Chibuking81: You made a very good point, I also agreed that they deal has gone up to 88%, but remaining 12% should not be write off, they will still get their shareholders approval in their coming general meeting before the deal will be sealed. In Nigeria the more one look, the less he/she see.
We should not rule market manipulators out, before the deal, access bank and their directors seems to have some stake in Diamond bank, and should government revoke diamond bank license like that of Skye bank, it will affect their stake.
They might make the deal look real to buy more time for diamond bank to survive, and bail out to those believing that the deal will go through, and once diamond bank release a little good result in their 2018 final year, they will collapse the deal and Defend Diamond bank price not to go below #1 again.
But if the deal is sealed, 1. what will be your thought towards increase in the number of their existing outstanding share through the right issue, and adding of constructed diamond bank share to the existing share of Access bank? 2. Will it not affect their EPS, and price? 3. Will they still give a reasonable dividend this year? I agree that anything can happen but really it’s a done deal in principle, you can relate with current diamond bank staffs preferably top management like branch managers, you will understand my position, the acquisition process has gone far. |

But when it comes to capacity, there is no emotional attachment, it’s better to stick with facts, zenith and GT can comfortably do it, fbnh has lots of debt to worry about. |

BackToLife: Great thread! Well, looking back at my life now, I realize that it was when I endlessly started listening to worship songs (Don Moen, Ron Kenolly, Micheal Smith, Nathaniel Bassey, etc.) that I started finding it hard to go back to sin. I think listening to worldly music subconsciously activate a urge for lust. So, I'll advise that all intending serious Christians should sacrifice the pleasure that these worldly music gives and replace it by in-filling and presence of Holy Spirit that comes with consistently being in His presence through worship. We that worship Him, worship in truth and in spirit. My 1cent. Awesome, also give time to daily reading and meditating on the word of God, that’s where we draw strength. Listening to gospel music, listening to messages and reading the Bible feed your spirit, this inturn will control your soul (emotions, choices and mind) and then ultimately control your body. So living inside out will help a Christian maintain a constant relationship with God. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Share Your Experiences, Steps And Tools For Attaining Holiness by Dwizeone: 9:21am On Dec 16, 2018 |
GeeStaff: Op, holiness is attained by relying on the finished work of Christ. If holiness could be accomplished through self performance, there would be no need for Christ to have died.
Observe the verb "made" (past tense), and how the emphasis is placed on Jesus and his sacrifice. BELIEVING that Christ has already made you holy is the surest way to LIVE right. Shalom. Not by works, yes but very essential, one must abstain from anything that will induce sin, consciously or unconsciously. |

rebekah2011: They have already recouped their investments in the bank. They are also sure that no one will prosecute them. I think it was time CBN allowed some banks to go down. It will reshape the sense of everyone. Allowing the bank to go down wouldn’t solve the problem, if Investors ain’t protected through sound laws and effective prosecution when management mess up like the case of Dozie, this kinds of event will keep repeating itself, some people in this forum are careful because of their experience in 2008, they seem to be loud but the experience was not a good one but there are unsuspecting new investors who will always fall prey. |

hardywaltz: WikeD the Unemployment Master..
Since he took over office in May 2015.
Sacked thousands of Timariv wokers
Sacked RSSDA staff
Incapacitated C4i
Grounded Greater Port Harcourt Authority and throwing most staff into the employment market
Abandoned overseas students.
Sacked some of the 13,000 teachers employed by his predecessor in the name of biometrics.
Later they will blame PMB for high unemployment rate. The major duty of a responsible government is to create an enabling environment with the right policies for business to thrive. If there is no need for employment or the state workforce is already overbloated why employ more, it will only add to recurrent expenditure without boosting productivity. Wike has embarked on some projects, he’s focused on infrastructure, mind you, when a project is ongoing ( road et all ), people are employed as well, so directly or indirectly he has employed people too. My good friend what is important is keeping these guys on their toes to do the right thing and not necessarily encouraging waste of government resources. |

The book is about himself and self glorification using continental motivation as the moet for self aggrandizement under the coloration of Africa's revolution.
Nice try though, but not necessarily the most brilliant strategy. Yeah you are right but it’s never too late to start. |

Thebabenextdoor: Claim what exactly? They have every right to claim asaba. Asaba is an Igbo community. if you have nothing reasonable to say keep shut Not exactly, maybe on a broader sense but you should recognize that Asaba is first in Anioma- south south and that is where they are recognized, they speak a variation of ibo that igbos understand. So it is not a thing of claim, it is what it is. |
