The forces fighting Fidelity no be here. Seems those forces are just bent on pulling it down by force. *Surprising thing is that people kept on buying these stocks inspite of price fall*. Wonders of NSE!.

Some of the buyers are long termers so the immediate buzz is not so much of a concern to them.

Except for those in Tier 1, NSEMPA members took some nice hair cut, Unfortunately there is nothing positive to drive any bull run, the market needs a fresh breath which is not in sight, monitor your portfolio and reduce loss

People don dey watch and wait since but then, what will drive any bull run now, nothing really, Q1 results have been released, we are gradually entering electioneering campaign season, funds will be pulled out, Q2 is still far away, just thinking out loud

This is usually done on saturdays for selected players as contained in the information, I just think it is better to pass the success/failure of the test to a public forum and not when the test will be carried out. It's not a biggy though but then some information are sent based on trust and expected to be treated with utmost confidentiality, in any case, the success or failure of the test will not affect trading.

I don't think he's entirely wrong. During a scheduled "change", all relevant parties and users should be informed so that there won't be panic should there be failure or loss of "service" within that period.

This is akin to security forces informing the public that there will be a counter-terrorist drill.

My take though.

This is meant for network administrators and you get this message because you are a broker, I don't think you should divulge all information from NSE, this is a routine test. The success of the exercise could be a better information, I may be wrong though but just my thought

If a stock keeps going down, please sell and dump that stock, fidelity seems to be prospecting for crude oil, there was a time I was in access, all other stocks kept inching up in price appreciation and this was my trading fund, I had to leave the stock, looking back months after the sentiments of investors about the stock is still the same ...

It was not, but FY17 was too bad and they needed to resort to profit reportage for Q1 at the very least to save face.

But then if it's concentrated in a stock, when news or funny events unfold, you wouldn't rest on your oars except you are the owner of the company or you know what others don't know.
