This Ghanian boy is playing like a man possessed.. .... |
It was a make up call, the ref didn't call the reckless tackle by dyer on Mario, so human nature kicked in and vwala penalty..... Since I was a kid, Liverpool have been Spurs daddy.....this could get ugly. |
If NFF does not agree with FIFAs rules and regulations then they should join the other governing body that controls football worldwide...... Oh there isn't one.... NFF should be banned by FIFA for a year. We need to learn the hard way. No govt interference means no govt . |
Happy birthday to our best player |
Eat no carbs. Tough, cause a lot Nigerian food has lots of carbs. |
I say yes, but I have a feeling oga kesh kesh won't recall him. But if it is that wonderful player john Mike obi, he has an automatic call up. |
I love football but it would be nice if SSS services were used for more important things , but what do I know. Are SSS also going to arrest players for the game against France? |
Gangsterland that is Nigeria's new name. Niggas is wild up in here!!!!! |
Is RVP sick? Grey hair, looking fatigued, extended rest from wc....... Hope he is good, man u is gonna need him. |
This is a game of chicken.....whose gonna blink first? Few thoughts.... I think Keshi should stop saying he has offers? It can't be an African team as they are also gettn ready for qualifiers and he would be coaching them now. So he must be talking club football, which team? I can't understand our culture that tolerates unpaid wages or late payment of wages, it is criminal, so I feel his pain not wanting to relive that. Whatever Nff does pls don't allow Eguavon anywhere near the vacancy, the guy is an awful coach...... |
So we have a list but no coach , I got it, let's play ball, after all how much time do u really need to prepare for a soccer match? |
All I can say is, talk about football imbalance .....how can one team have messi, iniesta, neymar and Suarez on the same team? But as for the promise not to bite again ...hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha |
Excellent, about time, ....... |
Mourinho has earned the right to build his team the way he wants. Is he stubborn and arrogant? Yes. Sometimes wrong ? Absolutely. But when a guy wins wherever he goes, me thinks he knows what he is doing. Demba Ba is free to light up the Turkish league to the tune of as many goals to his hearts content. Sturridge didn't fit with mourinho's philosophy, now in Liverpool he has become better, Lukaku too in Everton. |
Its creatively brazen and edgy. |
See oyingo wit tribute........begin day clap in unison...all for slain fans in a non football related death.... Very cool.... Any news on nacho? Is he on the bench? On loan? |
I hope he gets play time and hoping Osaze acts like a big brother and helps moses get his mojo back. |
I think man u needs RVP, how much more rest does he need? Wc was soooo long ago. Swansea should brace for second half. |
utumunta: This is goodnews! Their jersey does not inspire at all. The Super eagles always look like they are from a poor country in their jersey. Please they should go for Puma ASAPYes, our jerseys are not marketable and look like a jersey under 17 supposed to wear. Not that a jersey can fix what ailes our football, but let's look good n stylish, just like the people being represented. Puma puma puma.... body fitted stylish and something u want to buy even if u are not nigeria. |
I agree 100% great topic. I got married when it rained and my first thought was God why now? But the pics came out clear with everyone looking good and smiling except for one mumu that was frowning face like he was too good to be there. |
The best number ten for naija that is, that was and that ever will be. |
Wow, I'm impressed, up Nigeria!!!!!!!!! |
Its a good ploy by Rwanda, but It ain't gonna happen. They have a better chance playing us to a draw, than getting the venue changed. |
I remember the match like it was yesterday and to say it has been 25 yrs already....wow. I'm just gonna put it out there, if this had happened to an American player playing for the US, a foundation would have been set up, his jersey number retired and some kind of remembrance. It would not be dependent on a regime or leadership, it would continue regardless of whomever is president. I'll give credit for the statue outside a national stadium that is no longer a national stadium. |
Suicide is not a joke nor is depression, We cannot judge him and question why a man in his 60s chooses to end his life in such a way. I'm numb. He was one of my favourite comedians. But his true gift, was his ability to play against type. Insomnia is a great movie he starred opposite Al Pacino and played this non comedic role very well. RIP |
Report: NYCFC target Manchester City youth player Kelechi Iheanacho By Dave Martinez on August 8, 2014 New York City F.C. are bound to take on a handful of Manchester City youth players in their inaugural season. Is Kelechi Iheanacho one of them? According to AfricanFootball.com, sources close to “a top Manchester City official” say the U-20 Nigerian international is an NYCFC loan target. “Kelechi’s profile has shot up since what he achieved in pre-season in the United States of America,” African Football reports. “As a result of this, many other clubs are keen to have him and Manchester City are expected to soon decide where he will go to on loan. While NYCFC are a leading candidate, several other teams are in the running for his services — including an option in Belgium. Iheanacho, 17, will turn 18 in October. He was the 2013 FIFA U-17 World Cup MVP while representing Nigeria, earning the Silver Boot as the second highest goalscorer and the Golden Ball as the best player of the tournament. He was awarded the CAF Most Promising Talent of the Year award for his accomplishments and is considered one of the next great emerging African talents. Iheanacho has also scored three times during City’s tour of the United States, raising his domestic profile. That success has forced City to keep him with the club despite being called up by his country for the coming AYC qualifier against Lesotho. “Kelechi was to have been released by Manchester City at least a week before the match, but the club’s recruitment officer has called us back to say they have plans for him and so he will no longer be available,” http://www.empireofsoccer.com/manchester-kelechi-iheanacho-27994/ |
Anytime I see him in front of goal he implodes as if his wires are crossed, sad to see a cheetah turn into a kitten.. At this point can he even score into an empty net? |
Just don't loan him somewhere his growth will be stunted, serie a for a yr will do him well even ligue 1, bundasliga too, but not erevidise unless its Ajax who have always had a good youth system. |
I for one I'm glad. I grew up being able to watch nigerIa play on nta, this restores that. Life without cable TV in Nigeria is not living. |
I hope Nff realisizes they have a match Sept 7.... I'm just going to put it out there......we have less than a month to prep..... It would be nice to go in prepared. |
Maybe the beginning of a golden generation, now if we can get the right tactics in place to take advantage of their skills, oh my!!! Sky is the limit. |
OK o , I bow to the greater wisdom of my fellow Nigerians. Keshi, I salute you, keep up the good work. |
