Newmum0615: Bros, it seems the oracle is saying that your NOC is 4163 Business development officers and marketing researchers and consultants o. Not 0122. I am still in consultation sha. But I can hear the voice clearly in my left ear.
You still need to trim it down though. Don't allow your VO to vex because of eye ache. This woman @Newmum0615 is super good and always ready to help. God bless u sis. Please, expect more mails from me sha Post-ITA |

Newmum0615: When you say primary NOC, do you mean for another set of duties or these ones you posted? Cos if it is for these ones you posted, then it may not entirely. Give me some time, lemme look at it. Something always comes up. You can send a PM, let's not clog the thread. I've tried sending you PM, it's not going. Which other way can I reach you? |

Newmum0615: Hmm. Well, I just gave a preliminary suggestion. I may come up with better options if I take a long and harder look at available options. 4212 and 4152 are for social workers. Can't tell for sure if they match till I study them well. Other brethren may even provide better options. Thank you once again @Newmum0615, my primary NOC is 4165. I don't know if it can also fit in under this NOC |

Newmum0615: 1. Add details for both. 2. Yes. You can do that. 3. Hmm. Don't know what to say about this one. You may want to explain this with an LOE to avoid a VO misconstruing your intentions. 4. The closest I have seen for now is 4412 and it's NOC C . I may come up with a better fit with time. Take a look at it. Anyone else can help with this. Modified: Take a look at 0311 too. Thanks for your response. I'm a public health professional. 4412 is for home support worker which I am not. I manage a care home and oversee the duties of care workers. For 0311, this one pass me. Its for doctors, nurses and other specialists. Please can you check 4212 and 4152. Sorry for bothering you. |

Please, someone should help me with this. @newmum0615,@Tojued,@Glitteringstar dudujomi: Congrats to those that got their PPR. Please, I need clarifications about EE profile 1. I evaluated my Bsc and MSc last year without knowing I needed just my MSc. Should I fill in just MSc or both since both were evaluated?
2. Since I'm not claiming point from spouse's work experience, should I just pick NO for the part that asked for if spouse has work experience so that I can move it personal history post-ITA?
3.I did church wedding on April 5 and court May 2. We use the court certificate for all legal documentation. Since IRCC now check people's social media, we have April 5 on our profiles and this is when we celebrate our anniversary. Hope this is not misinterpretation?
4. I intend to combine 2 NOCs to claim 4 years work experience. My main one is 4165(previous job) and I can't really pick NOC for my current job. @newmum and others good at NOC, please help me. Duties are below;
Plan, supervise and implement elderly care in accordance with the policies and regulations of the centre. Ensure the needs of all clients are met with concern for their interests, challenges and individual styles of living. Plan and prepare elderly care environment, set up and prepare needed materials and supplies. Engage elderly clients with gentle activities including reading, taking walks and working puzzles. Ensure all clients are treated with respect and dignity by all staff. Attend meetings and recommend training programs for staff. Ensure staffs maintain clients’ schedules to doctor’s visits and other appointments. Ensure adequate and necessary championships are provided to clients’ in need for personal, health related and emotional wellbeing. Whew! These people checked everything. How did I know? The links were listed right there on the GCMS notes I just received last night. Heading on the notes: Online Presence: Yes.
London is not joking. Long story cut short, clean up your online profile my people.

I was so disappointed with my Reading. Although, I prepared for only weeks, I had earlier written Academic less than 2 months earlier and aced it. Even had a 9.0 in reading.
My Reading score of 7 discouraged me this morning. But reading people posts about MOD messing up people's result with 6.5 in writing, I must say I'm grateful for my narrow escape. You should do thanksgiving self. Congrats on the narrow escape |

LausDeo: Brother, It is very very annoying. As with everything in Nigeria. I even sent mine for verification even though I have heard it will not get a good assessment. But I sent it anyway cos I worked for that certificate. I also sent my Adv Dip in MA (CIMA UK). Guess what, it was accepted. No long verification process. All the other Nigerian credentials are still awaiting verification. Who did we offend in this country? To your question that who did we offend in this country, I seriously don't know. Maybe we should ask our 'elders'. It took 8 month for Lautech to send verification for my hubby and I. I was fortunate to get someone's number at the registrar's office. Could u believe the verification was done less the an 2 mins. Just to press a click on the computer took them 8 months. Its annoying. Rewriting my IELTS na d koko. I refused to be worried abt the nonsense here. |

Please, how did u create a new profile. Did u use the old one to create the new one? Pls, how did u go about it. TEECANN: Thanks to everyone who have reached out to me since morning on this much anticipated draw of today.
Great, it is out @ 441
But not yet uhuru for your guy...I am feeling firsthand what is it that people who miss ITA feel- to have almost clinch something and it slipped away, just like that!
I got denied with the TIE BREAKING RULE- profiles of December 12, 2017 and older, scaled through.
To think that my profile of October 22, 2017 got ineligible days ago is painful. I just created a new profile after that incident on May 1, 2018 and thereby couldn't clinch ITA with a 441.
I NEED ADVICE, PLS HELP STRATEGIZE WITH ME:
1. My IELTS is LRWS- 8, 8.5, 7, 7 (I know I did enough to get a 7.5 at least in the speaking- I'll leave writing for BC- Is it wise to order for EOR considering that it will take 10 weeks to come and four (4) ITAs would have been declared within that space of time- what if the CRS cutoff drops and I'm still awaiting my remark scores? (NB: a 7.5 in speaking will boost me to 444)
2. I have MOD slated for Saturday- 12th May- my speaking test was ok and I hope that my LWR will be fine too. The MOD result should be out by Friday, 25th May. Should I wait for MOD result to be out (to see whether I can use it to boost CRS) before ordering a BC's EOR (if at all, it will be advisable to go that route)
3. Should I just wait with my 441 in the pool and watch trends for 2 months (4 ITA draws) to see whether the cut-off will drop to below 440 range?
NB: I dont know whether anyone is monitoring the trend which is fast becoming interesting. I have been following express entry since late 2016 and over the period through 2017, I have noticed that information about Express Entry- that started in 2015- is fast becoming more and more popular amongst young workers (age advantage), highly educated (with masters) and wicked IELTS scores at the first attempt, both in Nigeria and worldwide, who are constantly diving into the pool with wickedly high CRS and with better understanding of what opportunities awaits them in Canada against the zero chances that they have at home.
The implication of this is that the CRS cutoff will increasingly become difficult to drop (as I suspect that the cutoff is being determined by graphing) unlike 2017 when the popularity of EE wasn't so a household thing as it is now (I may be wrong though)
Virtually every young and not so young professional and office worker in most offices in Nigeria have heard about the EE process, check out the crowd on IELTS test days, then you will understand what I'm saying.
Please help proffer a likely way forward to my scenario!
It will all end in praise IJN! |
