@jazzyjazz, lucioustrish has said it all.....start gradually with soft noise ....my MIL would play songs from my phone by my son's pillow when he was a baby...I had to ask why one day and she made me understand it was for my own good ( I worship in MFM so truly it's for my own good as DS can sleep even during prayers) Just start gradually and keep at it...it doesn't have to be loud...you can even dance to music at home( gradually increase the volume per day and see how he reacts) @blackFTM , babyhugg is it...look for it as much as you can...you will be glad you did @hopeonGod,try not to worry or would I say think too much ....do pray for him ( for whatever reason he might have left ( whether intentional or not, you need him back in your home). You are in our prayers |
Sansa143:same as my son but my Mum says babies are never hot in the sense that don't be tricked to thinking they need so much air but, I dress him per weather ( never overdress or under dress) Just see your paed to confirm any issues. |
@luscioustrish :- damp wash cloth did it for me as DS teeth started coming out @ 14 months thereabout . Enjoy the mouth cleaning now ooo as when you want to start using brush as more comes out...na fight ooo. Sabi mamas, how do you brush your toddlers teeth in peace without struggle? @sansa143 Some babies sweat profusely during the deepest part of their nightly sleep cycle and end up soaking wet. Because babies spend much more time in this deepest stage of sleep, they're more likely to sweat during the night than adults or even older children. Possible cause for concern: Sweating is very common, but excessive sweating could mean that something isn't right. For example, excessive sweating – especially when eating – can be a sign of congenital heart disease as well as various infections and sleep apnea. Overheating is also a risk factor for sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) . What to do about it: The room your baby sleeps in should be warm but not hot. Set the room temperature to a range that feels comfortable to a lightly clothed adult. Dress your baby in the amount of clothing that you'd be comfortable sleeping in without covers. Resist the urge to bundle her up and keep blankets, quilts, and comforters out of her crib. As a rule of thumb, remember that if you're too hot, your baby probably is too. If the house is cool and your baby is dressed lightly and still sweating, talk with her doctor. read more here :- https://www.babycenter.com/0_baby-sleep-habits-snoring-sweating-head-banging-and-more_1467374.bc?page=2 |

I use this and it works, press and put in her nose a little , then release. The mucous is extracted into the bulb after which you pull out the white hold and rinse off. cc: Giddyperson

You can mix the drinks with water anyways so it isn't too sugary. That's what I did for my DS from 7 months( when he wasn't even ill). I have never given him bobo and the likes to date ( He will be 2 years in September) . I only do ribena, lucozade and malt drinks( I mix with water a lil). Other mamas will give their suggestions. Wishing you an ease filled week. |
temmytee1:Thank God for recovery... eku itoju.... What I do is give fluids( lucozade boost, ribena and water ( i put water in sippy cup where DS can reach) with cartoons as distraction but, since she is 7months she can't reach the cup on her own yet. I would suggest giving her lucozade boost/ribena/water with spoon. I then used the fried fish and meat for attraction purposes..... a bite here or two and we are good to go. Sabi mamas would respond. ahnie:Me sef onion gang.... Rashes disappeared viam I use onion juice for my hair too once in a while and it works. It's amazing how these inexpensive things we "commonise" work. How's the family? certain great. See me staring at pregnant women in church today and was assuming twas moi. |

@sansa143, I did 5 years implant as 3 years wasn't available and I reduced in weight . ( No diet ooo, intact I ate anyhow) .was 65kg pre -preggy, 75kg Preggy and post Preggy 60kg. Garden eggs really helped my stomach especially , I second ahnie's comment on that. The Health care professional that did the implant gave me some additional important information: 1. Do not lift heavy items or use the hands for strenuous activity for a week( 7days) 2. No "Doing the Do'' for a week ( I extended mine till 10 days) 3. Ensure that spot is kept dry also for a week especially when bathing ermmmmm Naomi14, yes it fails sometimes, the woman that came to redo the arm implant before me actually said she got pregnant while the implant was in and had to come remove when she noticed she was preggy . Planning to remove mine soon as hubby has started telling me of different people that birthed around the time I did and the "baby igbayen "now have aburo Quick question mamas? Please can twins be birthed through VD? ![]() |
Congratulations ma'am |
Gaily04:Ma'am, Howdy? Thought I had replied ooo. How's LO and LO's dad? Don't worry, it would be found. |
babythug:Not in the past ooo, It is still adhered to( General Hospitals though) When I was to be discharged in Sept 2015 with DS, Hubby came with his well starched native yellow and blue ( yellow more pronounced). He was politely excused and had to wait outside, I then explained better to him and he had to go change . We weren't even told during antenatal about jaundice /this yellow clothing thingy. ![]() I had shopped a lovely yellow background blanket and a cardigan set for DS( I kept it away till he was 4 months before I started using ![]() |
As seen online, Lovely right?
