PPR!! Finally!
It landed yesterday and the day just ran so fast. I was encouraged to apply myself from this platform and I am glad it ended in praise.
Timeline
Glorrryy!!!Surely there’s an end and my expectation shall not be cut off. Proverbs 23:18 Because I delighted myself in the Lord, He has given me the desires of my heart. Psalms 37:4
First Application Submitted- April 25, 2021 Biometric- April 28, 2021 Eligibility started- May 8, 2021 Requested for gcms- May 17, 2021 Medicals- May 18, 2021 Sent mail to Immigration Minister- May 25, 2021 after an MP advised. Refused- June 3, 2021(one reason, personal asset and financial status).
I remembered I just finished a three days fasting from our regular morning prayers,Next Level Prayers. Imagine a rejection mail after praying and fasting. I was devastated.♀️
Received my gcms note- June 17, 2021 stating the refusal reason which was primarily noted lump sum without explanation to the source of funds. It took me 3 to 4 months to re-apply because I was willing to put in all my best.
Second Application Submitted- October 6, 2021 Medical updated- October 13, 2021 Eligibility started- January 4, 2021 Passport Request- February 14, 2022
I also got a mail also from Abuja because I finished them with mails last week.
What I did differently -I changed from a two year program to one year program, same course but different school. Explained why I changed from two years to one year because I don’t want to be away from my kids for so long. -I changed sponsor from self-sponsor to spouse-sponsor. -Paid first semester school fee. -Added more personal asset for myself and my spouse both as couple and as individual. -Re-wrote my LOE to address all the concerns noted in my gcms note. -Added few online courses certificate that aligned with the intended program. -I asked a lot of questions when in doubt. -I sent my documents to few people on this journey to review before submission.
I just want to return all glory back to God almighty, the finisher of my faith and my anchor through the waiting. He said it and he brought it to pass. Thank you to my MVPs that kept encouraging me and listening to all my complaints and ranting. You are amazing and I intend to keep our friendship❤️❤️.
I want to encourage everyone still waiting to keep holding on and keep giving thanks. The wait will be over soon and your mouth will be filled with thanksgiving. 26 Likes 1 Share |

No need of normal statement. The MBS is even more authentic. Do not worry yourself if you don't get an NSE request. Keep hope alive. Thank you. |

Myki007: Please Gurus in the house, I strongly need your advice urgently, my program started 7th of September, and I tried to defer it to next term, but the school said they don't defer, they either refund your tuition to you or leave it with them and reapply next fall. I had no faith in my application as I stated and asked them to refund. And my refund was approved yesterday which they said will take 4 to 6 weeks, then my visa approval came this afternoon. Kindly advice best decision to make at this point please
Write to them that your visa application has been approved and you would appreciate a re-consideration on your offer letter. Persuade them to disregard the refund request and also note that you would be glad to start class as soon as possible. 1 Like |

ayoslas88: It seems that any one that have gotten BVL for like 2weeks and still awaiting PPR cannot b rejected from the experiences of people here….
What is ur thought? Yes....from thread, once an applicant receive bvl more than 48 working hours, the next decision is usually positive. However, have we experience a negative decision even with that timeline? Yes, we have. All we can do is keep the faith alive and hope for a positive decision. |

Hold on to your faith and wait for your PPR. |

Perfectyyyyyy: You can’t imagine how much I have done on schools offering Post Graduate Certificate in Human Resources Management. Does that have 2 years only opening for Canadan students while others are one year program for international student. Only Lambton offers 2 years program in HRM and very competitive with limited slots. I sent them a mail and got a reply that September 2022 intake will be open on the 4th November 2021 and a very few slots which would close within days.
See at that Trent University you recommended. It is a one year full time program like others and 2 years part-time program.
Thanks. If you could find any, kindly let me know I will appreciate.

I do not deserve this , but Alhamdulilah. I didn't even add that anyone was accompanying me. . Wow! So sad to hear this. This really broke my heart. Please be strong, take some time off and come back to face it. This is just to make you stronger and to send in a tighter application a second time. ezeonlinebiz: I have not been myself concerning this proof of fund thing. Must one have a certain amount of money in his account all through the six month before printing statement? I submitted two accounts statement. One is 6 month with monthly inflow and a balance of 2m. The money don't stay. But I have inflow and outflow of about 50m plus while the other account has 25m closing balance with inflow and outflow of about 26m plus. But my fear is that, one is just one month statement but the money was there all through that month untouched. We got that from a sales of properties. Hope I am safe with this? Justify the funds by showing source of income. Back the transactions up with appropriate documents and you should be good to go. They do not except that huge funds will stay in the account for 6months straight untouched. Whatever your transaction and balance is, justify it and be detailed about it in your SOP. |

Perfectyyyyyy: Hello Nairalander and gurus
All efforts to get colleges in Ontario that offers 2 years Post graduates certificate program in Human Resources Management or related courses have prove abortive.
Only Lambton colleges offer 2 years but the course is high, $27500 tuition fees and application fees of $150. It also includes lots of conditions and not available for May and June 2022 intake. Others colleges only have 1year program.
What would you advice me to do? There are programs in Human Resources for 2years. Go to applyboard.com and search with what you want. Also, check Trent University. 1 Like 1 Share |

mastersammy: Hello Canadian Aspirants..... This information is for Applicants out there that there study visa app has been refused and they are thinking of giving up in their pursuit to study in their dream country Canada. I was inspired to put this down bcus I noticed some Applicants are giving up and are pulling the plug of their plans to move to Canada . I don't blame them anyways, cus Canada embassy has a way of putting people into anxiety, curiosity and frustration base on the long wait and other things. But the thing is,there is a good news now, Applicants doesn't have to give up their dream to live and study in Canada anymore.
I agree with this. Thank you for encouragement. |

Temmynitemmy: Good evening friends. I'll like to share my testimony to encourage someone here. Should have done this yesterday but was pretty busy with work.
First time applicant Submitted 12th May Biometrics request 13th (checked for available slots but 24th May was the closest free date) Upfront Medicals 21st Biometrics 24th (uploaded on profile same day) Medicals updated to passed 1st June.
Then......this wait began Sent web forms in June to update my new passport and IELTS even though I didn't get NSE request
No update, nothing
Eligibility didn't start
Ordered GCMS notes in July. Notes came in exactly the 30th day but was pretty scanty. Only info sharing was complete. Eligibility was blank but was shocked me was that the notes mentioned that they requested for IELTS (a request that never got to me but thank goodness I already sent ahead)
***Please order for your notes if your processing Timelines have been exceeded****
In August, I sent mails to London, Accra, Nairobi even Canada to request for updates since my resumption date was fast approaching. I got generic responses for all.
I also sent to the MP of my province. She tried but got same generic response.
My school admin gave a deadline of 8th to defer. I was about to write a deferral letter yesteday when I just decided to check my profile and saw Eligibility Started.
Few hours later, BVL dropped. 50minutes later, I got a PPR.
For everyone still waiting, Please don't give up, pray and have faith. For those delayed, revive your spirit and fire back!
BTW, I'll be going to UNB.... Anyone heading to Fredericton this month end? Congratulations! Go and excel! |

I even checked if eligibility had started and it was still blank, sent them a webform and 2 hours later I got two IRCC mails. My heart raced all the way to my GC page where the glorious PPR was waiting for me.
God will visit each and everyone of us here, can’t thank you all enough. Congratulations!!Go and Excel! |
