This update is so battery friendly, i have had it for 2 days now and it's far better than 8.2.5.0, it is definitely an answer to the battery hungry former. The size will be 30mb if ur coming from 8.2.5.0 but 1.5gb if ur coming from lower. U can check out the positive reviews on the miui forum for further convinction.

I don't mean there are dates. I am only saying that could be a possibility. Personally, I don't update the apps I don't use. Of all the Google Apps pre-installed, the ones I update are Gmail and Chrome. Play Store and play services as you may have found out updates automatically. So you might try this way too, just saying

This MAY be what has been happening to you ; last update you made was for 30th May and you updated last week and now the one for 9th June is here and it's feels like just a week old
