zaynie:You are right @ the wahala part....& touch and buy... I had to accompany a sister in church to buy baby things last week and the helele no be here....the sight of many waddling Preggy mums there was something hence my suggestion.... Guess it all boils down to cash at the end because the economy is "smiling" else if most had their way they would do their shopping when in 2nd trimester( the glowing time in pregnancy with plenty shakara).... Money enter our account oooo. Hope you are going on mid-term break from tomorrow oooo.....waking up early to prep breakfast/lunch bag no be moi-moi... Well done ma'am. |
New additions everywhere........congratulations to the new mums..God keep your babies and their dads too... 2nd missionary journey loading.....please second/third/fourth/fifth time mums , kindly tell me what you did biko ....drugs etc It's about time I gave my boy an aburo/aburos...... Sept 2015 class mums especially that have gone to favor room again or are already having MS....in your spare time ...I need adequate info... Thanks in anticipation.... ![]() Talking about shopping list esp for Preggy moms outside Lagos...... is it possible to group themselves as per location and get things shipped to them from here instead of travelling up and down with big belle..... I think all they need do is draw up a list and their budget so their merchant can easily get them tailored to their list and send by bus.... e.g if Zaynie is the merchant they are buying from...she just sends to each location. TRUST is the only issue here. I was only thinking out loud with this suggestion ni oooo. |
comtem2011:OK..thanks again sis |
sayoddy:@aeroplane...yes oooo I'm sure his thumbprints are allover the phone too...Children of this time/season are a lot smarter than we assume....God keep them for us.... Amen |

ebonyjoke:Sabi mamas' would come and answer you..... For me........ ...when my son was that age....he took only pap and soya till a year plus.....but, he was doing great...hitting his milestones...fresh and healthy His weight was at one point till then..... He didn't accept any formula...no solid food...nothing at all......I only ensured I made a big flask of pap and gave him as often as often as pap is water.....even biscuit was war....gradually diluted ribena...diluted malt... |
Cute babies everywhere....( using the comments of mamas' here as I didn't see picture) Speedy recovery to every baby that is strong.....and speedy recovery to mum and dad too...it isn't easy taking care of a 'strong' child.....sleepless nights and worry.....my son just got better this week....I didn't sleep from Sunday to Wednesday .. kelizosuy......see me looking at you like **rolling eyes**** you berra enjoy this your allnight sleep well...she might change pattern soon...**tongue out**** During the course of the week....my mind just went to my mum and how much I missed her ( savage replies, wahala and things she has done)... What do you remember your mum for? What do you wish she did more for you? What do you miss most about her? Lemme start :--------- My mum can compose songs from any thing.... You ask her questions ,....she will make sure she replies with a word from the question especially in Yoruba lang e.g me: ki lo de te se so be? mum: Ade lo de ni me: why do you think she did that? mum: Because she thought it was better and do you think you know better. me: ki lo wa ni be? mum: kinla ni. She had nicknames for myself and siblings.... depending on your personality ..... My mum is a strict disciplinarian ...can beat for Africa and would be boasting with it...arggghhh...when she finishes beating you...she will give you paracetamol and tell you to sleep. The composing song part is usually a warning before the beating...,could take as long as 3days that she would be dishing out different lyrics.... She taught us to pay one tenth of everything.... new notes only to be given as offerings....my piggy bank life I learnt from her....She bought every household item in dozens/half dozens ...never encouraged buying in ones'. You don't play anyhow in school ooo....cos you will start with the laundry of your socks and undies yourself first before she completes it...the corner of our socks must be clean.... When we finish cooking....food is turned to cooler and pot washed immediately even if it is jollof rice.... ![]() I wish she gave me indepth gist of marriage, pregnancy, delivery and raising children.......that sometimes we would laugh in pain ,cry in pain, cry when happy and laugh when happy.... Now I look forward to her calls and call her to jist..... Shebi , we know we too are already forming a pattern with our children especially those with grown children amongst us....am sure they know 'mummy' for one thing or the other.... ...this place is too quiet joor.... |
