Henry Kissinger, former US Secretary of States wrote this in his memo to the President of the United States: "The Ibos are the wandering Jews of West Africa -- gifted, aggressive, Westernized; at best envied and resented, but mostly despised by the mass of their neighbors in the Federation. They have fought well (by African standards) against heavy odds; their cynical public relations use of the starvation has been brilliant." https://2001-2009.state.gov/r/pa/ho/frus/nixon/e5/55258.htm

In an increasingly confrontational approach to China, President Trump announced new targeted sanctions against Chinese officials on Friday and directed his administration to revoke special trade exemptions for Hong Kong, though he said he would keep a phase one trade deal with China intact. 1. Trump announced that he would impose new sanctions and visa restrictions on Chinese officials who played a role in “smothering” Hong Kong’s freedom, while also directing his administration to end the city’s preferential treatment, separate from China, in customs, trade and travel. The move comes in response to Beijing’s new national security bill for Hong Kong, which reduces the city’s autonomy from mainland China. China unilaterally imposed control over Hong Kong’s national security, Trump said: “China is abandoning of idea of ‘One country, two systems’ in favor of ‘one country, one system.’” 2. The United States will also terminate its relationship with the World Health Organization, Trump announced, claiming that China has “total control” over the WHO. Trump cited his belief that China has engaged in a cover up of “the Wuhan virus,” accusing the country of instigating the global pandemic that has killed millions. Stocks had been falling for most of the day as Wall Street braced for Trump’s press conference: The Dow was plunged by around 250 points on fears that the president would either impose new sanctions or trade penalties. https://www.forbes.com/sites/sergeiklebnikov/2020/05/29/trump-announces-new-sanctions-on-chinese-officials-but-wont-scrap-phase-one-trade-deal/

Buhari trusts women more than men in zaoza room. Male ministers dey complain. Na de matter we dey Aso Rock Villa dey settle since morning. |
The Senior Special Assistant, Media and Publicity to President Muhammadu Buhari, Mr Garba Shehu has said that Buhari trusts women more than men. Disclosing this when he played host in an NTA programme on Friday, Shehu, said; “Let me say this, I hope I don’t get myself into trouble. “He is more trusted of women than men, because he has given this country… all these years, all the country’s money is in the hands of women and they kept it safely. And they are doing well.” Recall that Kemi Adeosun was Buhari’s first finance minister, before, Zainab Ahmed. Both are women of exceptional qualities. Adeosun resigned on September 15, 2018, following allegations that she used a forged certificate to avoid the country’s mandatory one-year youth service scheme, NYSC. In her defense, Kemi said she was issued with a certificate that she thought was genuine. She however, resigned honorably. In her words, “This has come as a shock to me and I believe that in line with this administration’s focus on integrity, I must do the honourable thing and resign”. https://www.vanguardngr.com/2020/05/president-muhammadu-buhari-trusts-women-more-than-men-garba-shehu-reveals/amp

Good to know they restored his security details. Some people were here jumping up and down like monkeys and screaming that he was a fraudster because he is from a particular region of Nigeria. Watch how they will carefully avoid this thread. Sleep will be very far from them today. But E-Money or whatever he calls himself should soft-pedal with his show-offs abeg. It not only gives his enemies sleepless nights but also multiplies his enemies. |
The northern elites are cashing out big time from insurgency and banditry. |
I hope Lai Mohammed and Femi Adesina are on that plane. The health minister still does not know the whereabouts of the Chinese doctors. New loan request from China loading 99%... Buhari, over to you. Send the loan request to Ahmed Lawan for immediate Senate approval. |
The Nigerian Defence Headquarters has denied Amnesty International's allegation of arresting, detaining and torturing children in its custody. Major General John Enenche, the Coordinator of Defence Media Operations in his response to the allegation accused the international humanitarian agency of undermining the success and efforts of the Nigerian military in the fight against insurgency. He said; “Why is it that every time we are recording success, they will come up with their report? “All the allegations are all lies. None is true. Patriotic Nigerians are already reacting. To say that we are touring children is ridiculous. We are party to the international convention on war. “How about the people, the women and children we have rescued and vaccinated?. The purpose is to discourage those who are supporting us”. The Defence spokesperson also affirmed that there is no scheduled date to end the decade-old war against insurgency in the North-east. Enenche added; “There is no time that there will not be casualty. I cannot say but that the casualty figure will be reduced, yes. “There is no mathematical end to the war. The Bible says the heart of man is desperately wicked. We will get there. I assure Nigerians that the situation would be normalised." https://www.lindaikejisblog.com/2020/5/no-detained-child-in-our-custody-theres-no-date-to-end-insurgency-war-defence-headquarters.html

1stola:You're confused. The same you will be jumping up and down like a monkey on other threads arguing that Amaechi and south south are not Igbos. |
El-rufai, Secretary-General of Short Men Association of Nigeria praising Amaechi, a man who is collaborating with his do-nothing father (Bihari) to borrow away the future of Nigeria all in the name of building railways and buying ancient locomotive engines they call trains. He is Rotimi Amaechi. Those who own that first name, Rotimi, should come and carry their brother oooo. Rivers people talk say them no do again. ![]() |
This is a case between Masters and their slaves. Nothing concern us. They won't still learn in 2023. |
![]() AhoadaRivers:You are serving it to them hot and undiluted. Ride on! ![]() |
Well done Wike. They should take Ruga to Femi Adesina and Tinubu's villages in the South West. Before you quote me, remember that Tinubu marketed Mr. Do-nothing president and Feminine Adesina said that Mr. Dullard was the best thing that happened to his family since sliced bread. |
It's clear Ekweremadu is against democratic progress in Nigeria. So he wants state houses of assembly to continue being puppets of governors. IPOB are watching him.

The north likes ruling others when they have not been able to rule themselves. The only thing keeping Nigeria together is the collective hatred for Igbos. The north is on a self-destruct mode. Even Buhari, IBB and Abdulsalami (all present and past presidents) cannot stop bandits in Daura, Katasina and the entire north. Later some people will start shouting, "Igbos hate themselves." I hope you all can see the kind of love Hausa/Fulani are showing themselves. May God never allow us show our brothers the kind of love Hausa/Fulani are showing themselves and their neighbours. Don't quote me because if you do, I will make sure your boss sends you to bandit-ravaged Zamfara, Katsina or Sokoto to continue your work. |
Galactico4ever:At least the small boy knows that NCDC, FG and state governors are concocting figures so as to get more money from international donors. I never liked Yahaya Bello but his position on NCDC deserves some respect. NCDC should just let Kogi State be else Yahaya Bello will wash their dirty linen in public. |
Galactico4ever:Kogi State Government is ready to fight dirty. NCDC will not win this one. |

IPOB are watching him.
