A letter written since 2015 and has been in public domain ever since is now called "shocking". Nairaland is really a dump site as described by Oby Ezekwesili. |
Nairaland keeps going lower and lower everyday. 2nd position is now greater than 1st position. divinecode101: |
And his killer is a leader in PDP working hard to elect Atiku. |
These 2 guys are the front runners for the presidency of the Internet Republic of Nigeria. |
Nairaland, it is called knock-down, not knock-out. Knock-out is when the person is unable to get up and continue fighting. |

But Oshiomole became governor in 2008 before Jonathan became president in 2010. So how could Jonathan have rigged to prevent Oshiomole from becoming a governor and then prevent him from becoming a former governor? Someone who does not know basic facts want to become president. What is even more painful is that almost everybody who has commented on this thread's first page does not seem to know this simple fact too. Yet we think only our leaders are dumb. |
What an expressway to lose. |
Nairaland will never change. "Learn from my father's achievements" is changed to "learn from my father's mistakes". Smh! |
Sounds fishy |
Nonchalant moderators of Nairaland will post anything just for money. He knelt down for prayers and not to beg. See this http://www.networknews.com.ng/2018/10/stop-negative-narratives-patrick.html |
This so-called Davido is supposed to be in NYSC camp, yet there is no outrage. By how much is he better than those currently serving? Now that he has dabbled into politics, I hope he can take whatever comes his way. |
It is not juju. It happened to me last year at Allen Avenue. I lost 12k out of 24k they paid me even after I counted it. I went back there the next day but I could not find the culprits. Instead I met another set of criminals who pretended they don't do such. At first they told me it was juju and that the set of criminals have since moved to other locations. I refused to believe that it was juju. I pressed them for almost 1 hour rubbing minds with them and assuring them that I won't involve the police since 12k is quite small. After a while they agreed to show me what happened. They brought out 100k, asked me to count it. It was 99k after I counted. They added 1 more piece to make it 100k. I recounted it and it became around 50k. About 50k had "disappeared". They repeated the process of "vanishing" the money before my eyes and I learnt the trick. It is not juju. In fact, nothing like juju. The trick is this. They give you a bunch of money, say 25k. You count and realized it is actually 24k. You hand the money back to the person who starts counting in the presence of everyone. There would be 2 or 3 other persons standing beside you. When their main man counts to the 24th piece, the rest of them will shout "twenty-four". One of them will simultaneously hit you on the shoulder in a friendly manner as the rest of them shout "twenty-four, oh na twenty-four". They would even shout it loud inside your ear like the screeching "kukuruuku". In less than a second, the shout and the hit will distract you and make you turn your head away from the counted money briefly. In that fraction of a second that you are distracted, the main guy would use his right hand to divide the 24 pieces into 2 and then swiftly transfer one half to his back pocket. After the distraction, as your head turns back to the money, you then see his hand coming from his back pocket bringing only 1k note as if he is adding the missing one piece to the other 24 pieces you thought was still in his hand, not knowing it is now 1 plus 12. Because you and the guy counted 24 pieces before and you witnessed the plus 1 that came from his back pocket, you will be 100% sure what he is giving you is now 25k. Then you collect without counting again. 99% of all humans would do the same thing by not counting again. At the same time, the rest of the guys that surrounded you would be standing so close to you that you would fear pick-pocketing and want to leave their midst fast. They will be asking you for drink money and that would want to make you leave them even faster. In my case, the 50 Euro I gave them was torn and because I didn't want it rejected I left there in a hurry. That then played in their favor. After I learnt the trick, I felt happy despite having lost about 12k because it further confirmed my conviction that there is nothing like juju. |

This does not look like a new house. Look at the wall in the second picture again. |
This is a fake Nnamdi Kanu. The real one is hiding under his bed. |
Oil accounts for over 70% of our GDP and not 15%. Use your brain! shervydman: |

My sister sent me these pictures of bullet and bullet holes as a result of gunshots rained on them by soldiers in Ojoo barracks Ibadan. One of the bullets narrowly missed her head and hit a wall. Fences, walls and roofs in the area are riddled with bullets. Residents are fleeing in droves for their safety. This ordeal started since Monday and it is still on going. It seems the soldiers are having some shooting practice but this is putting the lives of residents in the area at grave risk. Please well meaning Nigerians who have contacts in the Nigerian Army should call the authorities' attention to this for it to stop. Thanks. Mods, please this is very urgent. Help push to front page.

How did this shit get to front page? Oh I forgot! This is Nairaland, where the mods don't check before they post. smh. |
Rubbish post. Did they tell you he used banks for collecting ransoms? This reasoning is very unintelligent. Next? |
Nairaland mods will not take this to front page because Fayose is their man. I wonder why only the wrong people are their men. |
Pavarottii:****They tried to lynch him because he is siding with Saraki over their own Buhari. |
This guy na man! |
You borrow 305 bn and pay back 361 bn after 15 years. What is wrong there? Is it not a loan? This is very misleading because the interest paid back is 56bn and not 361 bn. |
Great! |
This is a curse for sure |
Misleading headline. Nairaland needs to start employing trained journalists as mods or train them as journalists. Nobody said those words you put in inverted commas. He simply said when things get wrong they would be asked to resign but he doesn't want that. Not that there are calls for him to resign and that he is refusing to. |
American time. He had not changed the time settings of his twitter account to Nigerian time. Sahara Reporters are based in the US, so why change to Nigerian time? |
