If purchasing new stuff for your client won't lead to additional charges, I think it's the most honorable thing to do.
Refunding at 330 isn't fair. Your client isn't the reason why seller refused to sell and did a refund.

I bet this guy also saw your competitors before coming to you for reasons best known to him and instead of you to appreciate that, you are giving him options because the money is in your possession. How many options did the guy give you before making payment. Were you charged any money by PayPal for refunding to you. I simply cannot understand something here or is there something in your mind you are not releasing? Try and handle this guy's issue amicably and professionally, leave those words of yours by the side as it would not help at all.

@omoskenso, you are even lucky the guy accepted receiving the refund as some people will deny ever receiving the refund.

To all, leave this PayPal thing if you are not sure of getting your money back from your seller when the hammer strikes. "O mere n' uzu o ga-eme n'onwa"(if it didn't happen today, it will happen tomorrow). Look for another website and buy from there with your card. Shikina.

Thanks for your concern and I still maintain my option 1-3.. which buying for him again is out of it... So 2 options left... I don't take what is not mine nor tolerate lies .. he called me on phone to pay him naira and I replied him via WhatsApp with available options.. I could have purchase an item for him without requesting a dime but he bliv say he's smart and am ready for his worst because when I made almost 10k lose on one of his transaction I begged him to let me opt for refund he said no that's my mistake and I should welcome the loss..

I employed the services of an E-currency seller "Durosure" for eBay checkout of $129.14 and we settled 380/$.

this happened on may 31... checkout was done before He gave me naira because we play alot while trading and even consult each other. he suppose to pay 385 But i let go the 5 naira when he said 380 he had planned for. he matched up from 49,072 to 49,500 as i requested

deal went fast n smooth(very commendable) but i got a rude shock the next day when i logged in into my account that the seller issued a full refund based on the device was faulty(which is beyound my control as sellers has right to).

He told me about the refund around 9;50pm june 1st and I acknowledged the refund around 1am june 2nd


I called him that evening to let him no and he say he would check and he later confirmed but said it would take 7 days for the money to reflect in his account as against what i know.

Have waited 14 days before paypal refund appears in my bank account before.. So anyone familiar with paypal will know payment made through card could be delayed.

and i sent him my account details only for him to say if he must refund it,it would be at the rate of 330/$ as against our initial 380/$ and up till now he refused to send me money

1) Give me paypal email i will send your money there

2) Get A refund in Naira at the rate of 330/$

3) I do check checkout for you again with the fund and you pay me 10/$ i spend for you

I could have done the checkout for you again without demanding kobo which i wont even collect from you in the first place, had it been you respect yourself, unfortunately you over played your smartness by asking me to send you naira back at 380/usd .. this made me to offer you 330/usd if you want refund in naira and thats final i can do for you if you choose that option. If you want me to risk my paypal account to make payment for you again my brother you will pay 10/usd i spend on checkout.. Because if my paypal got blocked you surely find another exchanger....

you can can as well give me a Pp account and i will send the amount you bought from me to the Pp account provided..

currently now i have over 2k usd stock in different paypal accounts because of refunds... any frequent Pp exchanger knows that Refunds and chargeback from strong Pp account is detrimental to any pp account
