1. Daniel craig really. Stamped his print on the franchise with this movie
2. We got to know about bond's childhood which is new
3. The villain is the most unique and realistic
4. The movie is deep and passes a deep message
5. M's departure from the franchise was moving as it was shocking
6.The return of Q, moneypenny and Male M
7.The action scenes are very realistic
8.It is the highest grossing. Bond movie till date
9. Truly original story
10. Mad ass soundtrack
11.Perfect storyline
12. MI6 was the focus this time
13.Breath taking scenes
as tempted as I am to shred this review in pieces I will love it if one of you could help me tell this guy why his views even makes skyfall worse than it was before

Hmmm naijans always catching trips anyway it looks like fun I will shred. No.3 hated that villain, really silly. one of the campiest and dumbest villains not only for a bond movie but for any movie at all, a spanish dude that works for MI6 like that is not bad enough he is stationed in china?SIN1 How is that realistic?who thought up that idea should be sacked, arrested and shot for impersonating a talented writer
SIN2 this is the least creative bond villain in the series (prepare to have your mind blown away) this villain's physical appearance is stolen from max zorin in AVTAK,his dress sense is also stolen from zorin, he has the nasty mouth of dominic greene didn't surprise me though greene's nasty mouth made QOS enjoyable and memorable., he stole the disguise routine from the nameless villain in casino royale his death scene was even stolen from the moore bond film for your eyes only. That is just bond alone o the guy also sails into batman territory and feasts on the heath ledgers joker character , willem dafoe in speed 2 and to an extent I think they exploited gerard butlers riddler routine in that movie with jamie foxx(don't remember the name though but if you're jobless you can google it) nothing creative about him
SIN 3 this guy is totally forgettable: the guy can shoot, he can run he can hack anywhere in the world he plans assassinations like a freaking game of chess. But after that what else all these traits have been used and exploited endlessly by bond villains past so what new does this villain have? Does he belong to a secret cell of top politicians and businessmen? Does he possess skillful torture tactics, does he represent the real world of corporate greed and corruption doe he have CIA agents as henchmen what does he have that other villains don't? I will answer that for you NOTHING this one is just the cliche madman who has everything well planned and orchestrated but however loses simply because the script says so
SIN4 very unrealistic, this guy can do anything at anytime and at anywhere and the reason for this is so lame(he is a computer hacker) which is hardly possible especially with MI6 are you kidding? Apart from the fact MI6 computers are the most secured in the world, their computers would have to be connected to the accessible domain of the internet. So all the gas explosion,file decryption non of that makes any sense. Its so pathetic I feel sorry for javier bardem already, who would think that after his suffering early years as a stripper that he would only go forward in life to become a rodeo clown

That 1st scene Chase for me was exhilarating, the scene on the Indonesian boat too was beautiful and Daniel Craig was finally commanding. No doubt bond has been toned down now, that y i liked it. So if skyfall was so bad, that means most bond movies wud b rubbish cos i can't understand anybody wwould like brosnan 's cartoons or roger Moore's comedies.
Last last i think it's a racial thing. Blacks didn't like it but whites did.

#WORD besides did casino royale get any negative reviews if I can remember they only criticized daniel craig's appearance and performance or was it chinedu from the DVD stand that reviewed the movie for you?

It was too similar to the old and lame james bond movies it had it all the lame gadgets, the lame bond one liners, the lame bad guy with his "SECRET LAIR", moneypenny and freaking Q, the useless bond girl
Like that wasnot bad enough the whole "skyfall" thingy bond was obsessing about was a total batman rip-off. So now bond who is english/french and grew up poor is apparently a scottish orphan with a mansion and an alfred like gameskeeper
It lacked creativity and instead stole scenes from other successful movies
And for the first time ever the bond career timeline became an issue as you can't really decide if bond was still in the early years of his carEer as silva makes us believe or if he was at the bailing out period as he relates to moneypenny and Q as younger agents. Lame lame lame. I'm just glad I'm not alone

@darthmaul dude I said the attacks on MI6 was a premeditated attack carried out by a section of the russian military which is quite as clinical and professional as MI6, but all you could factor out of was "premeditated"? So it is actually easy to storm a court house surrounded by armed security guards?then you go a long to say skyfall is flawed but then move to defend a major flaw which is the court room scene as realistic? Dude what's the deal with this nuclear weapon quips you are always typing? First of all with jokes like that you have no future in comedy(my sympathies) secondly it was only thunderball that had that storyline and thirdly the story of inspector gadget and megalomaniac with a nuclear bomb is a combination of two stories well known
Megalomaniac: fidel castro wanted to rule the world and developed nuclear missiles for this purpose(the cuban missile crisis),hitler wanted to accomplish world domination,even obama is currently doing his best to remain the ruler of the world with his drone strikes.then as for inspector gadget can you remember the story of the korean assassin who made an attempt on the life of a defector with a flashlight gun and several pen guns(park sang hak)so yeah if the next bond has that storyline it would work and I will definitely be more thrilled than the boring unrealistic skybore. abi bros?

Being the best ever?, dont know about that but that's the price you pay when you live in the UK and their hypes. But come on now, it wasnt a bad movie. what did you expect when they are celebrating is it 50 years or so?
I guess you remenber when casino royale was released people criticised it massively but the movie proved most wrong.
About the scene where M was attacked at the hearing, that isnt unusual. Remenber The Living Daylights, The world is not enough (a bomb beat the MI6 security).

Hi nairalanders I just saw skyfall don't bury me yet I was saving it till I got a work free day and my home theatre.I can't belive you ppl are even arguing abt the movie being good or not, skyfall is not a good movie it is not even an okay movie it is a terrible movie by all standards the movie explored no new depth so M is a biitch who betrays her agents "big deal", moneypenny is a clumsy shot and a lady who doesn't knw what she wants "big deal" Q is an iidiot who cud not only trace the hacker that blew up MI6 but he also aided the villain in escaping"big deal" and bond is an orphan "big deal", all the director did was to twist the plot anyway he cud just so it wud follow the script thereby causing confusion and leaving every single scene in the movie with an exclamation mark and a question mark the dialogue was dry and NOT intelligent the emotions looked force all the action. Scenes were either weak or unrealistic. Every bond actor is remembered for something, sean connory was the bond for the cold war, roger moore was the comic bond, george lazenby was the bond that got married, timothy dalton was the boring bond, pierce brosnan was the sexy bond, daniel craig would have been the badass bond but nooooo sam mendes had to do the lazy adaptations and end daniel craigs unique run as well as demolish.the reboot and the new direction it was going.thumbs down skyfall, thumbs down
