Hello house, This is a true story. I met this girl, Amaka, a very pretty lady in her mid 20s. I approached her and we dated for a while, she later got pregnant for me. I told her to keep the pregnancy and i will go see her parents, she refused and insisted on aborting the baby. I asked her if she has done it before, and she said NO. I have never sponsored abortion in my life, so i maintained my stands of not letting her abort my baby. She later agreed and we got married, after two months, she got miscarriage. She tried getting pregnant again and she couldn't, this took us about 1 year. One day, we went to the chapel to pray, during the prayer, she started wiping. Coming home, i asked her why she was wiping, She then confessed that she had an abortion before with the only guy that has dated her before me. According to her, she dated just 1 guy before meeting me. After the confession, she now took in the following month. She gave birth to a baby girl. After child birth, she will most at times decline my advances towards her. She will always complain of not having feelings. After 3 years, i was going through her phone, and i saw her conversation with another lady, telling the lady how she can't control her feelings towards my brother, that she always see my brother in her dream making love to her. Amaka told her friend that she loves her husband and wouldn't want to destroy her marriage. Her friend advised Amaka never to let my brother know she is catching feelings for him. On seeing this conversation, i got provoked and confronted her. She asked me who gave me the right to go through her phone, phone that i bought for her o.... i got angry and gave her a beating of her life. After everything, she apologized and i forgave her. Now, i am feeling betrayed, and any time i get home and looking at her, i feel so very bad. I want to send her out of my house because she has betrayed my trust, and i nolonger feel save staying under same roof with her. If she can develop such feelings for my brother, then it is obvious she can do more to other men. Pls advise me on what to do. I got this from my inbox to help post so he can get best advise. Pls, help with matured advise. |

Sharing An Office With The Devil Hello NL, i will not bored you up with much talk this time around, rather i will go straight to the point. Early 2017 when i got a job in a construction company, i was made to share an office with a lady. Since i was new there, the lady was the one showing me around, introducing me to some clients, taking me out for lunch etc. After some time, the lady demanded to know my house and i was so scared of taking her to my house since dad and mum are always against that. One day, i had to act like a man and i took her to my house. She admired my room and fell in love with almost every thing that was in that room. She left my house that evening and the next day we still met at the office. In the morning of that day, the lady told me she wants to have a talk with me so i made up time to hear from her. She was so uncomfortable when we went out to discuss in one of the eatry, but later she told me she wants to carry my baby, that she is 31 and she really want to have a child of her own, meanwhile, i am 29. I was so scared and bittered while she will say such a thing. I refused with a reason been that i am from a descent home therefore, my parents will kill me if i do such a thing. Right now, any time i go to work, this lady will at times sit on the table, open her legs and ask me to see what is inbetween her legs. She will insist on kissing me at times. I am a guy that is always shy, i am not comfortable with her in that office again. Please my good friends, what do you think is right for me to do in this kind of situation that i will escape this lady? |
I salute my fellow Nairalanders, I trust you are all doing good? I salute Mr President ( Oga Buhari) for initiating this wonderful program (N power). I am blessed to be among the 2016 beneficiary of the federal government empowerment scheme (N power). I started this program since december 2016, i worked for six months and my stipends were not paid. I laid so many complains to the social investment office here in makurdi and Abuja, until it was june 2016 that i received my first stipend, and they promised paying to me my backlog, but up till now i have not gotten any thing from them. Now every where is quiet, no body is talking about our backlog any more. At times i wonder if the president or his vice knows that they are owing our stipends up till now for no reason. Please my fellow nairalanders, help and make this situation known to the president or his vice because we are suffering alot. Let the people in charge pay us our money, we worked for it therefore, we deserve it (kate and Ella, am i telling lies?). Thanks to this great forum. Please admin, push this to front page so it can reach distances. |

Amidst increasing concerns over the level insecurity in the Edo State, a senior staff of the University of Benin, Edo State, Prof. Paul Otasowie, has been killed by gunmen. It was learnt Otasowie was shot dead by the armed men in front of his residence on Ekehuan road in Oredo Local Government Area of the state on Wednesday evening. There was, however, speculation that the professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering was either assassinated or gunned down by suspected armed robbers. BY ALEXANDER OKERE, BENINOCT 05, 2017 Amidst increasing concerns over the level insecurity in the Edo State, a senior staff of the University of Benin, Edo State, Prof. According to another version of the incident, the deceased, who was a former director of the university’s Industrial Training and Student Industrial Work Experience Scheme, was allegedly shot during an attempted kidnap. It was gathered that the news of his death left the university community in a state of mourning. The Public Relations Officer of the institution, Mr. Michael Osasuyi, confirmed the incident to The PUNCH on Thursday. Osasuyi stated, “We lost him (Otasowie) yesterday. We are trying to gather the right information now (because) we are getting different versions. Prof. Paul Otasowie “The first version said that it was an assassination (while) the second version said that it was armed robbery, that he was inside a car and they shot him.” He described the death of the professor as a huge loss to the university community, adding the deceased was a hardworking and dedicated staff. Osasuyi said, “For now, the university cannot ascertain what has transpired. But we are sending delegates now to the house to meet with the family. “We commiserate with the family and it is a big blow to the university. He was one of the persons who have ensured that work is done and done well.” He, however, noted that the institution was concerned about the level of insecurity in the state. “The vice-chancellor, Prof. Orunmwense is saddened with this development. We just wish that this insecurity in Edo State is looked into. Just recently, (Joseph) Osayomore was kidnapped. “The level of insecurity now is becoming something else. The vice-chancellor commiserates with the family and the school is mourning,” the spokesman added. |

I respect this forum so much because of the help i have been deriving from it. I have a little challenge and i wish to get advice from experts in the house. I have a BSc (ed) degree in physics, after my NYSC, i gathered little money of about 200k. I went to where i graduated to get MSC form, and i was told that the only courses i can apply for are educational related courses like; educational measurement and evaluation, educational planning and administration, guidance and counselling etc, but i really want to continue with a physics related course. If am to continue with this physics, i will have to put in for PGD before i will apply for the masters, and i just have 200k. Please, my question is, Should i just go for the educational courses? but we don't have much job prospects in these educational courses. or should i put in for PGD and go for masters in Theoritical physics? But am not growing younger, and there is no money. Or should i just forget about school for now and go into Agricultural business with this meager amount (200k)? Please help me. Op, you can do me a favour by taking this to the appropriate section. |

The Sultan of Sokoto and Chairman Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar, has declared Sept. 1, 2017, as Eid-el-Kabir day. This is contained in a statement signed by Prof. Sambo Junaidu, the Chairman, Advisory Committee on Religious Affairs to the Sokoto Sultanate Council. The statement, made available to the News Agency of Nigeria in Sokoto on Wednesday, indicated that the declaration followed the sighting of the new moon of Zulhijja on Tuesday. “The advisory committee in conjunction with the National Committee on Moon Sighting received various reports on moon sighting across the country confirming the sighting of the new moon of Zulhijja on Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2017,’’ it said. The statement said that following the development, Muslims in Nigeria would observe Friday, Sept. 1, as Sallah day. It added that the Sultan felicitates with all Muslims and wished them Allah’s guidance, blessings, and protection. The federal government has lifted the ban it hitherto placed on the post Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) otherwise called Post-UTME being conducted by individual universities for admissions. Minister of Education, Malam Adamu Adamu, announced the decision in Abuja Tuesday while declaring open the 2017 Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) policy meeting which heralds the commencement of the 2017/2018 tertiary admission process. He admitted that the 2016 decision to ban the post-UTME was done in error and that he was ill advised to take that decision. He added that corruption in the system was also responsible for the decision to ban the Post-UTME exercise. How however directed that no institution should charge any few above N2, 000 per candidate in the exercise and it should be corruption free. My dear, its not your husband alone. I believe am more addicted to my phone more than your husband. I have been denied of sex several times because i was busy with my phone when she signaled. You just need to bring up topics that you think he will be interested in. And secondly, don't make him feel you are angry because of his addiction to phone, you can also dedicate your time to something else and i bet you, he will come seeking for your attention. Do this and thank me later. |
