HedwigesMaduro:It's not about the cloth, what is he doing around the military checkpoint if not to provoke them. It's like going into lion den, or staying in the middle of express Lane expecting not to be crushed. What business does such an old man expected to be wise dangling himself around the military with a mission. Sorry to say, SERVE HIM RIGHT. |
The question I need ask is, why parading around the military station if there is no intention to incitement and provocation. Every other person were going about their business but he went into their base. Let's call a spade what it is, he shouldn't be confronting them. At the beginning of the video, no one harass him but he stayed there in the middle of the road. |
BLAISECAMPAORE:This is where I have problem with most of our brother from South East. You alway believe your contribution of tax make Lagos what it is. So sorry, it's not so at all. Tinubu make Lagos IGR what it is today by creating enabling business environment. In the near future, Lagos IGR will be x3 of what it is today because of inflow of foreign investment it attract. When Tinubu was planning LFTZ and Eko Atlantic, little did the like of you know that more prosperous business is coming to Lagos. And the more the business the more the tax. If your contribution was what make Lagos what it is, how come the total population in the East, which is far more than the whole Easter people living in Lagos, contribution not more than that of Lagos alone. My brother think. |
Really |
Lagos state developmental program transcend beyond infrastructure but strong policies that aid social economy and safety development. This is one major reason I detest Ambode for trying to destroy that structure. It's not just building roads, bridges etc but strong institutions and policies. You wonder why Lagos IGR is continuously rising, look at their policy around enabling investment. Ibeju lekki for example, Lagos partner Kelaram, China Harbour and NPA to build new sea port, around it is Free trade zone where lots of company are encouraged to established with less tax burden, Alaro city for corporate and residential, Lagos smart city etc. All these corporations and workers will inturn pay income and property tax in the near future. It is strong policy that develop. |
Loushinalistic:You guys are the like that make lots of project in Nigeria abandoned. Asking him what his personal projects were. That's exactly what your Ambode did, abandoning all fashola project, if sanwolu had done the same You would not have the bridge. Encourage Good Things |
How can we make this awareness go round the fulanis. Perhaps knowledge and seeing things the other way could help them see reason for ranching. Moreover, those politicians investing in livestock should also build ranching. Private investors can also building ranch inform of ranch collocation and charge fee per head of cow for usage. Feeds could be bought right in the farm. Let's fine a lasting solution |
Well, she should take heart. They should have known that protest that last longer than 10days usually turn violent. Check around the world, it's the same everywhere. If they had encouraged everyone to calm and give government chance to address issues raised, miscreants wouldn't have the opportunity to hijacked the beautiful protest. It's sad. My sympathy to you. |
stag:Then don't you think we are destroying ourselves while the North takes the advantage. You guys should think well |
Achuwa1:Here is our problem. Easy to judge. Trader moni and Npower were successful under Osinbajo. The method he adopted, directly reaching the masses rather than institutionalising the program made it successful. However, it was heavily criticised by the like of you. You guys prefer the government that will share the money within themselves just like NDDC, SUREP, and many others. |
Impressive. If adopted, perhaps the Nigeria economy might recover faster. Debt relief as proposed will lessen the outflow of dollar. We need sound economies like Ngozi to be in this Government ( only if Abuja will allow her perform her duty without interference). Tinubu, Okonje ticket will not be a bad idea |
Hmmm, Obasanjo |
cokerhope:I'm tired of this propaganda. It does more harm even to you that posted this. What do you stand to gain. I search through all the news papers, non seems to have record of your claim. Obasanjo donated part of his hilltop house as isolation centre. You killing this country the more, remember house divided by itself will not stand. When you point one finger at the government, the remaining 4 comes to you. Funny as it main sound, if we fail to abide by the truth only, our children will suffer the consequences. As you lay your bed, so you shall lie on it. Change your way, save Nigeria. |
Nice one mr Governor |
aolu Akande @akandeoj · 1h VP Osinbajo yesterday at the office conducted his meetings via video conferencing, while observing social distancing. Today, he continues his work from the home office, as he is in self-isolation in accordance with NCDC protocols

Well, it may be hard to digest, but that's the right thing to do especially if you are the business owner. Imaging you have a female domestic staff you are excited to see always, what would be your wife advice. The fact the you are spiritual does not mean you infallible. Every man meet somebody somewhere somehow, he is attracted aside his wife, so also every woman. The only way is run. Flee appearance of evil. Not that the lady is evil, the lady might not even seduce or interested in him. To keep your sanity, please run. |
Dee60:Thank you. Very few people think like this on nairaland. The years of assessment were the worst year for lots of companies. Lot of companies shut down, banks revenue dropped, oil revenue dropped, all these were evidence in the capital capital market. Foreign investment plummeted drastically. What do Lami or Nami expect. Fowler already set the pace for digital collection and revamp FIRS. It is so unfortunately that the same person will be riding on Fowler platform. We know how Fowler help Lagos and all other states that adopted the tax collection strategy are faring. |
