My wife used Sierra providence Hospital east campus. Their services was top notch, and it was a new hospital, looking like a five star Hotel. Anyway we did not use Doctorespati.

Dabira19:
Good afternoon, my ppl. Pls has anyone used Sierra Providence Hospital via Docotres parati b4? What was their services like? Thanks

Congrats. God has blessed you.

TheLeakyTribe:
It is my turn to share my testimony.

My LO was born yesterday 11th May 2016. Some of you would recall how my Dollars were stolen by my help before my trip. I was well prepared to follow it up and post everywhere about it but after my first doctors appointment here, the stolen money was irrelevant to me.

The doctor did a scan and said she found spots on my LO's heart that were indicative of either a hole in the heart or downs syndrome. I began to pray and believe God even though I was very shaken by the news.

Long story short, she arrived yesterday and is completely fine. She followed me straight from the OR to the postpartum recovery room. Join me praise the Lord. I'm one happy mumma.

We bought our baby's ticket from KLM office in Victoria island Lagos. I actually sent my friend to buy the ticket and link it with ours. i paid about 22k+....

Petdaughter:

@nefertitiram

Dear Nef, pls how did you add your infant on KLM. I used a travel Agency to book my ticket. I contacted them and they said it's the airline. Pls I want to know if I can pay the airline over the phone or to pay at the point of departure. Also how much did you pay so I can have an idea. Meanwhile the infant luggage allowance is so pathetic, how did you do Biko? Was it really 10kg as I saw on their website? Thanks a million

Someone told us a story last year on behalf of her sister, where her sister passed thru Abu Dhabi POE and was caught with her certificate, she was turned back.

Abu Dhabi POE is some thing else.

cindermum:
Hi All,

Just arrived chicago about an hr ago... we flew etihad airways and the flight was damn longgg. Took us 7hrs to abudhabi, 8hrs transit, and 14hrs to chicago cry cry @ 35weeks... while we were waiting, that was how one oyinbo came to call all of us waiting to travel to the US at the lounge in abudhabi. CBP in Abudhabi oh, then gave all of us landing cards to fill and said we will be called shortly by immigration. He explained that once we are cleared in abudhabi, we will just go straight to baggage claim in Chicago. He said it's a new service called US preclearance (kindly Google). To cut the story short, they built a terminal for this purpose and it's terminal 3. We all queued and when it got to my turn, na secondary inspection sure pass. Husband n I were the only Nigerians and some Indians. It wasn't so bad but that 15mins I spent there was the longest 15mins mins of my life... in my mind I was just like this ppl won't even ve mercy on me that is a first timer to even see America na for abudhabi they go send somebody back. Lol. Will post my transcript shortly after this so this post won't be too long.

Shelly23 thank u very much.

i have been on ur page for somedays now, trying to get details of processing naija visa. Anyway, i felt they might delay my order, i had to use Tanko. Becos i have limited time left.

shelly23:
Just seeing this. Your best bet is to pay with money order cos the card thing is loooong (you Have to register the card with them by submitting all sorts).
When you get to the payment section, select money order and you'll see more options.

modath:

I believe it's been that $350 since time immemorial or was it $300?...

I know the difference will buy baby some clothes but what i did was to tell myself , it was part of medical cost (had it in my budget though) ... How long do you have left in the US?
Travel / Re: Give Birth In USA: Cost And Procedures Part 3 by dyout: 4:47am On Jan 09, 2016
i don't know what to advice u. My baby was born the same day 15th of Dec.

I pray God will see through. Your baby shall be strong and healthy for you.

kkbabygirl:

I entered the US legally to deliver my baby. The baby was born in Dec 15.

Regrettably the baby was born with a congenital heart disease called trunsuc artheriosis. She has had two heart surgeries and is currently in the hospital. She has lived all her life in the cardiovascular intensive care unit.

At the moment, the doctors are uncertain of her discharge date. Additionally the baby is billed for more hospital visits and surgeries in the future.

Unfortunately, the health care delivery in Nigeria cannot guarantee my baby a better care. I have confirmed that our hospitals are ill equipped and have poor manpower and skill to manage the baby health. The baby's condition is such that she will require a periodic hospital visit and future replacement of some valve in the heart.

I am skeptical of taking my baby back home. While I am praying for her complete recovery, it is my desire to remain in the US and watch my baby have the best health care in the world.

Please I need advise on how to achieve this.

Thank you.

Thank u very much.

Omo…… Tanko is calling $350 for naija Visa. i am thinking of doing the ETC Which is $270 from reviews i got here

modath:

I procured baby's naija visa through an agent, i love to save a buck but when i weighed the cost of what extending our tickets (other people's experiences) cos naaija embassy are unreliable, I just saved myself the emotional drama ...

Nef didn't do by herself as well, she used Emergency travel certificate & if i can remember , Phema & Tvegas used agents as well!

@ kkbabygirl ,
Seek the help of an immigration lawyer in the US, i believe that may help.... E Hug..

Southwest Airline has 2 baggage allowances and their landing airport is Dallas love-field. It is better u make enuf timing btw ur landing and ur taking off. I think u can get Delta Airline from DFW to Houston, but it will be expensive at this time.

But, since ure adventures u can try the 4hours bus tin.

Best of luck

It all started first, My wife and i finally got PTA from fidelity bank PH and Lagos respectively @199.05, after Access Bank stop selling the same day firstymum recommended, thanks.

Wify left Lagos on wednesday via KLM(Lagos-Amsterdam-Atlanta-Dallas). At MMI, luggage search was not done (when they notice she was pregnant, she couldn't lift her luggage) the man said carry ur wahala they goo...lolz. Had excess luggage of extra 3kg but was waived. No fit to fly was asked. Also booked wheelchair with assistance, Don't want to hear any story. She only used wheelchair in Atlanta, almost missed her connecting flight to Dallas.

Got to Amsterdam, took 4hrs layover before heading to Atlanta. POE gist:

CBP: what are u here for?
Wify: Vacation and child birth (She shouted the child birth)
CBP: Why are u fidgeting?
Wify: I am not fidgeting, just tired and i also told the Embassy of my child birth
CBP: Nope.... from our system u did not inform the Embassy
Wify: brought out the change of intent letter to/from the embassy
CBP: What do u do?
Wify: I am a Doc
CBP: why do u want to give birth in the USA?
Wify: for expert mgt
CBP: Is dat not irony for expert mgt and u are a doc in Nigeria
Wify: anyways Dats my preference I smiled
CBP: Wow... that is lovely and how much do u have?
Wify: i have $7,500 (it was not counted)
CBP: make sure you pay ur bills and keep ur receipts

He was asking all theses questions after stamping me till April next year
No Agriculture and she went with all the recommended food stuff, small palm oil and noodles. Gods favor all through. Her luggage was not searched through out her journey.
Chilling in Dallas for some days before porting El paso.

Forgive my typos
