Students protest over bad road.....

Meanwhile, the students of the Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Owerri, FEDPONEK, and Federal University of Technology Owerri, FUTO, have described the state government as being insensitive to their plights. The students numbering over 900, marched from their various institutions to the state capital, demanding that the government should come and make their roads motorable. They also displayed their placards which read,

'We are dying here,' 'Where is the Rescue Mission?' 'Are these institutions not in Imo State, we are tired of promises,' 'Come and repair our roads,' among others.

Speaking to Vanguard, the Presidents of the Students' Union Government, SUG, of FEDPONEK and FUTO, Comrades Ike Emmanuel and Ezenwa Obinna, respectively said that they would continue the protest until their demands were not only given attention
but also solved.

PoliticsCan Nigeria Do Without Ibos by Dymaco(op): 11:48am On Jun 15, 2016
After reading what one girl irunoboo have been saying about ibos. i dont think Nigeria can never stand without ibos.
Ibos lost everything they have after nigeria civil war but yet they have bought over 60% landed property in lagos anambra kano and abuja. they are the main people driving the non oil sector. an ibo man do not wait for govt money.

ibos should be specially recognised by all.

The likes of Linda ikeji, flavor, tony elumelu and other successful igbos don't give a hoot about biafra. It's an agitation of the poor and frustrated miserable IPOB yoots who havebeen brainwashed by kanu that biafra is the solution to their self inflicted poverty grin

PoliticsRe: The Reason Why Other Tribes Don't Want Biafra by Dymaco(m): 9:21am On Jun 14, 2016
i agree with y ou on three points.
first...... thé reason why hausas are yet to dominate nigeria is because of igbo checkmate. its very hard to see an ethnic killing between hausa and yoruba unlike between ibos and hausas. hausas dont deserve a peaceful hand else u go turn to slave and that is what yoruba are preaching (peace)

secondly...... its only with united nation back up that biafra will secede from nigeria.

third..... biafra might be worse than nigeria if we do not plan well before secession.

PoliticsThe Parable Of A Country Nigeria by Dymaco(op): 9:58am On Jun 11, 2016
Nigeria is like a wealthy old man who have 36 children. At the age of 56 years, the sons still receive their upkeep money from the father without bordering on how to be self-suficient.

Its shameful that no state in nigeria cannot stand without federal allocation. this problem is linked to our leader who keep on waiting for federal allocation without bordering on how to improving their economy in their various state.
This same leaders will make us believe that their no money in the state pocket but hardly will state law maker be owned.
GREAT countries like usa china and britain practice a system of government where the state are responsible for federal upkeep through their taxes.
We can survive without oil. yes we can. our government have failed us.
we provide for every thing we need in nigeria.
education - private schools.
security - vigilante.
electricity - generator
water - borehole.
we provide for everything we use in nigeria. they made us to believe that we cant do without oil. who told them. before the discovery of oil, are we poor. Have we forgotten that regionalism once worked in nigeria. and we see how things are moving peacefully

let every state develop at their own pace with any resources found in their state.THANK GOD EVERY state have abundant resources. nigeria can never develop if we keep on depending on oil well.

support confederalism
support regionalism.

Sanity reigns when you do not have corrupt leaders at the helms of affairs.

MTN felt it was business as usual and they could easily buy their way through, the same way they have been doing in the past.

This is victory for sanity and anti-corruption.
