a lot is going on in my head ryt nw,just confirmed the latest tt ryt nw.nysc hasnt given us any reason for this sin they have committed,camp is nw 16 days instead of 21days,camp to some peiple is one of the best experience tru out the service yr,in short we hav bn short changd,i just want to know how nysc wanna compensate us for this emotional stress we are made to go through,is alawee gonna increase? are we gonna have a better service yr?
more disheartening is we youths,graduates at that have accepted this stupidity and dnt wanna challenge em,yet we wanna see change bt we dont want to be agents of change,one major reason Nigeria will never develop,we allow these people feed us shit every time and we aint ready to question them,change my foot.
i just wish a few of us that believe in accountabilty will push on and at least make nysc realise that we wont allow them take us for a ride.
lets all rise up for once and say no to this impunity,say no to this callousness say no to this time wasting say no to this injustice and say no this insensitivity.

JUST A LITTLE ADVICE REGARDING GETTING A JOB (WHETHER PAID OR NOT) AT TIMES LIKE THIS

1. Prepare a standard formal CV (possibly using the new format) and print up to 15-20 copies
2. Write corresponding Application Letters for 15-20 establishments applying for Intenship or Industrial Training or Short-Term practice/Job
3. Parcel both of them (one copy each) in corresponding 15-20 envelops
4. With a dress code that correspond to the respective organisations (I will recommend being formal regardless of what their common dressing is), began to pay them a visit submitting the corresponding Letter + CV
5. On arrival on the organisation, note that you'll be JUDGED on EVERYTHING. Even if you meet your brother in there, be as formal and as professional as possible.

NB:
1.There are many things you are required to say and do (depending on the scenario, organisation and individual) to enhance your chances of not only being taken, but to be put on a payrole. Your discretion is greatly needed.
2. Don't bother to go to standard organisations like Banks, Telcos, etc. These organisations have a system of operation that will not grant your request. Look for smaller organisations instead. Your discretion is also needed.
3. Even though you get turned down, this will give you an idea of how the real world operates and what awaits you after your service year.
