It seems the pockets of this govt of looting,by ooting & for looting pocket is dry & they want to encompass more wealth.
This is the same way they went about markets around the country before election to share 10k & 5k to people they claim are the most poor in a country where we don't have data base of the most vulnerable or even the rich.
Now,is another one they call "stimulus package" after corona is about to go or its vaccine already circulating tht they want to cash out quickly before the Corona goes away.

We are very confused in Nigeria. First the pandemic started with our so called leaders and their families.

Consequently, Nigeria’s overall tally stood at 300+ confirmed cases with 25 persons discharged and a death toll of four.

Recalled that, Nigeria’s Health Minister has confirmed that the country is expecting a medical team from China to help boost response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Minister Osagie Enahire was speaking at a briefing of the presidential task force in the capital Abuja on Friday.

“An 18-man team of Chinese medical experts including doctors, nurses and other medical advisers shall come along with the flight to assist us. I must at this juncture commend our frontline workers who are doing a great job in case identification and management.

“As we prepare to contain COVID-19, we must not lose sight of other health challenges in our country. Routine health service must continue in our hospitals. Only a wing of tertiary health centres should be used for infected patients.”

He further disclosed that more medical supplies donated to support the response was due in the country soon. “I have been notified of medical supplies from China, courtesy of a group of Chinese companies working here in Nigeria. A special cargo aircraft shall leave Nigeria in a few days to collect the items which include commodities, personal protective equipment and ventilators,” he added.

Mr Nami wants to pretend that the economy is as buoyant as it was during the early Jonathan years - 2011 and 2102. In fact, he wants us to quickly forget that oil prices were up, production was high and companies could pay more.

He is sounding like he wants to collect more from less. I hope he does not kill all the remain businesses.

There are 2 things that the current administration is bent on doing and that may totally run the country to bankruptcy. First one is raising taxes and the second is to trying to collect huge foreign loans when the prospect of paying back has become so slim (oil is losing its magic!).

Let us pray that PMB and his team will re-think.
