Don't even try to misunderstand me, I'm also holding ur view. I mean ASM, C, Cpp guys are greater than these "high level" guys, in thinking, knowledge... The designer of Python, Java are C programmers, designer of Ruby is a C++ programmer, and the list goes on. Go and check the most valued guys. Besides why am i in this argument with you guys. When you talk about being paid. we are not considering the question again but even at that. The most valuable guys in any company are the c -> Assembly coders who have the power to do and undo. With C u are in charge of the app. And sometym last two years the requirement for an intel IT job is an Experienced Assembly programmer.

Worst decision PDP ever took. For Pdp to get back to power they need to shift power to the SW. And they think some ibo guys are ready to vote for any northerner in 2019. C makes u flexible and by saying it's a fallacy, it's ur own opinion.

c programming might be old and obsolete but it's still worth learning and beta still, start with it cos it will give u an insight on other programming language. it will make u grow through the world of programming and make you appreciate others like c++,C#,java etc when u move over to them.
Advantages of c
1. Easy to learn and understand.
2. over 1001 textbooks with easy step by step explanation.
3. Easy debugging.
4. Flexible.

Disadvantages of c
1. Time consuming.
2. Lack safety(in terms of compilers).
