I'm also starting this March though I should have planted earlier. I've been having problem with pumping water from the river for irrigation, seems the land is to high from the river.

I will try my best though because I have eight acres.

Now I have some farm inputs I bought but I don't think I will be able to use all for now. I will rather sell and use the money for other farm works.

I do spray mine with foliar fertilizer very 5days. During early fruiting stage i do alternate 11-46 and 13-46 but once the fruits are much i use only 13 - 46

yes sure. Just as striker is for maize plant, star force for cassava plant so is potasun for tomatoes plant.

1. A month 2. 150ml per 16l. If it touch tomato plant it will not kill it. I always do ring weeding then spray furrow.

potasun is very effective if your unwanted weed is grass. It will kill all the Grass and leave tomato and some broad leaves.

Sir, please at what stage of tomato can someone apply this herbicide? And also what is the quantity on 16L sprayer?
And are we to spray the tomato together with weeds the way we spray selective herbicide for maize like 2-4-D?

1. Both fungicide and insecticide till you stop harvesting. 2. Some apply it every ten days but I apply just three times throughout the live cycle.

I took 6 crate to market this morning which is the last harvest on 10g, total harvest is 140 crate excluding not viable one which I normally sold 3.5k per crate...so am not more a novice. Another set on field and nursery.... loading...

Please how much is crate in your area now?
Here in Oyo town the market is too dull for local tomato, about #500 per bucket

Sometimes it's not about the max yield, but about your ability and wat you can handle.
If you have good agro practices(GAP) like the honourable op, u can use 30cm but if not, go for a wider distance like 50cm.
