Its all about the comic relief when other things are failing. For me my vote goes to Jenifa. Sulai ken, Ayetoro ken ![]() |
congoshine:Sorry bros. I'm too passionate about our beloved state. One explanation suffices, If the state were flowing with milk and honey according to the propagandists, a lot of us will have gone back home. With all the suffocating environment of Lagos(tax this, VIO that and such other nonsense) bros, I looking forward to resettle in the state if only the so-called industrial and developmental projects are there. |
congoshine:Bros, I'm sure u're one of the OGD thugs. Honestly, they all have a way of standing truth on its head. I can readily name some of them. Remember, even the Supreme court confirmed that the Ogun State election was rigged. The facts are there. Now on Dipo Dina and some publications he did on OGD's monumental corruption, the only defence the govt had was that he obtained information illegally, not that they refuted any of the allegations. OBJ's role in the fraud that was 2003 election is well known. |
dove6:This is the most stupid reply on this thread. The mumu even talked about industrialisation and blah blah. Obviously you are in love with newspapers and hold sancrosantly whatever propanganda you are fed with. What OG state has gained under Gbenga Daniel amounts to tokenism compared to the quantum of funds accruing from the Federation account. The reign of OGD is akin to the reign of terror, a state of lawlessness, a state of unhindered grab grab. Madness at its peak, no room for dissenting views while the state is motionless. Please get the facts. In Ogun State, dissent is silenced, chorus singers are hailed and the 'correct' politicians are happy. |
Bros, even if u are a newbie, suppose read rules na. Pix and VIN. Is that too much ![]() |
At The Guardian's Silver Jubilee lecture in Lagos recently, Mr. Raila Odinga the Prime Minister of Kenya jokingly said 'when America sneezes, Europe catches cold; Asia develops pnuemonia and Africa's tuberculosis gets worse' Is this an apt description of the American hegemony? |
The Lagos International Trade Fair is the biggest discount fair and Exhibition in Nigeria and indeed Africa. The 2008 LITF will hold from 7th to 16th November 2008. It continues to live to its billing of the biggest ever trade fair in Nigeria, with over 2000 local and international companies participating and more than 2 million visitors every year. A lot has gone into preparing for this year's edition- provision of security, traffic control, liaison with transport operators, road show in other to other countries, massive publicity in print and electronic media and many more. The Trade fair yearly attracts people from all over the federation. It holds at the Trade fair Complex on Badagry Expressway, after Mile 2, LAGOS. Are you coming for the 2008 LITF? |
Tnx a million. Getting one this week. |
Thanks a lot. I noticed that the dashboard of the SE is different from the other types. Do you advice the SE model? Or what do you think? |
@ all I need enlightenment on features that distinguish the various Toyota Camry models; CE, LE, SE, XLE etc. What main feature sets the SE apart from the CE and LE. I saw an XLE recently that wasn't a V6. So I'm really confused. |
@klan I'm happy for you. Between Inspired and your Driver, there lies the truth somewhere in-between. You will agree with me that in business there are sometimes missteps, the bottomline for the guy is success in the deal. Appreciate the guy's point of view, it doesn't mean he is a fraudster or dubious. I got my current car from my regular car dealer, a guy I buy cars from almost on a yearly basis. Even the mechanic I took along said it was a good car. On closer scrutiny, got to know that it was accidented but cleverly patched up. Today, the dealer and I are still friends, his dealership is flourishing and my car runs smmooooooothly! Allow the youngman to run his business. He is not Mother Theresa, ethical consideration or altruism really doesn't come to play. |
ziontrain:Who is this? You mean people only respond or contribute to issues because they are somebody's 'boy'? Come on man. And see the tone of his arrogant contribution, 'I have decided blah blah blah, ' What arrant nonsense. |
@ Inspired Must you post your VIN? Success is not measured by playing to the gallery. It is by being different and being principled about it. How many of the so-called 'opposition' are potential buyers that you must pander to their whims. The business rule should be obeyed. If anybody is interested enough to want to patronise you, let him/her send an e-mail requsting for the VIN. Its your game and it must be by your rules. Like they say, if you have a good mousetrap, people will clear a footpath to your doorstep. Chin up man. |
@all When elders that are supposed to mediate now starts judging, s'thing is definitely wrong somewhere. If Yahoo! or whoever has any beef with Inspired, this is not the best forum to vent his spleen. Let him take that to Western Avenue. The main issue is the allegation of being a fraudster. If nobody can affirm or substantiate that, then why all the story. I'm sure there are businessmen on this forum and those who are on that train can confirm that it is not for the lily-livered. How many successful businessmen actually went to school? The Zenon boss learnt printing. What about the man of the moment, Dangote? And several others. Chief Adeola Odutila of blessed memory was one of the most successful men in Nigeria during his time and he didn't go beyond secondary school. That Inspired is making waves is by hardwork, the tactics might not be totally ethical(in business?) but give it to the guy, he is delivering on promises. For a young man to show that much tenacity of purpose and zeal, he should be commended. If buyers don't like what they are getting, they have options. It is still a buyers market. Abi na by force? Inspired, kudos man, rise above the pettiness. |
@poster, Someone raised some issues on one of your deals in another thread and you have not bothered to respond(re - Toyota Matrix). Please respond to that to protect the integrity of the forum and your person. Good enough you have your phone contact details in the public arena. Wish you luck ![]() |

Whao! This is tough. Dan's the man. Bye to 'Cool FM Candid phone' and 'Phone tapping' ! |
@hilli People are talking about bringing up kids, you are talking about how Nigerians are frustrated. What arrant nonsense. And you mean you'll woz your folks for any reason at all? Bros, please like Nairalanders always say, focus on the topic. |

Societe Generale Bank of Nig. Ltd has started verification of its depositors. If you will recall, they were already under the hammer of insolvency before the consolidation. Is this a new license or do we say a new powerblock is beginning to rear its ugly fangs? |

Are there consultants in the house who are familiar with writing achievable Business plans? Please post your e-mail on this thread and I will get in touch with you. Urgent pls. |
@ETOETO What rubbish. Is this guy serious at all? Coming to Nigeria with lots of money as if we are hungry. My friend there are various investment options in Nigeria and exporting some rundown trucks from Finland is definitely not one of them. Serious investors know what Nigeria can offer them. Etisalat is currently investing over USD 1billion in our telecoms sector among others. The biggest financial services company in Australia is currently considering a huge investment in the Nigerian economy among others. I wonder when Nairaland became a hunting ground for the less privileged. Mr. Etoeto, take your money and trucks to Zimbabwe where you'll get value for it. Good luck ![]() |
@kobojunkie & sultaan, Over time, i'come to appreciate your contributions on this forum. But let me tell you this, we are talking about a situation whereby people tell imaginary stories about the efficiency or otherwise in Nigeria. Now my point is this, yes we do deserve better than getting a license in 3 weeks, we do know Nepa does not work. The way forward is not by excessive taxation and overburdening the people. Advocates of federalism have always canvassed autonomy for the federating units. Remember MOT? It is still in force. If you commit any offence in Lagos now, before you are fined, you must produce your income tax certificate. Houses and places of business are being demolished, acquired by the state and re-allocated to the elites all in the name of buiding a mega city. A new state license is an unnecessary burden which Lagosians do not need now. |
