Am displeased with you for pointing fingers at the British when God gave you guys almost 40 years to make a difference.

There is poverty in the north because of the Colonial Policy not to educate Northerners so as not produce Muslim progressives like in India & Pakistan (Its open knowledge) thats why we are some years behind. Education is one of the ways out of poverty. Lazy and depend on free food? Do you know why? Because an average northerner is generous as the predominant religion in the North enjoins giving voluntary and the compulsory annual zakat (1/40 of your savings) which is suppose to eliminate poverty if its done well. Imagine the likes of Dangote giving 1/40 of their annual earnings to prospective entrepreneurs , that will reduce poverty by 50% in 10-20 yrs but some of them prefer to give chicken change so as to remain in control and satisfy their ego. As a result of this some of them became lazy and feel they dont have to work after all the religion preaches that and they feel its their birthright. Am also not exonerating the so called Northern leaders because they have failed us. When people get on that sit all they think is themselves regardless of region, tribe or religion.

Nigeria gained independence since 1960 which is 54 years ago and your guys keep blaming the British for your educational backwardness despite ruling Nigeria for more than 38 yrs.

NafeesaAA: NAF case is different, they have to make do with what they have. It would have been a different case if they had the equipments and they are not performing. But NA are the worst culprits, half of Boko haram weapons are source from the military. Remember the Mongulo barrack Attack that gifted Boko haram their first consignments of RPG and GPMG. I could remember vividly, immediately after the attack the NA released a statement that they kill close to 100 invading boko haram fighters that attempted to enter the barrack. But after a week boko haram released a video of bounties they stole from the attack with NA paint, inscriptions on them. Boko haram currently have 6 or more APC all seized from the military.

My brother, forget this mole or lack of equipment clauses they normally put forward, the military are afraid of Boko haram, they are even avoiding them, from the pictures on this thread, it is evident that they are not under supplied with weapons. Unless if they wanted Nuclear weapons.
