the other judges hardly even say anything and itz because of that Dede. He just keeps rambling. He tries to input humor but he never gets it rright. The other judges' body language esp Dan even suggest to me, that they are disguisted and irritated at his behavior.
TravelRe: Lagos Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Lanes Enforced by Eastcoast(f): 12:43pm On Feb 22, 2007
@alabiyemmi,
When the service started it couldn't accomodate the population. People had to walk from the lagos island all the way to victoria island. I remember clearly because I had to walk all the way with my mom and lil' sister. AFter a few weeks, the gov't unbanned the normal danfo buses.

alabiyemmy:
@EastCoast

Example?
I remember some years back, when the govt banned public buses and started one special bus service for the island. It was so weird. The bus didn't run regularly, there was so much delay and insufficiency, that the gov't withdrew the service.

@wes, i don't blame nigerians for being cynical,doubtful, etc. afterall, the gov't has failed so many times. They are never able to fulfill their promises.Besides, most of the projects the govt starts usually ends up having some K leg at the end of the day.

I believe if all lagosians should believe in the new system and give it a chance, then it would be able to function adequately. Like alabiyemmy said, i also live in an area with lanes dedicated to only High occupancy vehicles and it works very fine. Believe lagosians, believe!.

I watched some of the clips. The show is good no doubt but, why does that Dede guy have to do so much talking. instead of going straight to the topic he beats around the bush so much and usually he is just saying random stuff that doesn't even reinforce what the show is about.
CelebritiesRe: What Happened To Toni Braxton? by Eastcoast(f): 7:14pm On Feb 20, 2007
the last time i heard of her was a few months ago. She had her own show in where else but VEGAS and she literally wore dresses made of bling and bling bling for her concerts.
TV/MoviesRe: The Intern Show (Reality TV) by Eastcoast(f): 7:12pm On Feb 13, 2007
The show is just ok; however, i believe it would be far better if they spend less time talking and more time showing the drama.
CelebritiesRe: Is Derele Gay? by Eastcoast(f): 4:56pm On Feb 13, 2007
i think he is just tryin to have his own signature look. The way he was acting in D'banj's video "WHY ME" was very weird and hilarious. I really can't imagine what goes on in his head.
Nairaland GeneralRe: Pronunciation (funny) by Eastcoast(f): 6:07pm On Feb 09, 2007
@Lady T,
O my gosh, girlllllllllllllllllllll, you are funnyyyyyyyyyyyyyy. It is true. The one i have noticed is that we don't pronounce "R" in most words.
Ex:

ART  === ATT

CAR === Kaaa

another one is the "TON" pronounciation

EX:

RESTON ==== RESTONE
TravelRe: London Is Not The Paradise I Expected by Eastcoast(f): 3:46pm On Jan 31, 2007
Why don't we let those in london talk about this. Peckham may be bad or good, but i believe that their quality of life is still much better than if they were in lagos. Even the air they are breathing is much cleaner unlike lagos air that is extremely humid and dirty. The peckham residents may be working hard but atleast they can eat enough food to satisfy their hunger afterall, isn't that what most nigerians are crying for back home.

GIRl, another part of me is really happy that you got to experience what life should really be. YOU shouldn't just have all the services come to you. People should not just be drowning like all our leaders in excess cash. Rather, you should work, get paid for only the work you did. Thatz why when most people are returning home, they have to dress like 50cent becoz they know how hard they have worked
TravelRe: London Is Not The Paradise I Expected by Eastcoast(f): 12:45pm On Jan 30, 2007
1 more thing. Girl itz like you've been waiting for the fun to come to you. You know what they say: if it ain't coming to you, then you go to it. So pick up your butt and walk to the fun. undecided. Besides London is not one spiritual heaven, where as soon as you land, everything comes to you. I guess that is the greatest difference btw home and abroad. You must work to get all you want. So girl, start working.
TravelRe: London Is Not The Paradise I Expected by Eastcoast(f): 12:43pm On Jan 30, 2007
eya, i do feel pity for the original poster. Girl i think what you don't know is "THERE IS LONDON & THERE IS LONDON". the same can be said for almost anywhere in the world. Even in this America. There are parts that are more dangerous than lagos. So don't feel dissappointed. I know you already know that by now afterall, you are attending AMERICAN UNIVERSITY IN YOLA. Girl, you tell me, how many people in naija can afford that skool? That tells me you are from a well of family if i'm not mistaken and i'm sure you know of all the poverty in naija yet your parents can afford to burn all those dough only on your education. That is the way it is in London and even America. There are the nice places and the bad places. I guess you just happened to land in the Ghetto. My advice to you is that you do some research, get on a train and go see the tourist attractions over there. Visit STONE HENGE, Big BEn, ETC and take pics there. Have fun honey!

Did y'all see that very gay boy, he was more thann gay. He was also on "SO u think you can dance". the way he kept shaping his mouth and abusing simon C. cracked me up. I think the boy really needs some medical check up.

Ofcourse itz very possible. I know what sushi is made of and i see it regularly. The sight just turns my taste buds off and thatz why i hate it even though i haven't tasted it.

i'm surprised none of you have talked about that fat blonde lady that wore a gold shirt and came with her mom and sang don't cha. She was hilarious to me. Simon didn't really get a chance to insult her, i guess because her mom was there.  She was just crazy

Dating And Meet-up ZoneRe: I'm 20, I Have Never Dated Anyone: Do U Find That Strange? by Eastcoast(f): 2:26am On Dec 07, 2006
my first boyfriend was at 22. its not a big deal to be 20 , and never dated. infact I would say it is a plus. think about all the things you don't have to worry about, think about meeting the one at age 24, and he is so happy that "he is your one and only". remember it is better to be single than date the wrong guy. so many peeps are in unhappy relationships not all that glitters is gold. if you rush in, you rush out. many guys are out there ready to take advantage of pretty, young gurls. do you want peeps to take advantage of you? if not, please wait, keep hoping, trusting and praying, do your best to look your best, I believe he is searching for you.
