with mou instead of pep...no hating tho, mourinho was always destined to play for manu
most peeps here take things too seriously, every group or thread needs to have a comic relief, even when I close from work,I look forward to reading what kagawa10 has to say cos it really makes me laugh.....
im starting to think he does it purposely
I can only imagine d look on his face when Louis van gaal his idol was sacked...
darkenedrebel: Prison Break would most definitely be on the front burner as soon as it premieres.
Game of Thrones has been dawdling lately, and Arrow has been indifferent - much to my chagrin.
I really can't wait to watch the unholy trine in action once again: Scofield(the brainbox]; Tea-bag(the manic depraved psychopath); Fernando Sucre[the slaphead Puerto Rican).
yea. i get you..my happiness is that theodoro bagwell is still around...and how did he get outta prison by the way
just watched d trailer of d new prison break.... ....i just hope game of thrones wont air around d same period cos for me,i would cut ties with it....t bag is around
Why is everyone jumping at Mourhino's coming, is this not the same guy that failed woefully at Chelsea last season? Does his lousy style and culture fit into the Manchester tradition? This is just a desperate move by Man Utd from my point of view, Pep Guardiola would have been a better fit but we missed out on him.
before you start regretting, lets see what pep would do in city that needs rebuilding, not just a team full of established stars
Kezifils: Suggested this show to a friend last year, he said the show was boring. I just shot my laptop and told him see you later, bye cos I had no energy to argue
i think its d best millitary spy drama ive watched..its better than strike back
