Why is it that you are against freedom of speech?. You keep locking every thread you don't feel comfortable with. We are here to learn about Islam and see whether it's worth it to switch our religion but anytime a very informative thread comes up, you lock it. Are you a locksmith? ![]() |

For Bleep's sake, I thought we had put a final nail in the coffin of that bank. I guess, the dead can always ariseI'm still wondering on how they will resuscitate the bank and hope for people to lodge their money in there. Unless they want to take their business to Cote d'ivoire. |
Any problem?. Isn't that thread supposed to be dead? |
customers have no business with the court. their business or custom was with the bank.Well dem don use your money on their mistresses and if you go near them with any form of protest, na EFCC go carry you in. |
are most likely to be well-nigh- scams while The Extremely High Prices from Some Seller(s) are nothing BUT Stratetically Calculated SmokeScreen Extortions, The Reason being because an Average Nigerian is ''Wet behind the Ears'' ![]() |
I just pity Okocha because he was not smart enuf 2 know etim all d while, he has beef in his veins. He is banking on settling out of court or at least getting something off Okocha but he would've done that before taking the story to the media because Okocha will not agree to give him anything now. Look at guys like Joseph Dosu, he will remain faithful to taribo West and kanu Nwankwo and will never do anything to bite them because both guys were there for him at the worst season of his life. Okocha watched Etim's back even though Etim is not his set because Etim's set are Chidi nwanu, Mutiu, Peter Rufai etc. |
If okocha did not order the search or was not aware of the order of it until in full swing, then he can not be at fault IMO, just like you or I can not be at fault for something going on in the kitchen without consent, when we are in the living room unaware of it.If it was in America, Okocha will be held responsible for whatever happened to Etim in his own house. That's why you have be sure of whom you are inviting for a party in your house. It's kind of painful though that a guy he helped over the years turned around to bite him like this. You wonder why guys like Jonathan Akpoborihe or Mutiu Adepoju keep to themselves and mind their business. It's because of messes like this. |
dede jimmy, how about people wey lose their money?Where were they when I was pursuing this case in court? |
i lost my life savings at savanah bank. I went to the bank on Feb 13 to get some money for Val day and went back on feb 15th only to discover that it was under lock and key. Their licence alone is worth N25billion. kudos to their lawyers. How much are we talking about here? |
Nigeria's legal system sure can be slow. 7 years? They will frustrate you out of the system. I think the best thing for them to do is to liquidate their assets and settle debtors. If they want to float another bank, they can do so with another name. Nigeria is not America where some dumb nuts will give them a try. Imagine if Citigroup or Wachovia are Nigerian banks, the fact they hinted their money problems is enough for people to flood their gates the next morning asking for their savings. If you look at it very well, will you blame Nigerians for behaving that way? |
